After a test drive which was great I forgot to try out the lane assist. Sales guy was anxious to demonstrate but it didn't seem to work very well and recognized even on the freeway with painted lanes it seemed to drift out of the lane. Anyone else have any feed back on the lane assist feature. Concluded it only works in very limited perfectly marked and painted road surfaces. Have one on order anyway. What responsibility will Jaguar take if my delivered car fails miserably in this regard like the one in my test drive?

I have the Lane assist on an XE and wilst it works very well, it annoys me too much so I leave it off.
As to Jaguar's responsibility......it probably WILL let you down and JLR probably won't have a clue as to why as they'll be far too busy developing the next tech to bother about getting the current to work....
I love Jaguar's but sadly my Porsche's have been far more reliable and better to live with!
Having come back to Jaguar AGAIN, I'll be looking elsewhere shortly.....

Um....the back is NOT extremely spacious for anyone over 5'8". I'm 6'2" tall and the back is very small for people my size. I'm noticing that for all the expensive SUV's now. No back like "back" in the day.

How can it be slow you clown Iv got an Audi and the F pace ! And the F pace is definitely quicker and is more luxurious inside ! No other suv comes close to the Jaguar !!! Only a RR Iv owned them all Jag is favourite then the RR 3 rd place x5 the others just lag behind especially mercy and Audi !!

Yeah it's only rare because people prefer to have their SUV in neutral colors, like white, black or grey. I'm getting mine next week, in santanori black. Also easier for resale.
