You are so right. I greatly admire Foles and all he has overcome. Tough being an Eagle fan - I love Wentz & all he has done for the Eagles, but I also love this guy Foles. His character is unmatched. Wherever he goes, I will always root for him.
Drunk of Air Right, unfortunately, most Philly fans think Wentz is the better option. They have no problem benching their Super Bowl MVP. In 52 years they will still be wondering why they have only one Lombardi Trophy.
My dad is in the late stages of ALS and I got to sit with him and watch the Eagles win a freakin' Superbowl thanks to this man, so I'd cry thankfully too if I met him
Congratulations to Nick Foles from a Patriots fan. He is beaming. Unfortunately, the Patriots lost but it's a great news story for Foles. Brady was in a very similar situation in 2002. Unfortunately, Brady couldn't see the similarities and find it in himself to personally congratulate Foles. Perhaps one day he will personally reach out to Foles and acknowledge his accomplishment.
I was kind of hoping that 9th street would be renamed Foles Avenue and we'd put the statue at Foles and Market. Maybe a little over the top, but I'd be okay with it :)
No one can ever take that superbowl away. It was awesome. Congratulations to Nick. Hes a good guy too. Very happy for his success. He never gave up during the tough times and look at him now.
Thank-you, Carson Wentz! For getting Foles the chance too finish you're good work! Foles , Great job all the same! Eagles win the superbowl! job well done Wentz, Got it done, Foles!
Mike Cotter: It does sound strange but no Eagles fan was glad Carson got hurt. But we are all glad Nick stepped up and played better than even Carson would have against the Vikings and Patriots. Heck, he outplayed Joe Montana in those two games. Could not have played any better!
I'm still in shock too. I've bought and worn two Super Bowl Champ tees already, my laptop wallpaper is changed to World Champions and still i'm like "did THIS really happen???" Lol
Believe it. I know this type of thing rarely ever happens in Philly, but this one did. The story attached to it and the epic party that followed was insane. I will never get over Jaworski throwing 3 interceptions in SB XV, but this sure helped...
Yes Jimmy is correct, Nick Foles will always be beloved in Philly. He was a big part of bringing us our 1rst super bowl win. I've been in Philly my hole life and a Eagles fan thru the good and bad but I stick with them no matter what. Third time must be the charm. But we finally got one. I'm am so proud of that team. This season will never be forgotten in Philly. People I know around the country don't get why we are do crazy about our sports teams. The only way for them to maybe understand is to spend a few years here and watch the games with some natives at a game or in the spots bars. I look forward to Sundays during football season more then any other day of the year. I spent 5 years in Los Angeles. Sports is so boring compared to here I'm Philly. If a Philly team is in a championship game I recommend you come to Philly and watch it here. You will have the time of your life. Weather it's the Super bowl or the world series or even the Sanley Cup if Philly has a fighting chance to win you will understand why we are so passionate about our teams. I wouldn't want to be a sports fan in any other city in the world. I'm born and raised in Philly and I love our teams and I am proud to be an Eagles fan even when we have a bad season. I bleed green. Thanks Nick and Thanks to coach Pedderson. I am so proud of you guys!!!!!!
As a cowboys fan.. this man is humble... i saw this man play against our high school team in the playoffs when he was with austin westlake high... great win philly
Watching the last 2 superbowls and the last eagles season without you makes me appreciate what a clutch player you are in the post season. You will rise again my brother I pray you come home to philly again someday
Man I love this guy. As a philly fan there is nothing but pride in having him and Wentz as the leaders of this football team. No egos, no off field issues, just good solid human beings. Philly Philly
