"Trust me,ROKU isn't as great as they want you to think, for one you miss out on some of the top sporting events,if you want all the major networks, you'll have to have a bunch of different names services,it's more recorded, and re-run shows, and movies than anything...everything's too expensive, but ya still might want to stick with cablevision! ( Although ALL these services run off the internet,soooo...)
Roku was my first streaming experience until they decided to remove numerous streaming apps that were installed and were my most favorite. That's when I migrated to FireStick. However, every time they upgraded their firmware, I had to make numerous tweaks to get the system working the way I originaly modified it. I finally tapped out and purchased an NVIDIA Shield Pro. Now I truly feel the cord has been cut from all corporate influence. I'm no longer treated like a child. I can watch what I want and my apps and system aren't constantly screwed with.

Great list of apps 🙂. Choosing which Roku player to get is just as tricky imo. I ended up with the 4k Roku Ultra. It has a USB 3.0 port on the back, which allows me to play local media on my USB C monitor from my flash drive, and it's the only one that has a case for it to. So I can literally just stick it to the back of my portable monitor, and carry it with me wherever I go. It's basically like having a TV you can throw in a bookbag and take with you where you go lol.
I have two previous Roku models, I would upgrade to this if I need a replacement down the line. The only thing I would benefit from at this point is "A rechargeable remote" and "Remote locate" Private listening I don't need. My conventional battery remote eats new batteries every two weeks, consequently I recommend using rechargeable batteries if you don't need the ULTRA.
I spent the pandemic year ripping my extensive DVD collection to disk; I now have about 7 TB of movies and TV shows available - and I haven't fired up my DVD player in almost three years. If you do this - by default you get a yellow 'folder' icon for directories and a blue 'file' icon for the video (titles are shown for both). If there is an image (jpg, gif, or png) called 'folder' in the directory, it displays in place of the yellow 'folder' icon. Images with the same name as the video will display in place of the blue 'file' icon. For example, goldfinger.png will display as the icon for goldfinger.mp4.

Thank you. Do I need to be paying anything?
Can't seem to find how to watch Peacock for free - I can only access the two paid tiers. Perhaps this changed since this video was made.
This is a great review that I really needed to expand the possibilities which I don’t need to pay for. Thanks!
Thanks for the information 👍 very helpful
Hello,Do you have a Roku channels or are you considering creating one?
Roku was my first streaming experience until they decided to remove numerous streaming apps that were installed and were my most favorite. That's when I migrated to FireStick. However, every time they upgraded their firmware, I had to make numerous tweaks to get the system working the way I originaly modified it. I finally tapped out and purchased an NVIDIA Shield Pro. Now I truly feel the cord has been cut from all corporate influence. I'm no longer treated like a child. I can watch what I want and my apps and system aren't constantly screwed with.
Yeah I have been thinking the same thing.
Nice Video...I'm a Tubi Nut😂I Have Peacock And Pluto But Never Really Looked Into Pluto That Much And As For Your Bottom Free Roku TV Apps I Will Definitely Check Them Out!!!Thanks Again!!!FYI-We All LOVE Free Stuff,Whether We're Rich,Comfortable Or Poor So...If It's Free It's For Me Works For Everyone!!!💪🏾🎧🎬📺🖥💻📷🔍Your Video Was Very Informative And Also Entertaining,Not Boring As Some Can Be!!! #KeepDoinYourThing ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Great information!
Love this info. Thanks so much
The only thing I hate about youtube is the amount of ads it's sometimes a lot for a video. Otherwise it's useable but I'm a tech guy so I just used revanced
What's revanced?
I didn't realize just how tuned-in I was.
Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for sharing.
Awesome video....just subbed👍 Do you know how to set up a favorite list on Tubi with live channels like I am able to on Pluto? I sent them an email and they have not responded back...you can do this with movies not live tv. I don't want to have to scroll up and down the entire guide for the 6-8 channels I watch everytime. Thanks in advance for the response.
Very informative. Thank you so much. :)
Thanks for that info it was very helpful 😊
Thank you. I am new to Roku and your video was very helpful.
I loooove Roku! Started years ago with a 15 dollar stick, finally got a Roku Tv.
I don’t need a boyfriend for entertainment.
Wow, Dude this was excellent. I've just begun researching ways to cut my cable. I have been with Comcast over 10 years. They just increased my bill to $224.00 per month. I have TV, internet and phone. Time to cut the cable cord. I purchased a roku express. I have been trying to learn how to use it and thanks to your review I am well on my way. BTW, can you recommend a live TV antenna for my local news channels and a way to record tv shows now that I won't have the DVR from comcast? Thanks.
To save shows on freevee do you have to be an Amazon customer? I have tried saving but am having problems.
I used to love The Last Starfighter 😊
Very useful information, thank you.
I'm new to streaminng and would like to know where to to find the TODAY SHOW AT 7 am Monday thru Friday , thank you

Awesome video thanks for sharing. I just purchased my first smart tv. It's a Roku tv. How do I get prime-time movies from ABC & NBC for free? Also, how do I download these apps to my TV? I can not find Amazon Prime either. How do I find Amazon Prime? Thumbs up to your videos. Thank you.
Can add an antenna to access for free or subscribe to a paid streaming service.
You forgot the OG Crackle! Lol I only bring them up because I remember it before any of the other free ones came out.
Gosh, Crackle has been around since you had to download apps and load them to your Roku box.😂😂
I'm going to search for it too.
I'm new to Roku. Is there a way to watch on your android phone?
Awesome feedback 👍 thanks for the assistance
I am an Old Rock music Concerts freek . Which apps could let me watch Old / New broadcasted concerts from bands like Who, Kinks, U2, Simon & Garfunkel, ...
Thank You
Ok,so I’m blown away from this awsome bit of info you served up here for us.thank you soooo much.I’ve had Roku tv for about 3 years and I never ever even knew I had live tv on it,wow I’m totally blown away,so new subscriber and loved this video, for sure
How much of these apps will work if you don't have cable, and wifi? If all you have is an antenna?
Great tutorial I am new here thank you so much
Great list of apps 🙂.
Just ordered my roku, haven't received it yet but looking forward to it!

Thanks for the info new subscriber
