Honestly it was too obvious the jags were winning this game. Steelers got way too cocky. They were talking about Patriots vs Steelers rematch before any of the games started. Congratulations to the jags for making the steelers eat their words.

The Steelers were already in field goal range which puts them with a final score of 45 but knowing the offense they probably would’ve scored, which leaves a final score of 48/49 - 45, and Pittsburgh advances. Complete bullshit that cost the team a playoff game

If they were really experts they would have hedged by noting that upsets happen in the NFL in most weeks. With single-elimination playoffs the best team doesn't always win. It's not like in baseball or basketball with the best of five or best of seven series that more reliably favor the better teams. Even the Browns would have a chance (albeit small) if they could get in the playoffs.
Recall the end of the 2017 regular season when the Ravens and Lions only had to beat the hapless Bengals to keep their playoff chances alive. And then the Bengals surprised everybody by finally deciding to start playing football.

Seems like a deja-vu doesn't it? 21-0 in first quarter, 28-7 in 2nd quarter... Same mentality issue as well. Starting the playoffs thinking they are the kings, when they haven't won a playoff match in 4 years, been to the SB in 9.... It really showed that the players were not prepared for the Brown's match. When you have been out of the playoffs for 2 years in a row, you should start being really focused, trying to put all your energy in every snap. Quite the opposite of what happened.

Without some of the most amazing (somewhat unbelievable) throws and catches by PIT, this game was an absolute blowout.
We were in Telluride, Co during this game with our best friends. 4 of us and 5 children. Got done skiing and caught the 2nd half. We were the only Jags fans in the restaurant/bar. 4th quarter came around and we had the whole place converted to Jags fans yellin' and hollerin'. This game will always hold a special memory for us. Best game ever....

This Steelers offense was so talented, 2017 should have been their year. Terrible defense, the Shazier injury, the Jesse James catch, Mike Mitchell and others looking past the Jaguars, bad decision making in the playoff game (onside kick, 4th and short play calls) and most notably egos led to the Steelers downfall. Props to the Jaguars, that defense was incredible and if they had any other qb not named Blake Bortles they would have been playing in that Super Bowl against the Eagles

This was one of the greatest playoff games I have ever seen and one of the best quarterback performances I have ever seen by Ben Roethlisberger. Incredible game. Its crazy how far the Jags fell off last season, their defense is so stacked. Telvin Smith, Myles Jack, and Yannick Ngakoue are three of my favorite players in the league. Would like to see them bounce back this year.

I really like how there seemed to be zero bad blood between the teams. Usually Jaguars and their opponents get heated on the field but Steelers players were helping Jags off the ground and vice versa. No altercations. Clean game and a great one at that. I'm a Jaguars fan but Big Ben put the team on his back. Incredible fortitude and dude was willing to take hits to get some yardage. Don't see that too much from the guy. Go Jags! gg Pittsburgh.