foles is going to be traded. he's on a 4 year $7.5 million team option, for a superbowl winning starting quarterback. do you realize how valuable a trade piece that is? and he's I would trade him and rodney mcleod to the vikings for harrison smith who's the best saftey in the league and maybe the 3rd best defensive player aftrer jj watt and aaron donald, and smith's contract is a steal
sean daniels that was definitely my first thought..go where the money is..then i thought about it a bit..philly will pay him pretty damn good to be the backup, obviously not as good as starting somewhere else BUT it's likely his career would be a lot longer if he was a backup..he wouldn't have the pressure of going somewhere else and having to prove himself there, or even fill the expectations of another full season like the end of the eagles season..and of course he would stay on a damn good team while being absolutely loved in Philly..It almost seems like definite job security to me..who knows tho! He could want to play and be a starter and get that contract, couldn't blame him for that either! He deserves it for sure. As an eagles fan I would hate to see him go, but I realize he's gotta look out for his own, and i got faith in Wentz. Either way I think Foles is in a damn good spot, but I think staying in Philly wouldn't be as bad of an option as a lot of ppl may think. Might be a bit biased I know haha ...GO EAGLES!!
Thinking like this is why it took 52 years for the Eagles to win a Super Bowl. We finally won, let’s bench the Super Bowl MVP! Enjoy the next 52 years of coming up short.
Jeff Brown yes actually, in this one in a million situation it would be best to bench the Superbowl mvp it sounds crazy yes, but if you watch all of Carson's games, he is just the more versatile qb. He's better, simple as that. You can't forget he's a huge reason why the eagles were in the position they were in do that Foles could do what he did.
Love - I don't want Congress to be compassionate with taxpayer (my) money, they should be respectful and don't put us into a big debt like obama did. Compassion is for people, not governments.
Winning the SB was amazing but he's been the same grounded sincere guy since he first came to town. I hope he stays with the Eagles for as long as he wants. What he did for the city was nothing short of miraculous and he always be a sports hero in this town.
Goddamn, my man Nick Foles. I'm the same age as him, born n raised in Philly.... in 2013 I loved this guy. Was pissed when he got traded (along with my favorite Eagle Desean Jackson)...... all season seen him on the sidelines and thought "damn this dude is just waiting for the chance." He got it and prevailed, in the course of 2 weeks he became my favorite Eagle QB over McNabb. Superbowl MVP, on late night shows. Still cannot believe this.
Foles will forever be known, as the first QB to bring Philly a Lombardi. That's gotta be an awesome feeling! From a Die Hard Eagles fan... Thanks for that Jawn.
Couldn't of happened to a nicer, more down to earth great guy !! Congrats Nick Foles !! I hope you come back to Philly cuz who know how healthy Wentz will be at start of season
See Tom Brady still didn't congratulate Foles yet. But St Nick was so nice to give excuses on behalf of Brady... It's a shame Brady may be the goat but unfortunately an arrogant sore loser -:)
Martin Siitia Right! Throw in Goff and Keenum in as well. Vince Young gotta be thinking “what if I was drafted to another team to start my career besides Fisher’s Titans?”
He is the kind of guy who'd rather see Carson Wentz thrive more than himself, because football is obviously not his main passion. Although if he does stay in the NFL after his contract is up, I hope he ends up on a team that can help him thrive like he did at the end of this season!
foles is going to be traded. he's on a 4 year $7.5 million team option, for a superbowl winning starting quarterback. do you realize how valuable a trade piece that is? and he's I would trade him and rodney mcleod to the vikings for harrison smith who's the best saftey in the league and maybe the 3rd best defensive player after jj watt and aaron donald, and smith's contract is a steal

