    Random thought, I think one running a velocity stack and the other running that restrictive foam filter might have been the difference.
    Perhaps future carb testing should be done with the same filter or perhaps no filter at all where necessary.

    Love your videos and I've been spreading the word about your channel. If you have any old flathead 5hp Briggs i would love to see how they compare to the new engines everyone is using today since they used to be the most popular engines back in the day.

      Thanks! We used to race the flathead Briggs back in the 1980's . Back then we ran Horstman billet parts with Tillotson carburetors on methanol. Fun times. I dont have a flathead Briggs now but would like to pick one up again.

    Wildcat cylinder head has different angle valves and awesome ports with a lot of meat for porting. Also has a round exhaust exit,not a d shape. Great stuff

    For a 196cc trailmaster, do you recommend a 22, 24, 28mm carb? Header pipe is all that's done.

    Hey how's it going currently building a 212cc Powerfist minibike just wondering what your opinion about chain size 35 40 41? Also best ratio for clutch to sprocket thanks! Love your content

    • @Black66
      @Black66  Год назад +1

      I like 35 chain for the small bikes and 40 or 420 for the bigger bikes. RLV Gold on Gold or Gold on Black chain is good. Nailing down a ratio would depend on tire height, rider weight engine mods and what you want the bike to do. Like top speed , low end or somewhere in the middle.

    I noticed a decent power increase going to a 26mm Nibbi on my 236cc engine. The 24mm has such great drivability around the yard and on trails.
    Building a 3 incher, 263cc, will try a 28mm Nibbi.

      When you ran your 24mm nibbi what did you go with for jetting, I was running a real keihin 24mm but the idle screw housing broke. The guts are slightly different and the main jet besides that and the bottom cap they look like an exact copy. That being said I'm not sure where to start with jetting I'm at basically sea level.

    I have a question u think the mega moto 80 or would the 212 frame work better think would fit a Honda grom style motor with alittle fab work comes with 5 speed clutch and all looking to do something different everyone in there brother has a Honda grom I can’t find anyone who’s done it yet u proably know more about the Coleman style bikes more than anyone I know though I’d ask

    • @Black66
      @Black66  Год назад

      I think either would work but the 212 frame definitely will have more room to work with. With teh 212 frame you might have to fab up the rear wheel with the sprocket on the opposite side.
