(con’t) on two paper towels placed on a paper plate. I like bacon crispy, 3 pieces for 4 minutes. Using 1. layer of paper towel leaves to much grease to clean up. I’m able to use paper plate 2 or 3 more times.

Very interesting and different ways to do a cone and scrambled eggs. Too much to eat for just myself though and too much work for my 1 egg and 1 mini-size cone. This morning I ate 1 fried egg in a tiny bit of butter with 2 thin slices of browned luncheon meat (bacon costs about $14.00 a small pack last time at our one store, so have to wait for that sale twice a year to get some for the freezer). Then toasted a small burger bun and ate it as a sandwich. I'm full.
Not desperate enough to do that diet route of dropping eggs in boiling water - 'could' be ewww in texture and taste.
Love your other tricks though as they are all very creative, whether I use them or not.
