Cobra Kai is an American martial arts comedy-drama streaming television series and a sequel to the Karate Kid's original movie directed by Robert Mark Kamen. The series was created by Josh Heeld, John Harwitz, Hayden Schlossberg, and Ralph Macchio and William Zabka, who repeated their roles as Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence in the 1984 movie The Karate Kid. Thirty-four years later, the Cobra Kai examines the story of "Miyagi Verse" from Johnny's point of view, his decision to reopen the Cobra Kai Karate Dojo, and the resurgence of his old competition with Daniel. The Cobra Kai also plays Courtney Henggeler, Xolo Mariduena, Tanner Buchanan, Mary Mouser, Jacob Bertrand, Gianni Dechenzo, Martin Kove, Vanessa Rubio and Peyton List. This series boasts high ratings on both RUclips and Netflix and has received widespread positive reviews from critics. The third season was also nominated for an "Outstanding Comedy Series" at the 73rd Primetime Emmy Awards. The first season started on RUclips Red in 2018 and the second season continued in 2019. After the production of the third season was completed, RUclips decided to stop producing the original scripted show and leave the show without a house. Netflix acquired the series in June 2020 and released the third season on January 1, 2021. Netflix expanded the series to the fourth season, released on December 31, 2021. The fourth season of the Cobra Kai was released on Netflix on December 31, 2021 and consists of 10 episodes. This series is a direct sequel to the four original films of The Karate Kid franchise, focusing on the characters of Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence, more than 30 years after the original film. Following the first two seasons on RUclips, Netflix will release the second season. There are 12 protagonists in the season, nine of which are back from the previous season, two are added to the main cast after being repeated in the previous season, and one is a newcomer to the series that repeats the role from the franchise. John Kreese, known magnanimously as Kreese, is the main antagonist of The Karate Kid film franchise and Cobra Kai. Kreese is a cruel, vicious, and unhinged Vietnam War veteran and sensei of the 1980s karate dojo, Cobra Kai. He instilled a dangerous philosophy of "no mercy" in his students and encouraged generations of bullies. Most notably, Kreese taught karate to a teenaged Johnny Lawrence and feuded with his karate rival Mr Miyagi. After repeated losses at the hands of Daniel LaRusso and Mr Miyagi, Kreese fled the valley and lost contact with his students. Over thirty years later, Johnny Lawrence reopened Cobra Kai, triggering Kreese to make a surprise return to the valley. He eventually acquires the dojo through nefarious means, becoming the Sensei to an entirely new generation of students. With his rivals teaming up, Kreese seeks out his old Army friend Terry Silver to help Cobra Kai prepare for the All Valley Karate Tournament. As hostilities continue to flare between the rival dojos, Kreese plays the angles to get into his opponents’ heads. After Cobra Kai's victory in the tournament, Kreese is betrayed by Silver, who Silver framed for the assault of Stingray. Terrance "Terry" Silver is the secondary antagonist of The Karate Kid franchise, serving as the main antagonist of The Karate Kid Part III and the overarching antagonist of the RUclips Red/Netflix television series Cobra Kai, serving as a mentioned character in the first two seasons, the deuteragonist of the flashback arc in Season 3, one of the two main antagonists (alongside John Kreese) of Season 4 and will return as the main antagonist of Season 5. He was an acquaintance of John Kreese from his military days and easily his closest friend. He is also the head of DynaTox Industries, the sponsor of the All Valley Karate Tournament and the antithesis of Daniel LaRusso. He and Kreese train Mike Barnes in an effort to defeat Daniel after him and Mr. Miyagi defeated Kreese's dojo Cobra Kai. Years later, Silver is called by Kreese to help him after Kreese takes over control of Cobra Kai again, as Kreese wants him to help in his vendetta against LaRusso and his former student Johnny Lawrence. He is Daniel's archenemy and tormentor.

