I thought I loved rollercoasters until I saw this video.
That's insane! I don't think I'd ever drive 8 hours to work at a park on Saturdays. That is so impressive.

Love the vids bro! Good work! I always wondered how good the pay was working at cedar point, we live about 2 hours north in the suburbs of Detroit and I always wanted to work there when i was a little younger. I’m sure you can get a ton of hours! Was the hourly wage decent also?
I went last Friday and going tomorrow. Would’ve loved to have met you man, I’m in the last week of my 3 month coast to coast crusade and rode over 100 coasters across the world. Oh, also fitted Burning man and 6 national parks in :P

Would you recommend working at great adventure as a ride op? I’ve thought about for quite some time. I live about a half hour away and my car gets about 14mpg. Is it worth it?
Absolutely! I recommend that every coaster enthusiast try working at a park at some point in their lives. It gives you a different perspective on how parks and the industry run! Plus Great Adventure is a fun park to work at !

Man, you are lucky. I'd love to work there soon but I'm in Florida and it takes 15 through 16 hours to go to Cedar Point although I've never even been! Someday I hopefully will go to Cedar Point, maybe even stay in Ohio for a bit. I don't really know, time will tell.

I wish Six Flags had housing for their employees. ViperFangirl wants to become an employee at SFGAdv, but they don't live close enough, so they have to work at the unthemed dump that is Nickelodeon Universe. The only good part of it is that they could possibly overcome their fear of vertical drops if they have to ride Shellraiser... Thank God I live closer to GAdv!! I don't want to spend fifty dollars to visit Viper at work.

What was the issue with Millenium Force? I was there from August 7-9 and it was almost always down! Was it the lift cable?
Ehhh I can’t really disclose that since I work at the park now. I can tell you it was for “mechanical reasons” tho lol it has been a bit more reliable now tho
