      You are so right. I greatly admire Foles and all he has overcome. Tough being an Eagle fan - I love Wentz & all he has done for the Eagles, but I also love this guy Foles. His character is unmatched. Wherever he goes, I will always root for him.

      Drunk of Air Right, unfortunately, most Philly fans think Wentz is the better option. They have no problem benching their Super Bowl MVP. In 52 years they will still be wondering why they have only one Lombardi Trophy.

    Congratulations to Nick Foles from a Patriots fan. He is beaming. Unfortunately, the Patriots lost but it's a great news story for Foles. Brady was in a very similar situation in 2002. Unfortunately, Brady couldn't see the similarities and find it in himself to personally congratulate Foles. Perhaps one day he will personally reach out to Foles and acknowledge his accomplishment.

    Yes Jimmy is correct, Nick Foles will always be beloved in Philly. He was a big part of bringing us our 1rst super bowl win. I've been in Philly my hole life and a Eagles fan thru the good and bad but I stick with them no matter what. Third time must be the charm. But we finally got one. I'm am so proud of that team. This season will never be forgotten in Philly. People I know around the country don't get why we are do crazy about our sports teams. The only way for them to maybe understand is to spend a few years here and watch the games with some natives at a game or in the spots bars. I look forward to Sundays during football season more then any other day of the year. I spent 5 years in Los Angeles. Sports is so boring compared to here I'm Philly. If a Philly team is in a championship game I recommend you come to Philly and watch it here. You will have the time of your life. Weather it's the Super bowl or the world series or even the Sanley Cup if Philly has a fighting chance to win you will understand why we are so passionate about our teams. I wouldn't want to be a sports fan in any other city in the world. I'm born and raised in Philly and I love our teams and I am proud to be an Eagles fan even when we have a bad season. I bleed green. Thanks Nick and Thanks to coach Pedderson. I am so proud of you guys!!!!!!

    • @seandaniels9576
      @seandaniels9576 6 лет назад +1

      foles is going to be traded. he's on a 4 year $7.5 million team option, for a superbowl winning starting quarterback. do you realize how valuable a trade piece that is? and he's I would trade him and rodney mcleod to the vikings for harrison smith who's the best saftey in the league and maybe the 3rd best defensive player aftrer jj watt and aaron donald, and smith's contract is a steal

    • @williamduncombe
      @williamduncombe 6 лет назад +1

      sean daniels I would never trade for VIKINGS 38 point allowing defense (in an eagles fan. Eagles since birth)

    • @OsideDubHead
      @OsideDubHead 6 лет назад +2

      sean daniels that was definitely my first thought..go where the money is..then i thought about it a bit..philly will pay him pretty damn good to be the backup, obviously not as good as starting somewhere else BUT it's likely his career would be a lot longer if he was a backup..he wouldn't have the pressure of going somewhere else and having to prove himself there, or even fill the expectations of another full season like the end of the eagles season..and of course he would stay on a damn good team while being absolutely loved in Philly..It almost seems like definite job security to me..who knows tho! He could want to play and be a starter and get that contract, couldn't blame him for that either! He deserves it for sure. As an eagles fan I would hate to see him go, but I realize he's gotta look out for his own, and i got faith in Wentz. Either way I think Foles is in a damn good spot, but I think staying in Philly wouldn't be as bad of an option as a lot of ppl may think. Might be a bit biased I know haha ...GO EAGLES!!

      Thinking like this is why it took 52 years for the Eagles to win a Super Bowl. We finally won, let’s bench the Super Bowl MVP! Enjoy the next 52 years of coming up short.

    • @OsideDubHead
      @OsideDubHead 6 лет назад

      Jeff Brown yes actually, in this one in a million situation it would be best to bench the Superbowl mvp it sounds crazy yes, but if you watch all of Carson's games, he is just the more versatile qb. He's better, simple as that. You can't forget he's a huge reason why the eagles were in the position they were in do that Foles could do what he did.

    Goddamn, my man Nick Foles. I'm the same age as him, born n raised in Philly.... in 2013 I loved this guy. Was pissed when he got traded (along with my favorite Eagle Desean Jackson)...... all season seen him on the sidelines and thought "damn this dude is just waiting for the chance." He got it and prevailed, in the course of 2 weeks he became my favorite Eagle QB over McNabb. Superbowl MVP, on late night shows. Still cannot believe this.

    He's not going to be starting in Philly if Wentz is healthy. I do hope he stays as our backup QB because he seems comfortable in this system.

    • @thebreacher3219
      @thebreacher3219 6 лет назад +10

      He is the kind of guy who'd rather see Carson Wentz thrive more than himself, because football is obviously not his main passion. Although if he does stay in the NFL after his contract is up, I hope he ends up on a team that can help him thrive like he did at the end of this season!

      foles is going to be traded. he's on a 4 year $7.5 million team option, for a superbowl winning starting quarterback. do you realize how valuable a trade piece that is? and he's I would trade him and rodney mcleod to the vikings for harrison smith who's the best saftey in the league and maybe the 3rd best defensive player after jj watt and aaron donald, and smith's contract is a steal

      Inthepastxx The first Super Bowl was in 1966 where the Green Bay Packers won the Super Bowl and then went to the Super Bowl once again the following year allowing the Packers to become the first team to win 2 Super Bowls back to back.

      Duval Cooper That's right, and Legarrette Blount and Chris Long are now two of only four players to win back to back Super Bowls with different teams. They won it last year with the Patriots. The other two are Ken Norton, Jr. and Deion Sanders. Norton and Sanders won a Super Bowl together with the Niners in their fifth Super Bowl win. Norton had also won it the previous year with the Cowboys under Jimmy Johnson and Sanders won it in the later year with the Cowboys under Barry Switzer. Norton is also the only player to win three straight Super Bowls with any team, two with the Cowboys and then one with the Niners.
