This was a great reminder for me! My body is a temple & I should be treating it that way! Thank you for the tips on water intake. That is by far my most difficult struggle.

    Thank you
I've been really down lately. I'm older my knee is so painful all the time,.and I'm still working as a server. I'm on a health journey of weight control and lowering cholesterol. Yours words of encouragement have really helped me today.

I am struggling with meal planning 😫😫 so many picky eaters. Do you have any tips for this struggle?
I am trying to make healthier choices. But in this season of my life it seems a bit challenging. I am giving myself some grace but I am conscious not to make this season an excuse to make bad choices. Some days are better than others but I am intentional 😊.
I do look forward to your videos every Thursday! You inspire me. I say thank you for your tips 😊

I actually may do a video on this but we don’t put up with “picky” in our home. Our kids eat what’s put before them. We believe this teaches them gratefulness as well as respect for the person who prepares it. However if they truly don’t like something we don’t require them to eat all of it but they do have to try it a few times and there is absolutely not negativity allowed at the table. So they can sit down and start complaining about what we’re having.

@@AnnaBruceblog Oh my word!! This advice is everything! I like how you flip the focus to gratitude. So teaching my kids to eat whatever is placed before them is teaching them to be grateful that they have something to eat 😭😭😭🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
Anna, thank you because I would have never looked at it that way. It’s gratitude to both God the provider and me/hubby taking the time to prepare the meal.
I also like how you highlight no complaining at the table and even if they really don’t like something they must still try it. It’s not like there’s an allergy issue so… 😊
Thank you my dear sister ❤

With our children we require them to take a thank you bite. This shows respect for the person who prepared the meal, maintains an attitude of gratitude, and encourages them to try new foods!

What's worked well for me right now is to workout for just ten minutes if I can't do a whole video. If I keep my workout "streak" I'm more motivated to eat healthy and keep working out.
