i love the older design supercharged engine, it’s what makes this car stand out and gives it a cool more analog feel but with a modern package. the feel of a supercharged engine cannot be matched

Since their experimentation in the SUV market is very successful, they should introduce a larger version SUV for those with bigger families. I'm a huge fan of how Jaguar broadened their horizons

@@ronin120 I had a 2017 F-Pace S for a little over 2 years. It is one of the best SUV's out there to drive and even the stock exhaust sounds fantastic. However, lots of interior issues. HVAC sucked and made fluttering noises, creaks and rattles, speakers blowing, two of the shocks went and had to be replaced. I sold it with 30,000 kms on it.
If the interior quality doesn't bother you, I'd say it's a great vehicle to own.

@@ronin120 my girlfriend has an NX, really comfortable and luxurious car and very reliable too. I'd go for the Lexus too. It's too much of a nuisance to keep going to the dealership every few weeks.

The F-Pace is my kind of SUV as well. It's practical, fast, sounds good, and sexy as hell. Sure, a more modern engine and maybe a few more MPGs would be nice, but it's easily in the top 2 or 3 in the segment. And of course, awesome review as usual, love your easy style.

@@sargisparunakyan6109 People shopping in this price range (I am not among them) don't care much about long term reliability because they tend to lease their vehicles and turn them in before the warranty expires. The people who buy these used will experience all the problems. In any case, reliability isn't a top concern for many buyers, especially enthusiast/performance buyers because it's typically more of an emotional decision than a rational one.
idk if i can speak on reliability cuz i haven’t experienced it yet but my granny drives a 2017 R-Sport (bought it new at the time) and she still driving up till today, she says it’s still drives fine and is reliable, picked her up literally yesterday n she smart for this, instead of going to the dealer (which is most likely $$$$$) she went to like a outside mechanic shop. all she needed was a tire rotation but other than that i believe she took it to the dealer like once or twice after her warranty has finished

Purchased a used 2016 2.0 litre prestige a month ago for my wife.Love it every time I get in I feel very privileged to own one.
This is absolutely the BEST review of the Jaguar F-Pace S on RUclips. I love this guy...! I got so caught up in his energy and enthusiasm when he took it out for a test drive that I'm putting my order in for an S model tomorrow! HE should get the commission!
Just bought a 2018 yesterday and this thing is amazing!! Yes its older considering its 2022 now BUT DANG so glad we bought an S!!! Hope you are liking yours
@@CitizenKev2 ........I'm actually more excited today than when I first got the vehicle. Best vehicle, hands down, that I've EVER owned. If one doesn't get the 3.0L Petrol, 380 HP Supercharged.....which is the top of the model line, then don't get an F-Pace. My fully loaded (w/22" wheels) S Class 2017 model is still snapping heads back - 5 years later. LOL! I am NEVER out of 'Dynamic' mode....love the growl! Congratulations and enjoy your ride....you're going to love it!
overall reliable has been good for this one?? n true dat with the fuckin head turns lmao! everytime my granny shows up cuz she still drives a 2017 35t R-Sport, like i just can’t stop staring at her car lmao…but apart from looks n my neck hurting, i’ve wondered if it can last me on the long term with this car, hell my granny says it’s reliable n she still driving her f-pace after she bought it new in 2017

chipchip Yup... may have done it on purpose a lot, just to hear those noises ;)
I'm glad to see it doesn't shift automatically when you hit the limiter like some other cars do.

Best car review I've seen, and I'm a huge car fan, and am lucky enough own an XF. Looking at an F-Pace in a few years. After watching your review, the S is definitely at the top of my list - love it.

I'm really starting to like Jaguar's super-charge engine whistle sound. Sounds so good. If I had to get a crossover, it'll have to be sporty like this. Very nice Jaguar.

It's becuase the car will be spending most of the time with the mechanic.
It simply means that Jaguar has confidence in their products, unlike some manufacturers who only offer 2 oil changes within a 2 year period.
i guess thats because jaguar has a bad rep of having reliability issues. this perk is to mitigate the negative sentiment and portray jaguar's confidence in their renewed production direction

This is just as fast, or faster than many of the V8 Mustangs from the 90's and early 2000's. GT's, Cobra's, Shelby's, Saleen's and SVT's. Best is 5.1 sec 0-60 and 13.3 sec 1/4mi. It has more cargo room than a Macan and can tow more. Plus parts are usually cheaper and most places can change the oil. Affordable fun, utility, and luxury. Winner, winner!
I know how you feel sofyan , I test drove the new jag xe s , and the driving experience is so much fun , I always think about just going back to the dealership to test drive it again.
The Jag v6, more than any other, is literally and almost exactly a v8 with two holes not filled. The blocks look just about like the v8s!

Great review but just wanted to make a quick correction. The AJ126 V6 does in fact have Bosch direct injection, not port injection.
By far the most indepth review I've seen. Good job! I feel like I can jump into this car and know every single function right away. I think the F-Pace looks great and performs well. It could be an interesting head-to-head choice Vs the Alfa Romeo Stelvio.
Getting a black-on-black 2019 V6 3.0L S AWD kitten next week. I cannot wait. Just thinking about it makes me grin like a Cheshire cat.

that model is gorgeous! can't beat black glossy shoes (rims) it's impossible to go back to a car after getting out of a crossover simply because of the height of getting out of the driver seat. a car is low, crossover a little bit higher, plus I like when the rear opens open to move a lot of stuff..
This was a really great review. I feel like between this and the Macan and the new Stelvio, there are some great sporty crossover choices out there. Also the BMW crossovers are good too

A great and very well detailed review. Was going to ask about reliability since I've heard so many stories about that issue with their vehicles, but you answered that. I am an SUV person myself. It's all I've ever owned and leased. Just my preference because I don't like been so low to the ground when I'm driving. It feels very weird to me.

All new Jaguars come with Remote Start, it's set up at the dealer via app. The App is Jaguar InControl Remote. Allows you to remotely start your vehicle, lock and unlock the car, check the location of your vehicle via google or apple maps, allows you to track your mileage and your trips. All 2016 and 2017 Jaguars come with remote start it's just done through your smart phone. Also starting with the Premium model you have power folding mirrors standard, there is no setting they automatically fold in when you lock the car and fold out when you unlock the car, there is no setting to change that like Audi has on such cars as the Q5 with Tech Package.

Hey Sofyan..This vehicle is awesome....This is by far my favorite luxo CUV. The styling is absolutely great inside and out. Some of the interior design is quirky but its British so kind of expected. Also, this will be selling for about 45k or less in about 2 years off lease.
this is the very best everyman reviewer - you would be shorting yourself if you don't subscribe and put his opinions and thoughts into your choice process when considering any vehicle
Never thought jaguar could produce something good as this and it shows how far they have improved. Well they need to improve on the mileage and materials used for the cockpit.

Love the review! It is between this and a Macan GTS... but honestly The F-Pace seems like a WAY better bang for your buck. Especially with it fully loaded it still comes in 20k below a similarly optioned GTS...

Not sure if I should get the F pace or F type. This review made it that much harder. The f pace is very attractive
There are duplicative controls for seat warming. Your finger was literally hovering over the button with a chair on it when you were complaining that you needed to use the screen to heat the seats. :)

I just walked the dogs passed thr neighbors fired up their 35t. There was a very loud ticking noise on cold start. Forums say it is common but no reports of problems....yet.

Nice review........but as a guy I hate companies using a knob for a shifter.....I'm a guy....I want an actual shifter.....its sposed to be a sporty suv and it has a KNOB........I'd never buy one just for that reason.