Inthepastxx The first Super Bowl was in 1966 where the Green Bay Packers won the Super Bowl and then went to the Super Bowl once again the following year allowing the Packers to become the first team to win 2 Super Bowls back to back.
Duval Cooper That's right, and Legarrette Blount and Chris Long are now two of only four players to win back to back Super Bowls with different teams. They won it last year with the Patriots. The other two are Ken Norton, Jr. and Deion Sanders. Norton and Sanders won a Super Bowl together with the Niners in their fifth Super Bowl win. Norton had also won it the previous year with the Cowboys under Jimmy Johnson and Sanders won it in the later year with the Cowboys under Barry Switzer. Norton is also the only player to win three straight Super Bowls with any team, two with the Cowboys and then one with the Niners.
I was rooting like crazy for Brady to get his 6th ring but I can't help but to like this guy...he success early in his career, failed, then worked his way back up...he faced his fears and triumphed...a true warrior...he deserves this moment...much respect
I doubted Nick almost every step of the way since Carson went down for the season, now he's one of my heroes in Eagles football. Thank you Nick for that awesome game especially the Philly Special and I'll be more than proud to wear your jersey with pride!! Fly Eagles Fly!!!
eternally apologetic, even to the dude who snubbed the handshake. I really do think Foles will stay in Philly, as a backup, and be the highest paid backup in history
How he congratulated the eagles and when rodger goodell suspended him for something he had no part of and won the trophy he didnt cus his head off like that one guy in the philly parade
Such a humble, great guy. A true leader
Foles is so humble
You are so right. I greatly admire Foles and all he has overcome. Tough being an Eagle fan - I love Wentz & all he has done for the Eagles, but I also love this guy Foles. His character is unmatched. Wherever he goes, I will always root for him.
Joe: Foles should stay in Philly!
Right? He is a genuinely humble man. You can really tell in his demeanor and responses.
You know who is not most philly fans
Drunk of Air Right, unfortunately, most Philly fans think Wentz is the better option. They have no problem benching their Super Bowl MVP. In 52 years they will still be wondering why they have only one Lombardi Trophy.
Just a likable dude
Foles will literally never have to pay for a meal in Philadelphia
Fred Garvin i know right! He won’t even have to ask.
Fred Garvin especially blowjobs
hell fire exactly we cannot stress that enough.
He's still going to be the backup tho, or move teams
Or a haircut or anything else.
My dad is in the late stages of ALS and I got to sit with him and watch the Eagles win a freakin' Superbowl thanks to this man, so I'd cry thankfully too if I met him
I cried when we won i dont know why but i cried like a baby
Most humble NFL player I’ve seen, he deserves it more than anyone.
Dev Carter that is why Brady is so damn hated
god bless you nick foles god bless you, for helping philly win, we love you all in philly amen
I'm a NE fan but I am happy that such a humble city could win the super bowl
Jose Fernandez Humble? 😅
Jackal
I’m an Eagles fan and even I can agree with that 😂
Thanks man. I wouldn't be mad after 5 Superbowl either, 8 total LoL.
They recked there city
Cole Marano. Realy
How can you not love this guy? It's not often that such a quality athlete and such a quality human being intersect.
The real question is where do we put the Nick Foles statue in Philly?
Lou Miller Right next to the Rocky one.
I was kind of hoping that 9th street would be renamed Foles Avenue and we'd put the statue at Foles and Market. Maybe a little over the top, but I'd be okay with it :)
Remove the rocky statue and put Nick
Do they retire the #9 for Nick as well?
William Penn is gonna have to step aside, Nick Foles will watch over us from the top of City Hall
I'm STILL in shock... So happy we won and Nick Foles came full circle in Philadelphia... We will always love u...
Man I just wish the best for Nick, like for the rest of his life, he’s such a nice dude
Nick Foles is a class act.
What a great overall guy. He knows what’s important to him, his faith and family. We need more men like him.
No one can ever take that superbowl away. It was awesome. Congratulations to Nick. Hes a good guy too. Very happy for his success. He never gave up during the tough times and look at him now.
at least he can catch a ball
henrique garcia ruclips.net/video/UXuZSj9BtJg/видео.html looks similar.
Brady has 5 superbowls. More superbowl wins than AN ENTIRE SPORTS FRANCHISE! But ya, Brady trying to catch that ball proved his age.
Kilmaurs09 keep living in the past new England. This is why your city is falling apart and full of drug addicts
Kilmaurs09 do u want a philly philly ? hahahah
steamingwillybeaming lmao look at the trash city of Philadelphia before you speak on ANY of the city’s in New England
Nick Foles seems so humble and normal. Matthew McConaughey did a wonderful job for Austin and Nick Foles with that great ad.
Thank-you, Carson Wentz! For getting Foles the chance too finish you're good work! Foles , Great job all the same! Eagles win the superbowl! job well done Wentz, Got it done, Foles!
Jazzaconda have another one 🍺
@Gillian Wold, been there, done that! brought, the T-shirt!!
Damn you just thanked my franchise QB for getting hurt, that's not right 😢
Mike Cotter: It does sound strange but no Eagles fan was glad Carson got hurt. But we are all glad Nick stepped up and played better than even Carson would have against the Vikings and Patriots. Heck, he outplayed Joe Montana in those two games. Could not have played any better!
I still can’t believe that we won the super bowl
VaSa Rampage y'all deserve it and it was vs the patriots so it is that much special.
I will never get over Jaworski throwing 3 interceptions in SB XV, but this sure helped...
you didnt, the eagles did
VaSa Rampage you won the super bowl? Wow, congratulations! What position did you play in?
A great, great, genuine person. So proud to be an Eagles fan.

