I've used ROKU for years. I have yet to be disappointed. Thank you for keeping us updated Luke. BTW, I really enjoy Hoopla from my public library. I also have Kanopy, but don’t use it as much.
Hi. Is it possible to watch NBA or MLS for soccer, somehow? Thanks very much.
Pluto commercial are too long
And the same three ones ad nauseum.
TUBI is MY NO.# 1!
Tyrojames9937 I love Tubitv and several other websites....
Thank you for the great information. I had most of these except Xumo and Kanopy.
Pluto has way too many ads. Tubi is much better.
Tubi is fantastic
Agreed.
Agreed.
You Da MAN Luke!! Excellent suggestions. I have all of them and watch them all the time.
Roku is the best. It's easy to use, great selection, and new channels keep coming out.
Hey Luke, I just got Roku. Will I need to use an antenna in order to get my weekly shows that I watched when I had cable? There are new episodes coming on now and I will miss not seeing them. Thank you. I am still very new to all this.
Roku,Tubi, Pluto, PBS and PBS kids, Fawesome, filmrise, CW are the free apps i have on my tv. But i mostly watch Tubi or RUclips.
Tubi is the best! Currently rewatching Babylon 5 there.
I have to admit I did brought the latest ultra which I really didn’t like Roku devices but after they let put the smarters app and ibo player it’s a step in the right direction as far as making the device your own
There is more to "apps" then just streaming channels. One of Roku's biggest problems has always been it's lack of games, productivity apps, and basically anything other than streaming. Heck, they even call their version of the app store, "Channel store."
If Roku only had the ability to sideload other types of apps, or even (dare I say it) cooperated with app developers instead of stubbornly resisting them...
On my TV it is You Tube and Tubi #1 in my spot 😊
My opinion is that Roku “channels” should not be categorized as “apps”.
💯 🎯 💯
Roku Channel is just like Pluto - an Ad Supported TV.
@@rziulek Maybe I should have been more clear, I'm not talking about the roku channel channel, I'm talking about all the streaming services shouldn't be referred to as apps. I don't think you can correlate Netflix or Tubi to Instagram, FB or TikTok, which are applications in the sense they require input to get output, where as streaming is basically output.
@@vmoutsop how do they know what you want to stream? INPUT
@ Hence the distinction that streaming companies should be referred as “channels” and a game or a browser, etc… is an “app”.
Hello there‼️ Does anyone know why my Roku tv says it doesn’t have enough space for my RUclips (Premiun)
LOL.. Earnest Saves Christmas is classified as a "TOP OF THE LINE BLOCKBUSTER" movie hahaha
The problem with Pluto is you can pretty much tell the time of day by what's playing.. because they have limited numbers of the shows and you see the same thing over and over again
I don't watch Pluto channel anymore for that reason. It's such a waste.
I tried watching a Spanish movie on Pluto. In order to watch streaming. I had to create an account. After that, the subtitles were in Spanish! No English. Then, there about 20 commercials. I thought they would never end. After that, I gave up. Pluto just seems backwards. Tubi any day.
Yes always
Is there a free version of the NFL premium channels?
Do these channels allow you to pause live content and or on demand your viewing and come back and fast forward to catch up to present or to fast forward through a boring or uninteresting part?
Not for LIve channels, they are just like tuning into a channel on cable...
Roku Channel and Tubi
FYI: Luke, you only did 9 of th 10. You skipped over Zeam. You started on the top row and did those two and then you proceeded left right on the next two rows from left to right. 2+4+4 = 10 however you skipped over Zeam! Keep up the good work and don’t worry about missing that one 🥰👍🇺🇸
I have a Roku app on my phone I like all of them.
I don’t have xumo on my Roku for some reason
Wish LG would come out with a Roku TV
I would rather TVs didnt come with this stuff, just bring your own
Just buy the player 40.00 for life
Pluto TV still not available in Puerto Rico.
Get a VPN .. opens up the world to your
@@robtucker6303 I know my internet company router doesn’t allow changing settings
My freevee still works
6 days later ?
Mine is still working too. 👍
it will be shutting down in the next few weeks
Can this be used with a VPN for us living abroad?
"Ernest Saves Christmas" is a top of the line blockbuster movie? Does anyone but you believe that?
Roku is the best because it has the fewest commercials. I love your channel and subscribe on every video like you say but I noticed I’m not always subscribed. Not sure what’s going on there
You subscribe 1 time. If you keep hitting subscribe maybe you are unsubscribing and dont realize?
Samsung and Xfinity X1 also TCL Bring into Roku Tv 2025
I bought a Roku stick back in the summer but I haven’t used it yet. Will it have all of these new features or do I need to buy a more updated one?
Roku updates provided on average 3 - 5 years. I have Roku from 2016 that still update. As long as it's attached to internet & electricity, it will automatically look for updates daily.
@ thank you!
You said feebee shut down well that's not true I still have mine
it is shutting down over the next few weeks
Mine shut down quite some time ago
You still need an internet connection.
Unless you have a cell phone. Then you don’t need internet
@@johnurban7333 cell data is internet
With how OTA is going, you will still need an internet connection
Tubi # 1
Tubi is beyond beyond beyond awesome. Not mentioned, OSI74 is the best thing since sliced bread, add that!
OSI74
I've never used Roku
you should double check your facts before publicly stating them... ie. Freebee..jmo
It was announced mid November that Amazon will fold Freevee into Prime
it is shutting down in a few weeks
Mine shut down months ago
Google TV > Roku
I don’t wanna say that and I don’t wanna be rude one freeve is Not shut down and either is Disney what you’re trying to say is a lie I don’t wanna be rude, but that’s the way it is. I haven’t looked up after breakfast.
Except you are being rude. Freevee hasn’t shut down at my house either but according to Amazon it will be folded into Prime. This was announced mid November.
Yes & No it will be folded in to Prime, the standalone app is going bye bye. Yes your being rude on purpose, I can hear the snark from here.
@@thistlemoon1 LOL when people say they don't want to be rude there is a 100 percent chance that they are being rude.
It’s been months since I’ve been able to use that so he’s not lying
