Well, for me, its no surprise. I went to work in London in the mid-80s and as a Welshman, I saw pure Racism every day of my working life. The blokes I worked with, mostly all from London were short, smelly, badly dressed, scruffy, loud-mouthed, opinionated on things they knew nothing about, DEEPLY Racist and Mysoginistic to the point, I often wondered if some of them had women buried under their garden...
I hated them then and know, 35 + years later, they are the bitter rancid pensioners who voted Brexit.

Rationing. Great. Just as all the queueing is great. Queueing up orderly for something that's in demand is what being British is all about.
It will bring you closer together. A lot closer. Probably closer than most of you will be comfortable with, but what are you going to do, don't get in the queue and miss out?
Rationing will install that Dunkirk and Blitz spirit, which we hear so much of from brexiters, and I think that this might be as good a time as any to start showing some.
I'm very optimistic. I've seen several videos of people interacting on petrol forecourts, and it shows a people united behind a cause, however hopeless.
    Heartwarming, is what it is.

Great show, Nick! You are the MAN! The knowledge, or rather, the distinct lack of it, from these callers highlights how utterly wreckless and stupid Cameron was to hold the referendum back in 2016. Most of the public had and many still do have, a complete lack of understanding of how the EU works, or what our relationship was with it! How could they make an "informed" decision, especially on something so complex? Let's face it, most of us don't know the difference between the UK and GB, or even our relationship with the Crown pricipalities of Jersey, etc. and we don't have a grasp on how our own voting system works, or rather how it only works for one particular party. I myself don’t, I’ve encountered Lazy types everywhere I’ve travelled , many Hard Workers, Lots of them seemingly without Ambition , as I’ve said in my previous comments, The Brits picking flowers must have certainly worked well just to be kept on , it’s surprisingly hot clammy weather in the Netherlands Fields during a long Summer,

@@colinstephenson5386 Off course one nationality is not more lazy than another. But I find it ironic that this comment came from people like Priti Patel and Dominic Raab. People who now want to keep foreigners out and are quite nationalistic. Why do we work? To make money, why would you want to do back breaking work in a field when you can work in an office for the same money? That's not lazy that's human.

There was a petrol problem, the Hard Of Thinking and Members of the finest Government Britain’s ever had. ( sarcasm rules ) said motorists are panicking and obtaining more petrol than they need , motorists always put petrol in their cars it makes them go , most people continued to drive the only car they had , nobody rushed out and bought a second motor , when the tanks full it’s full , numpties ,

Honestly people, do you teach maths and physics in Britain? Rising salaries won't do any good, because you'll have to rise prices proportionally as well. If workers get e.g. 10% payrise the employer shall have to sell the goods they produce for about 10% more as well---that follows directly from what we call _distribution rule_ in algebra. And who will buy them? The workers, again. So that's a what-goes-in-goes-out situation. The only thing you'll achieve is devaluation of currency, making foreign goods & services more expensive for you. True, you'll make yours cheaper for us, but since your precious Brexit meant introduction of tariffs, that won't do much good either... From the point of view of physics: you can't make something out of nothing, remember conservation laws? That's secondary school stuff.
Note for actually learned people: yes, I know what Banach-Tarski paradox is; but since a potato only contains finite amount of particles, the only known, practical way to make 2 out of 1 is to plant it. ;-)

If you have one worker producing 1000 items at a cost of £100, that a cost of £0.1 per item.
If the worker get a ten percent pay rise, the cost per item goes up by 0.01 percent. Not as you claimed 10 percent.
Maybe you shouldn't talk about maths when you manage to get a maths problem a 11 year old could solve wrong by a a factor of 1000.
