Of course Jack Riley’s character Elliot Carlin had to be mentioned while discussing The Bob Newhart Show. Elliot was Dr. Hartley’s most frequent patient.
@jenniferhansen3622 Your favorite? Wow! Good for you! "The Rescuers" is somewhat of a forgotten Disney film because it falls in between Classic Disney and Renaissance Disney. You may be the first person I've ever come across whose favorite Disney movie is "The Rescuers." But it is indeed a heart-warming film. The opening at the UN is adorable. It reminds me of my childhood. I grew up with the humor of both "The Bob Newhart Show" and "Newhart." Big fan of both. He was a funny and intelligent comic. And clean too, which I appreciate. Married to his wife for 60 years. He'll be missed and never be replaced.
@@PaulTesta The Rescuers was re-released in theaters in 1983 and I remember my sister taking me to see it so I have very fond memories of seeing it in the theater. The little girl in the movie was little like me. It's such a super cute movie. I love the music in it too.😉

Bernard left an impact at the "Rescue Aid Society" and is now reunited with Bianca.
Rest in paradise, Bob Newhart.
A legend never dies.
Well said. Can't add anything to that.
