Thank you, Dave, for all these headrush videos. Very helpful and so needed as there seems to be so little guidance out there for the headrush. Keep up the great work!
I use this technique with my boss gt 100 and my marshall valvestate 8240 amp. I'm in a cover band, and when we play queen songs I switch the marshall preamp for the vox ac30 simulation from my boss gt 100. Great video
Thanks for this explanation, along with your other 4CM Headrush video! Running it this way, when you disable the FX loop block on the pedalboard, are you able to use all the effects before it still, even on the modelled amp?
So doing this not only allows use of amp sims with a real tube amp, but also allows use of a real guitar cab with actual guitar speakers rather than using cab sims or IRs?
Hi Dave, when you run via the Marshall in 4CM, what sort of level do you set the Headrush main master volume knob at? Is there a safe limit level or is it just a case of trying out what sounds best? Thanks man, love your vids 😊
@@DaveWebbMusic thanks, have kind of found a neutral level about 8.5 - 9 on the master, seems to keep the levels the same when I engage / disengage the FX loop on my JVM All I want now is multiple MIDI PC assignments within a single rig, doubtful now though with the release of the Prime board…
Yeah nice, sounds like you’re all over it. It will be interesting to see how they approach all the units now. We are obviously stuck with the amount of DSP that is in each unit, but surely the updates will keep coming…
What isn’t shared here is the wack frequencies and weird physical sensations. Modelers are best left to the frfr if you really want to pretend it’s a tube amp surprisingly. IMO at least.

Great stuff! I see you're a Poison fan. Cool! 4 Cable Method video is informative.
Awesome video Dave sounded amazing
This is cool!

Awesome. Love this way of thinking! 🤘🏼
So….. is the 4CM set up the same way? And simply put amps after the effects loop and turn the effects loop off if one wants to use the Headrush amps?

So then this is a mic’d cab I’m hearing?
Correct
which is better headrush pedalboard or prime?
Prime
Prime. Pedalboard is inferior.

Yes. Basically all modelers worth buying do these things you’ve mentioned.

I have mine set to max. Start low and then increase and see how it goes.

Need to show the cables for dummies like me
Watch my 4 cable method video. It’s the same setup.
