Just to confirm there are no chicken shortages in the Republic of Ireland. I had roast chicken for dinner today and it was delicious. What we do have is problems with air pollution around the border due to an exponential growth in the number of poultry farms trying to access the UK market. We laugh at the situation in the UK at the moment because it has made Irish unification more likely than it has ever been
