+Petar Popara Rory wasn't particularly kind about the interior or the noise so i can't see how you would think this was a commercial.

Go for the Range Rover supercharged and you have the real thing. The modern Jags have nothing to do with Jaguar what made the brand what it used to be. The modern Jags are technical wise great cars but as soulles, mindless and clinical as any Audi or Mercedes. Great cars but no heart ir character....

Having driven the F-Pace, It's amazing how engaging the dynamics of it are, it's hard to explain, but it just FEEL's like it want's you to drive it, and yet it's just as comfortable to cruise in, as the XE or XF models. My only critique would be that perhaps the interior could have been designed with a bit more life in it / a few more interesting features to it, but that really is about it. Spec it right when you build it, and there's not much to complain about really.
Wouldn't mind having one myself!

Agree with your comments about the steering... though quite a few reviewers have commented on the steering being too light and lacking feedback... Had my F Pace for a little over a week now and it drives beautifully, especially in the S position on the selector and in dynamic.

Nailed it Rory - well balanced review. Completely agree that the interior is a huge missed opportunity / own goal. Hopefully they fix this for the facelift soon.

im legit obsessed with this car i want it so badly but its like $10 grnd over budget so im going to buy an x1 keep it a year or two and then get a car i actually want like the f pace or the macan maybe even a range rover sport im only 17 so i have some time lol

Nice review, sir! I won't be in the market for a new car until another 2 or 3 years. If you had to choose between this or an Audi or Mercedes, which would you prefer? I am starting to lean towards this F-Pace...especially since after 2 or 3 years Jaguar should have most if not all of the kinks worked out!
Went to look at an S today alongside the Range Rover Sport. I think I'll be putting in my custom F-Pace order this week. It drove better than the Sport and overall, was just a better car. This maybe because it suits my needs more as an off-road, adventure, sporty car whereas the RR Sport is also great off road but is more for the luxury side of things.
I thought the F-Pace was fantastic and it looks gorgeous. Can't wait to fork out 70K in a few days :/ :)

How would this compare to a Macan GTS in terms of ride quality and handling? Doesn't look like you guys have made a video review of a Macan, but have you driven one?

I have a 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo that i love but if i was in the market for a new SUV i would sooooo be looking at this or a reasonably priced Macan
Oh the Macan is reasonable until you start adding up all the options

What's the engine type, package (S-line?) and color (specific type of blue?) It looks awesome!
The car in the video is a jaguar f type 3.0 S V6 petrol and it is in First Edition Spec (which has now sold out). The name of the colour is caesium blue and was only available with the first edition. However there are rumours that Jaguar will be offering it as an option on all F Paces in 2017

That moment on 3:35 - what's the point of paddle shifters if the gearbox shifts itself? Though the second question is why didn't it immediately change to a higher gear?
Are you living in 2002? All premium brand auto cars have paddle shift these days

I did, and from what I can hear, it did change gears immediately. Not seeing the issue
+foxesamu he pulls the paddle, the gearbox shifts immediately, then gearbox shifts again and after the shift he pulls the paddle. It's happening from 3:35 to 3:37 aproximately

I'm looking to buy an old F-pace and searching youtube for 3 days for a good review super dissapointed Rory from Top Gear and Autotrader never did a review on it THEN I STUMBLE ON THIS CHANNEL AND ITS FUCKING HIM!
F-Pace or the XC90?? That is the question.
The XC is a solid 10" longer and $10-20k more expensive with comparable options
+foxesamu XC90 in its top of the line inscription model is around $57,000. F-Pace S, the top of the line model, is also around $57,000. It is comparable, if not the Jaguar being slightly more expensive. These are stats taken from their websites.
XC90 T8 R-Design /starts/ at $70K. It's the closest thing to the 380hp F Pace S, which is fully loaded at $70K. I love them both and their starting prices are similar but the F-Pace is a much more performance-oriented machine and it would be my personal pick.