Matthew Izzo you nincompoop.
Nick is such a humble guy, I'm glad the Eagles won
This man saved us from Tom Brady's 6th ring.
Nilesh Kumaraswamy what a life saver.
facts...and brady gave it all he had in that game...I thought brady was gonna do it again..but Nick foles carved up that defense
he'll get it, just give it a year or two.
lol against carson wentz? HAhahahah
I'll reply again...41 year old Brady against 24 year old Carson Wentz?
Nick's haircut has come a long way...
AOB the biggest takeaway from this video.

I Love Nick Foles As a Eagles Fan He's So Nice Too and I Have His New Book "Believe"!
Tom Brady is an ass then. Sportsmanship matters a hell of a lot.
HappyGeekChic he congratulated their rookie after the SB
He did to a couple of eagles players after the game
HappyGeekChic I
tom brady congratulated nick foles after the game, but once you win a game like that, you probably won't remember every interaction

Philly special !!!!!!
.... *awkward staring* yea
Ya Boi i would say focused stare
Amazing.
I was surprised that the QB got to call that play on 4th and goal instead of the OC or HC. That's what I love about football.
So glad Philadelphia won. Foles played a legendary game.
Looks and sounds like a great guy. Happy for him and his family!
Man, I'm so freakin proud of him👏🏽 #StNick
So proud of you Napoleon Dynamite

You're right Jimmy. Nick Foles will always be beloved in Philadelphia. He will never be booed either. Go Birds💚🦅🏈

Foles handles the question with such class
Love Nick
THIS Jimmy, when he laughs after Nick says that fans cry when they meet.............his laugh is infectious.......and real.
He's not going to be starting in Philly if Wentz is healthy. I do hope he stays as our backup QB because he seems comfortable in this system.
He is the kind of guy who'd rather see Carson Wentz thrive more than himself, because football is obviously not his main passion. Although if he does stay in the NFL after his contract is up, I hope he ends up on a team that can help him thrive like he did at the end of this season!
The Breacher If I were him I'd just stay with Eagles as backup. Get them checks without getting hurt.

Jordan Hancock with this talent, i dont think they should waste him as a back-up. They should trade him
Toxic Gaming He's been inconsistent before and maybe he just plays better under this system. He's been with Doug for a long time now and understands his position as a backup.

He takes after his coach.
How he congratulated the eagles and when rodger goodell suspended him for something he had no part of and won the trophy he didnt cus his head off like that one guy in the philly parade
People make all kinds of excuses for Brady, Brady is truly a sore looser.
At times? More like all the time.
So here's the thing about calling somebody a "loser", you should probably know how to spell the word before you call somebody one first LMAO
