Adrian Peterson flew under the radar as a fumbler. His great plays overshadowed a career of consistent fumbling. I'll never forget the play where Clay Matthews ripped the ball out of his hands and ran it back for a score. Peterson laid there acting injured to cover up the fact that someone literally ripped the ball from his arms out of pure strength. The int at the end is what people remember but before end of half a missed handoff inside the saints 5, then late in the third Favre throws a int at the 30, then harvin fumbles at their own 10, and then Berrian fumbled inside the saints 15. With 3 of those turnovers inside the 30 and 1 inside Their own 10 is the Vikings don’t lose one of those turnovers it doesn’t take OT that’s not counting AP and harvins fumbles that were recovered by Vikings

As opposed to the Saints who were cursed by an actual Voodoo witch for deciding on the name The Saints over the New Orleans Voodoo? At least that's the legend.

Brett Favre is one of football's greatest players and the league decided to punish him with this game. That's messed up when you think about it.

Coach: Ok, Farve. The only thing you have to do is not throw across your body across the middle and we're golden.
Farve: _Oh hell yeah coach imma throw it across the middle_
Coach: No. Farve. Listen. DON'T THROW across the middle
Farve: _well doggunnit peach pie lizard boots if I gotta man open imma hit him like a cheap date_
Farve: *Throws pass across body across the middle of field and intercepted*

The Vikings actually played the better game. If they didn't make so many bone-head mistakes (like the fumbles or that 12-man penalty), they probably convincingly win the game.

or you know the refs could have not been in favor and actually call the obvious penalties... these were penalties in that game and today.. no difference

How can you say the team that kept making "bone headed mistakes" played the better game? They turned the ball over several time.

Diehard Packers fan I told a good friend of mines who was a Vikings fan that Brett Favre when the game is close that he would throw some stupid pass that would cost y’all the game like he did to the packers in the 07 NFC championship game and looked what happened
