They did return to the playoffs in the 2019 season, once again breaking the Saints' hearts in the playoffs in the Wild Card winning 26-20 in overtime, before falling to the 49ers 10-27 in the divisional round.
The Vikings haven't made the playoff since then.

Every now and then I rewatch this video, after years of repeated failure in the playoffs, this play was the greatest thing I have ever watched. I remember exactly where I was and what I was thinking when this happened. It never fails to bring me to tears of joy. I don't care what anybody says, this is the best play of all time and there is no way I would ever think otherwise. I'll never see a play as sensational or spectacular as this play. And I won't see anything close to it as long as Kirk Cousins is quarterback.

KHII he missed day one of tackling. If he would have kept his head up the turnout would have been different.
KHII ya know I dont think the other guy could have caught diggs. He was like 8 yards behind the play and by the time diggs was actually in the air for the catch, he was basically jogging and coming to a stop. Diggs is way too fast for a player who is jogging 7-8 yards behind him.

To my fellow Saints, it was a good year one worthy of keeping our head held high. Not a fan of either team, but Marcus Williams is a rookie pro bowler who had a pick earlier in the game. Sure, his mistake at the end did ultimately cost the saints the game, but he made some great plays earlier to even get the saints back in the game
