I love your channel Louise.you have been my inspiration for the last few months.Since I found you I’ve been getting more confident in my crafting.I also love your soothing voice,it makes me feel very calm.
I’m so thrilled that you made this little mushroom lamp, I literally just received it in the post 2 days ago, I’m going to make my granddaughters one each ❤
Aww, cute little Honey! Sorry, I was watching the dog. I feel the same as you, the cute molds don't dom much for me but if I use them, I find I do enjoy them. Brilliant light.
How cute! My daughter-in-law loves mushrooms, so I've become a fan as well. Your little furry friend seems to feel like being the star, rather than the mushroom. How sweet
Lovely product. Outstanding opportunity to see sweet Honey being her adorable self! (I think the mold is grand but in my world it's difficult to compete with such a precious doggum.)
Love this, suggestion for next time though, maybe. Next time black it out with a black paint marker, and then put your white UV resin on top of it. That way it is shadowed out from beneath the paint
I love this mold. I might have to yry a night light now. 😊 I use UV resin with glow in the dark pigment inside the mold to do the spots, then pour my resin. That way if you mess up a dot you can take it out without messing up the whole cap. Then I use the same color glow powder in the mushroom base. Not super realistic, but im currently obsessed with glowing stuff so it's fun.
Hi, amazing as always. Whether you didnt want the light shine through the spots or not it is lovely. I dont know which is more lovely the mushroom or Honey. Thanx for sharing
Oooh I must get one of these moulds and have a go 😊. Awe Honey is totally adorable, what a cutie 🥰. Thank you again for such wonderful inspiration Louise 💕
Perhaps you should have used a black marker to color in the spots, then put on the white uv resin? I've been wanting to get this mold to make mushroom lamps
@@rebekahbellaj1949 yes, I've found that Acrylic Paint, Mica powders, Sharpie and other ink pens (Testors, etc) all work. I haven't tried with UV tho). It gets absorbed into the Resin so won't scrape off.
Love it! I'm just waiting for that mould to arrive, I'm all excited now! Thanks for the info on Aqua Cast too. I have some, but not tried it yet. I hope it works this well for me as I struggle with jesmonite and how fussy it is on mixing
Your little dog is so adorable! I love little dogs like that. I really love the mushroom! It is so cute! I've got a thing for mushrooms and would love to get that mold. I really love the resin top of the mushroom. It looks really great with the base!
Thank you Nancy. Yes you could definitely use AP. You might need a few layers if you make a lamp because the brush strokes will really show up when it is switched on.
Hee heee! I love Honey! She's so cute! ❤😊 I noticed she didn't leave 'til we all got a good look at her cuteness! 😆 Thank you for leaving her in. 😊 I have been eyeing that mushroom pot for ages, trying to decide if I should get it. I'm with you; I don't usually go for cutesy stuff, but I do like mushrooms. Not sure why! I love your ideas for using the mold, too! Gorgeous nightlight and candle pots. 👍❤ As for blacking out those spots...do you think some black resin dye (not alcohol ink!) mixed with the UV resin might work for a "base", then putting a whitish mica coating over that would work? OR, just use a black Posca pen or black acrylic paint first?
Aw thank you sweetheart yes honey is a real cutie. I think black on the spots first is a really good idea. I think I was afraid of it looking grey with white on top but I don’t think it would.

Ooooo! I have this mould! Didn’t think of using transparent resin for the lid! And what a cute little pup!
I love his channel and her sweet voice is so inviting and friendly🤗
What a lovely thing to say, thank you Summer xxx
The night light turned out great and your puppy is very photogenic 😍

This is a very pretty lamp!
Thank you for sharing, I love your videos
Thank you so much, Yes Honey is a constant source of amusement, she’s a real character.
Love the mushroom light however I’m a dog lover & have 1 just like yours. The dog stoled
the show. Thank you very much
Thank you Debra. Yes I kinda guessed that Honey would steal the mushroom’s limelight 🤣 she is quite irresistible xx
That is so cute! Oh and so is your furry friend!
I have the same mold. I absolutely LOVE that you turned it into a night light! Thank you so much for sharing your awesome ideas! Hugs 💚🧡💛
So adorable! I had a doggie looked just like yours once. Her name was Princess. They said she was a Morkie. Maltese Yorkie.
Love this, suggestion for next time though, maybe.

That turned out so very cute. I really like the idea of turning it into a night light.
What a fabulous idea, love it!!
That’s absolutely amazing - I’d put mine on my bedside table and hope nobody snaffles it!
aww your dog is adorAble!!! I just got this mold as well and I love it as well!
Absolutely gorgeous. I am gonna make one right now. Thank you.
So adorable 🥰

I love this lamp Lou, it looks amazing. It looks fantastic using different compounds for top and bottom. Brilliant! Love you my dear friend. 😘 xxx
Thank you my lovely. Xx
Hi lou what a fantastic idea
Hi Louise love how you made it half resin and half aqua cast 😍 looks great , thanks for sharing ❤️ xx
Hi, amazing as always. Whether you didnt want the light shine through the spots or not it is lovely. I dont know which is more lovely the mushroom or Honey. Thanx for sharing
What a great idea..
Oooh I must get one of these moulds and have a go 😊. Awe Honey is totally adorable, what a cutie 🥰.
Thank you again for such wonderful inspiration Louise 💕
Thank you ever so much Jan. Yes Honey is a sweetie ( when she isn’t barking at anyone who dares to walk past the window 🙄😂)
Thanks Louise, really pretty and you always give the best tips for doing things!
Love this, worth it just for the pot shape.
Thank you Deborah, I agree about the pot shape, it’s perfect.
Perhaps you should have used a black marker to color in the spots, then put on the white uv resin? I've been wanting to get this mold to make mushroom lamps
Love it!
Another Fab project!😻 You might try some black opaque ink for the spots? On the inside of the lid ...
Would you apply the ink to the mold and then pour the resin? Trying to figure out how to do this without uv resin 😬
@@rebekahbellaj1949 yes, I've found that Acrylic Paint, Mica powders, Sharpie and other ink pens (Testors, etc) all work. I haven't tried with UV tho). It gets absorbed into the Resin so won't scrape off.

Thank you. Yep Aqua Cast is a lot easier to use than Jesmonite ( in my opinion)
Your little dog is so adorable! I love little dogs like that.
I really love the mushroom! It is so cute! I've got a thing for mushrooms and would love to get that mold. I really love the resin top of the mushroom. It looks really great with the base!
Thank you Lisa, yes I think it is a great contrast using the two mediums. X
I’m obsessed with this mold- any suggestions for the white spots without uv resin or paint? Beautiful finished piece!!
What did you use for the bottom
They are adorable. Do you think acrylic paint would work for the spots?
Thank you Nancy. Yes you could definitely use AP. You might need a few layers if you make a lamp because the brush strokes will really show up when it is switched on.

Oh, shucks, Lou! I hadn't thought it through, but it very well might look grayish with the light behind it. 😲
How much resin in total did you end up needing?
Hello I love this one but may I ask what u use for lights
Thank you Milton, it’s just LED fairy lights.
❤😂👌🏻
