This is cool but I think be cool if the rear trunk was full carbon like the roof and the hood then the whole Centre would literally look like carbon fiber I think that will be pretty cool

Wow that hardtop came out cherry. Most reps are 10 footers at best, but that looks amazing. So glad you are going with oem latches! Looks are always subjective, but the fact you all went above and beyond refreshing everything on the car mechanically is awesome! Bravo team.

Hardtop is epic!!!!! That is the most decent aftermarket in house molding build I have ever seen.
Rear wing is an awesome design, however imo it should be about 2-3inches lower. Lastly wheels are very cool but would of been a very nice look in gloss black. Either way this car is amazing, I'm sure it looks even better in person. Btw the rear bumper seems to be growing on me 😂, but it's good to know the oem option is available. Well done throtl
Please roll the rear fenders and/or bumper tab relocation to fit a proper tire size in the rear. 235 is smaller than OEM
Probably depends on where you are in the world, here in the Netherlands the standard size is 215/45R17!
@@frankvanrijn964 oem rear tire size for AP2 is 245, i think you’re referring the fronts.

The S2K is right up there with the S13 for my all time giveaway builds that you guys have done! Watching Mickey be a part of custom making the hardtop was awesome and so much better than just putting on an off the shelf part. Great job fellas! Yup. The wing is 2000s cringe.....and matches the rear bumper ugliness. Lol.
Big ups for using the OE hardtop brackets, they're absurdly expensive but they make a world of difference with aftermarket tops. Crossing my fingers to get my hands on this thing, sold mine with an oem top years ago and regret the decision daily.

I love hardtop miata conversions and now that I have seen this S2000 with a carbon fiber hard top it just looks so much better , its just amazing. Once again another car turning out way better than expected. Keep up the amazing work guys

Excellent job! Looks amazing! The only thing personally I would change is the trunk lid. I would do it carbon to tie in the top, hood, and wing. Just my opinion.

That is an amazing build. Once again the team smacked it out of the park ... and then some. Easily second fav give away build after the 2008 WRX Hatch build. Love the content, love the comradery within the team (personally think that goes along way in any line of work) and as always ... love the 'giving back' to the viewers. From little New Zealand :)
I think it carbon hood and hard top look great, but now it needs a carbon trunk lid for it all to match!
So cool seeing that hardtop made! Now I understand why you didn't do the throtl traditional partial paint on the carbon fiber hood. Love how this build is turning out!

Good lord that thing is amazing. It's really coming together. Trust the throttle vision, lol. That hardtop just belongs there. I still prefer the spoon hardtop, but I would definitely be ecstatic to run that one. The fact that it's so oem is astounding.

I think the rear winglets need to be a little different but the wing itself is perfect for that size of car.

Can't help but think that bumper with the carbon lip in the background, while they were building the hard top, would look much better than the fish gill style bumper currently on the car... Wheels look amazing on the car though, and the hard top turned out 🔥!!

I wasn't a fan of the rear bumper but with the wing on and the new rims I kinda like it! I still wanna see the other bumper but if it's not amazing like blow me away difference I think I'd keep the back bumper that's on it
I love everything you've done save for the rear bumper. Another amazing build.
I'm actually not quite the biggest fan of the front bumper, since most of the car is modeled to be sleek and aggressive the front end seems a bit mismatched, like it's lacking something, or it may be that it's just too "cute" imo. I really liked the bumper in the background of the hardtop shop, it had the aggressive aero that I feel like would match the fender cutouts quite well but that's just what I think.

I've been in the s2k community for quite a while now. what is 7 apple? I've never heard of them as hard top makers. if it's gramotoring then they are dog water when it comes to quality. if it's forbidden usa or shine auto, then they have great quality rep products.

Was thinking the same. Wheels do looks sweet, however; the color on it's own is great just not a good fit with the car paint..