Kreese is honestly the main reason of a lot of stuff that happens in Cobra Kai and I honestly feel bad for Terry he is clearly traumatized by the war and wants to live a peaceful life but his trauma and the fact that he was saved by Kreese is being used against him is honestly very sick and very despicable of Kreese, Terry was always used by Kreese and when he released the devil that was Og Terry Kreese didn’t know how uncontrollable he actually is and actually released a monster worse than him

If this was real life, I would have to say that Johnny Lawrence should never have starred in cobra Kai in the first place. Kreese was living in a homeless shelter, while Terry Silver was living a peaceful life in his mansion. No rivalries would have risen between the kids. The only thing is that Miguel would have continued to be bullied by Kyler in his bully friends. Also, Aisha would’ve continued to be made fun of by Yasmin. Of course, Johnny starting cobra Kai back up again did some good things, but then he brought Kreese back to life, which then led to craze taking over, which then led him to waking up Terrance Silver and then turning him back into Terry Silver.

its just whos the lesser of two evils. kreese's cobra kai is less emotionally damaging, but still obviously traumatized johnny and his gang. the best cobra kai is the one that makes the little suburban boys and girls the happiest, because at the end of the day it is all just karate its an after school hobby, so johnnys is the best. if he wasn't feuding with daniel or kreese didn't come back, then it would have been perfect. miguel, aisha, and hawk make friends and gain confidence, and kids like tory would get a positive role model. if only...

That was the reason Terry pushed him away at first, because when he saw his face again he knew why John is there. And after he is redeemed he didn't want to return on past mistakes and John pushed him too much. But you can take this madness they teach and turn into something good, it's all depend on the person who trains under them and most of them are bad.

Before Terry Silver started going back to his old ways in episode 8 of season 4, I didn’t feel like his way of Karate was dishonorable, unlike with Kreese. With Kreese’s way of turning anger into a weapon, he would make his students become asshole soldiers, especially because I believe anger is more of an offensive weapon. With Terry Silver though, how he described his way of Karate by only using it at the tournament where it matters, finding characteristic flaws in fighters, and using fear as a weapon, he would make his students become like warriors, especially because I believe that fear is more of a defensive weapon. But by the time we get to episode 8 and onwards at the end of season 4 and throughout season 5, Terry Silver would change his Karate style so that it would make his students become asshole warriors.

I feel like it’s Kreese’s fault for bringing old Terry back, but at the end of the day, Terry did still have his old self hidden inside of him. He blames his old nature on drugs, but he snapped just like that. Kreese may be harsh, but he does bad things because he genuinely thinks they are right, Terry, when he’s in Terry mode, just does things to be evil. I think it’s the fault of Kreese for making Terry this way, however in Terry’s eyes Kreese is doing these bad things just to be superior, he doesn’t know Kreese has an actual reason for it, so due to poor communication, Kreese does what he does because he’s trying to help people, Terry does what he does because he thinks he right, a lack of communication has caused this difference. If Kreese expressed to Terry his true intentions, maybe Terry would be the same amount of cruel, but with more reasons. They are both at fault, and have caused each other to be in their own situation.

Y’all got it all wrong Terry been a bad guy since the beginning Lmaoo like what?? You don’t have to trigger somebody To bring out something that was already there I strongly believe Daniel would have Brung terry out the wood works anyways If his team won the tournament and terry caught wind of it With or without Krease The snake would have been slithering in Cobra Kai’s establishment regardless!

Not at all. Terry wanted to do things the legit way. Kreese kept stomping it out for his own benefit. It wasn't until Kreese brought back Terry's debt to him that Terry started reissuing the "quicksilver" method of fighting too. Terry showed no signs of being evil until Kreese gradually pushed him back to his old self.

@@onemuststand7353 Bro you can’t make someone evil He’s been evil & already had a plan too takeover Crobra Kai You gonna see in this new season it’s gonna be explained

@@eviltwn You can absolutely make someone evil. Evil isn't a base standard. It's created and nurtured. If you treat someone like trash, you can't expect them to remain a good person. People react different ways on how they're treated. If a man murders a killer because the killer killed the man's daughter, does that mean the man was evil all along? No. And it's really really stupid to think so.
