      @doloresguyer4466 3 года назад +1

      @ Greekwarrior5373, I agree. People are quick to downplay his ability . But had he the stability in his career that most QB's have he would have been up there with some of the greats with the kind of records he matched or set. But Kelly screwed his career up by sending him to the pathetic St Lewis Rams for Sam Bradford. Believing they were getting a gem. When what they got was an injury-prone QB.
      Even in 2014 though Nick's TD/INT ratio wasn't anywhere near what 2013 was, he still had a 6-2 record before being injured with his first collarbone injury. He had no one to protect him on that O-line. Peters was out with his Achilles injury. He let Herrimans go, and another line player (can't recall his name at the moment) go over a contract dispute. I often wondered how much those moves were done so that Nick couldn't continue to grow in his NFL career because he really didn't like him. Vick had left for the Jets I think it was, so he had his eyes on Bradford once Vick was gone

    • @doloresguyer4466
      @doloresguyer4466 5 лет назад +2

      Nick will always be doubted...even after proving himself it doesn't change the perceptions , opinions . MVP Pro Bowl and MVP Super Bowl and 7 TD's in a game has a 100 or better QBR in every post season game except his last against the Saints...a 27-2 TD/INT ratio in a season. But all anyone talks about is the season he had in St Lewis like that one season trumps everything positive he has achieved. Nick's not flashy, he's not in your face ... He also set a record this passed season by completing 25 consecitove passes. That 2013 season he had 19 TD's before he threw a single INT and he only threw 2 that season. He took te Eagles to the Post Season that year too. Had them in the lead, with under 2 mins remaining in the game...when the Eagles allowed Sproles to take the return to mid field. All Drew needed was one first down and he was in FG range.. they ended up winning. Nick out played Drew in that one, but Drrew out played Nick in the game this passed season.
