    Wow. What a great and informative video. Let me say how much I appreciate Cedar Point associates! My husband and I visit the park quite often as it is our home park and we are about an hour away. We've been going to CP since 2007 and just can't get enough! I don't know what ride you worked, but a big thank you to you!!! I hope we see you this season!!!

    Hi! Thanks for making this video it is super helpful! You mentioned that you worked admissions your first year and that’s what I’ll be doing for my first year this up summer and I was wondering what you thought of it? Did you like it and like what were some of your responsibilities? Also were the shifts like stressful and long or chill? Thanks :)

    I worked there and lived in the oldest dorms with non English speaking roommates many years ago. They had lake flies really bad. I ate tuna, noodles and cereal😂 overall I loved it and it’s a highlight from my younger years. That dorm bathroom was much cleaner than the newer dorm I transferred from. My Asian roommate gifted me some awesome stuff and was super cool 😌 I worked in the dip and dots booth 😂

    Going to cedar point in july so hopefully I see you there. When I'm there I'm gonna ask around to the workers about how it is to work there because I want to do ride ops somewhere but I cant figure out where. I'm a big coaster enthusiast lol.

    I worked at cedar point a few years ago for a summer (2013) I wish I would have thought about Housekeeping I think I would have loved that. I was a park sweep/restroom attendant. Not a pleasant job but got many hours. I wanted ride operation. If I ever went back I will probably apply for housekeeping 👍lol

      @lucydraws1237 2 месяца назад

      @@nicholasfosnaugh157 It was good I met some nice people and made new friends! :) The area that I worked at had very nice people that I felt comfortable around and since I’m a big fan of Cedar Point I felt honored to work there. Yes it can be tiring and somedays overall it’s very fun! During the summer after the park closes there sometimes employee ride night where like 2 coasters are open for employees to ride as much as they want for like an hour or two just make sure you have your employee ID with you at all times so they know you are a worker and not a guest trying to get more ride time. For the employee housing it can very small and cramped because they have 4 people per small room and I’m not a big fan of that I would prefer to have my own space but if you got a friend staying with you it can make the room a little bit better and in the commons area they sometimes have food tucks and some events every now and then to help liven up the employee housing area and I recommend to go visit whenever there is something and maybe even bring some your new work friends. There’s a lot of fun memories to make and I’m excited for you to be starting soon! (Sorry if there is any bad grammar or spelling 😅)

    As far as hours/days go, you can work as little, or as much as you want. Many people just work at Cedar Point a couple days a week, then have a higher paying job somewhere else in town. I worked Saturdays and Sundays only, then had a higher paying job at the mall in town.
    Also, make sure your contract has the correct pay on it. The minimum pay this season is supposed to be $12 an hour. If it isn't listed at that amount, do not sign the contract, and ask why the pay is lower.

Just finished filling out all my paperwork. The only problem im having rn is i cant log in to myhr but ill sort that out later. I usually have horrible (i wont get into it but i mean horrible) luck so right now im terrified of the whole roommate thing. I had a friend get hired weeks before me and he just went up on saturday. Wish i wouldve spoke to him sooner mightve been able to room with him. Now it looks like he got decent roommates and i have a big question mark.
