That squad was nuts. Luckily the 49ers and Seahawks had defenses that could match up. Niners for those liked to run(Navarro Bowman and Justin Smith were wrecking balls in the defense) and the Seahawks for those who were more pass happy(solid pressure and a god tier secondary at the time). The Broncos had a pretty good front 7 for stopping the run as well.

Phil is a beast. I've watched his whole career, and when he has a decent o-line he is capable of making all the throws and plays. He will finally have a home field advantage and a decent D in the Colts and their top tier offensive line. People say he can't throw and is in decline, we will see whats what when the season begins. Brandon zahal that’s mainly due to Kelly misusing Vick. That team with Vick could have gone deep into the playoffs and never did.
I won’t get on Foles simply because I think he’s the best QB for the Eagles then and now. No clue why they keep pushing Wentz on people for.

Man, how time flies! Gates was still shifty and made people miss, holy crap he looked so agile! And Rivers was still young lol with his fav pass catching RB, Woodhead and Hardwick as his center chucking it deep over the middle to the the humblest and nicest WR Malcom Floyd! Loved it. I miss these old times, I felt in love with that team. Plus Matthews driving me nuts because he fumbled so much lol but actually I liked him!
I still remember like it was yesterday. Floyed killed them in the first half with the post routes (i think he almost had over a 100 yards) but got injuried because of a nasty hit while going over the middle right before half time. He injuried his neck and could not move at first. I was so sad. But than a rookie 3 round pick named Keenan Allen, who thought about quiting because he didnt get playing time, stepped in a had an amazing rookie year from there on.
The rest is history and Keenan is a baller!

McCoy was unstoppable in 2013. Stayed healthy all year, led the league in rushing...averaged 5.1 ypc and had over 1.600 rush yards (or 100 yards rushing per game) and over 2,140 all purpose yards. SHADY!

I remember everyone on /sp/ was talking about this prophecy where the last 4 or 5 teams that beat Philly in their home opener went on to win the Super Bowl. We wound up having a weird year but came into week 17 with a slim chance at playoffs. The dominoes fell in the right way and we got in with a win over KC at 9-7. From there /sp/ went ballistic with many laughing and carrying on and many eventually decrying the thought of SD winning because "the level of autism on /sp/ would be so high that it would be a 3 week wait minimum before it died down.
    Good times!

Oh my mistake. You meant Philip Rivers by the word"Phil". I thought it was short for Philadelphia. And I just realize Philip is a colt now so I'm ignorant. Doubt it he'll take Jacoby brissett starting spot
