I'm so sorry that this band started to go down the serious and different way in the last couple of years; this style of their music really helped me to lift up my spirit from everyday problems and now they mostly sing about things i'm trying to forget, like Greta, the enviroment, how there is a rich and poor divide in our modern world, racism etc.
I wish they would go back to singing in german about beer, dwarves, pagan gods and epic battles :'(

Eine scene verstört mich etwas keiner würde wagen im wirtshaus so hart anzustoßen dass er dieses heilige elixir verschüttet
Früher hast du so hart angestoßen, also bevor getrunken wurde, dass das Bier aus den Krügen sich vermischt hat.
Warum? Dass das eventuelle Gift nun in beiden Bierkrügen war.
Das ist die Theorie mit dem überschwappen.
Weitere Theorien besagen, dass es früher vom Reichtum des Gastgebers gezeugt hat, wenn er allen Gästen Gläser anbieten konnte.

Ich glaube, da liegen Sie falsch. Der ursprüngliche Zwecks des Anstoßens war es, dass die Krüge überschwappten und sich - wenn auf nur wenige Tropfen - miteinander vermischten. Auf diese Weise sollte verhindert werden, dass jemand der Getränk des anderen vergiftet.

Live der absolute Hammer! Das "...bitte!" ist bei uns auf dem Rockharz absoluter Running-gag geworden. Höre die Jungs seit Turis Fratyr. Im Vergleich zum mäßigen Rekreatur ist Erdentempel wieder hochklassig z.B. mit "Was lange währt", "Waldschrein" oder "Karawane" ... Und dieser Song hier macht einfach Spaß, vor allem Live. Sollte man alles nicht so eng sehen. Auch wenn Sagas das Highlight bleibt, ist Erdentempel wirklich hervorragend geworden. Und wer bei "Apokalypse" keine Gänsehaut bekommt, dem ist auch nicht mehr zu helfen...

Nur dieses mal ist es mit einem bayrischen Folksmusik Hintergrund. Dass das nicht jedem gefällt ist mir klar, nur, das ganze als "Scheißdreck" darzustellen ist eine schwache Leistung und zeugt nur von wenig Akzeptanz für "andere Dinge" deinerseits ;)
