Storyline:
While attending a gaudy carnival with their girlfriends, Joe and Hoss Cartwright are plunged into a baffling mystery when Joe's sweetheart (Jackie Russell) disappears. Determined to locate the missing girl, Joe is forced to venture into the very special and secret world of the "carnies", who resent his intrusion and do everything they can to throw roadblocks in his path. Gerald Mohr guest-stars as the carnival's sinister owner; also on hand is another reliable TV-series heavy, Theo Marcuse. Written on rottentomatoes.com
Reviews:
"One of the better episodes of Bonanza that I have seen.Very, original in the storyline, about carnival people.Held my interest, all the way through.Daisy the fat lady, got me wondering about her acting ability which was quite flat, and who she was,a real carnival performer or what? The Lady who went missing was adventurous, bored with her life, and wanted some excitement, which she certainly got,but not the type she bargained for.The Strongman was of interest too,did he wrestle in real life? I also noticed he died,at quite a young age.I always, love the integrity of the Cartwright boys, they have so much class, honour, and respect, not to mention, good manners. The straight forward stories are a breath of fresh air, compared to today's programming..." "Little Joe and Hoss plan on having a night at the carnival with two pretty girls. But when Della Thompson gets wonderlust, she gets herself into deep trouble. She toys with people by flirting endlessly and hinting that she wants more out of life. What follows is a night that was a little more wild then either Cartwright boy was planning.
This is one of the "lighter" side of life episodes. It's not all jokes, but there is lots of laughs in it. Unfortunately, it also has a serious side which means death for some...
A fat lady, a bearded lady, and a pretty lady are among the case of the carnival.

I don't see why Pernell Roberts couldn't make guest appearances as Adam in future seasons after he quit.😮😅
This is one of the few Bonanza episodes to not have either Lorne Greene or the Cartwright ranch house in it.
Greene was in the opening scene.
WOW !!!!!! An episode that actually finished. That's because it has a different sponsor.
Thanks a lot for uploading and sharing this old series.
Best regards luck and health.
Little joe had a better figure than some of the girls ♥️💕🤣😁😁😁😁😁😁
Leave poor Daisy alone.
The girl was abducted for a million dollar ransom, were there millionaires in the 1880's?
@@williegordon9236 $1,000,000 in 1880 is equivalent in purchasing power to about $28,344,019.61 today, an increase of $27,344,019.61 over 142 years. The dollar had an average inflation rate of 2.38% per year between 1880 and today, producing a cumulative price increase of 2,734.40%.
This means that today's prices are 28.34 times higher than average prices since 1880, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics consumer price index. A dollar today only buys 3.528% of what it could buy back then.

Roudin the Great Mystic from Star Trek!
Thank you for sharing this series. Really helps me relax. Cheers!
This is the best episode of Bonaza showing how Little Joe &'Hoss Cartwight always mange to get into any trouble 😵💫 alongside with thier 2 Female Bellydancing 👑 Queens who are Alia Mohammed & Cassandra Fox.
I like Hoss the best
Now here's a real comment!
I like Joe better
More exciting than a real freak show
That's one of my favourite Bonanza episodes ♥️
Well not mine😮😮😮😮
@@masungukafoa1454 Everyone is allowed to have their favourites, right? 😉
Which episodes rank among your best Bonanza episodes? It's hard to say because there are so many good episodes.
My favourite episode, so funny🤣
Very good 👍🏽👌🏽 thanks
Welcome 😊
I’m Bonanas for Bonanza 😂
Joe got a psyco girlfriend this time!
And she is really not even that pretty. Hoss' girl is actually much more attractive.
That was a fun episode!
Joe's face at 33:08!
And would your expressions any different? 🤣😂😅
@@user-pd7il3xz5jDefinitely not.
Just because she has more beard than him
Here's a hint Joe-- when 4 tough guys approach you threateningly, DRAW YOUR GUN! Duh.
There's no pride in that
Only if they draw first.
He likes to scrap too much
16:10 "This is a sharp knife" as he presses it against her skin and it does nothing
I like that it does nothing. If filmed today there would be "blood" running down her neck. Today everything on tv, in the movies, and video games is so realistic. People become desensitized to blood and violence. Let the knife be dull, fine by me.
It cheats and deceives, hope nobody tried this with a real sharp knife

This comment thread is full of city slickin' vampires!
The beginning kind of reminds me of "The Seven Faces of Dr. Lao."
I should really watch that
@@AbrasiousProductions It's a very strange movie. It's almost like sci-fi but set in the 1800s west.
@@SunRabbit I heard about it through James Rolfe's review of it, I'm a film critic too so I might watch it
It is ok👍👌🤩😁😁
?
Who played the Bearded Lady?
A man with a dress on :-)
@@mikeminno5956 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂👍
It was no man with a dress on. It was a woman with a beard on.
@@3Ddude101 haha true
@@3Ddude101 Take away the beard and moustache she's a hottie. 🔥🔥
Hercules has a rather high pitched voice.

That girl is so annoying
Hoss,joe Cartwright brother girlfriend show
Ben Cartwright and Adam Cartwright homes
So the "fat lady" , not a nice idea, just sits there all day. Even after the show is over?
😂😂😂
She sits and she sits except to go take a BLEEP, funnel cakes and pronto pups is her favorite feast!
I bet she died shortly after of diabetic complications - metabolic syndrome. She ate too many carbs, sugars and seed oils...
She died aged 40. Mary Orozco. Ate too many carbs.
@@adelarsen9776/videosSad but not surprising.
So many failures in this one it's not even worth naming them all.
They make it hard to take this one serious.

Trump would be right at home selling his snakeoil to the gullible audience in a carnival.
I'm grateful that trump gave my community actual legislation that in powered us. Like being the first present ever to mandate HBCU funding. That Joe Biden stripped from us a total of 45 million. Trump wrote more black legislation for us than any Democrat in the past 10 years including Obama. This is why black men voted for him and they will next time too. But you're not ready for that conversation. Because Biden didn't tell your culture if we don't vote for him then we're not black. Enjoy your privilege liberal.
@@TheUzamaki1234 Trump is an malignant narcisist who hates everyone, especially himself (and I am with him on that).
Could care less while he's right policy to empower my community to do greater things he can say whatever. Policy over emotions.

There was nothing horrible about the acting
