Vikinger How did you like the episode? I thought it was lit.👌
hay all, I ask for a moment, I hope you can take a moment to view and download vidio tinyurl.com/ybyz3ugo
Vikinger Ivar is Awesome!!
Ok glæder mig
I like how they shows that Ivar is actually taller than rest of the brothers.
exactly what i was thinking
That's because hes closer to the camera 😑
No, He is taller by at least a few inches.
Bjorn is the tallest
well he did say once he is so much taller when he stands up
The actor who plays Ivar is so talented it's insane. I hope he goes places after this. Alex is doing incredible work.
Monica87 Saw a photo of Alex behind scenes dressed up as a Templar with short hair , could be a new show seeing as all recording for vikings season 6 is finished
he can act well but also bad. Depends. Sometimes he is good sometimes he over acts. Tough i think hes pretty good at acting sad, with his eyes and mouth
Black Blades Zoro Damn that’s crazy if it is another show. Dude would have played a viking who hates christians and a christian knight lol
@@Jow2002 he does not over act, he plays Ivar, a person who's always angry, he acts the way he should. I think his acting is by far the best, after Travis Fimel, who plays Ragnar of course.
Absolutely
a bear that walks on all fours is scary, but a bear that can stand on two legs is more terrifying.
Bear that uses crotch is...
Crutch*
But I doubt the bear would mind being able to use crotch too.
just for the record their are videos of a bear that walks about on its back legs like a person
@Linda Kendrick hvitserk smiled or atleast alittle bit
A bear that can stand up on 2 feet and throw shit at you lol
I love the symbolism here, showing that he is just as tall and worthy as his brothers.
also how worried Ubbe looked, because he knew what Ivar was capable of.
@@Killerkwoi13 let’s not forget the face Ivar makes. It’s not “omg im standing and walking” it’s got more of a “it’s over for you hoes” feel to it lol
He's taller
"stand up and say it to my face"- floki
Which épisode ?
Solenn Dif 5x1
@Brandy Tallent 5x01
I dont know about you guys but I found this scene one of the most badass scenes in television.
John Wick ...... better than John Wick
John Wick Yes...Ivar is #Boss!
He stood up and looked down at them that was fire #teamivar
John Wick same bro
Lord Vader Better than me and you Lord Vadah!!
Love the way he shrugs his shoulders as he stands tall.
There is just something seriously menacing about the look on Ivar's face
Andrew Stephen He is basically thinking "Yeah, remember the shit you used to give me? Guess what."
Yo!
Andrew Stephen the dude basically just gave the gods that gave him bad legs the finger
When I first saw this I was so proud of Ivar. I mean he let's nothing stop him from evolving. He don't sit around feeling sorry for himself. You can't help but root for him. This gave me goose bumps! Way to go Ivar! And that moment when you realize your crippled brother is a threat! Ubbe looks worried and Hvitserk looks proud. Actions speak louder than words!
They look terrified! And rightfully so! If Ivar were to have the ability to walk as a normal person, they know they would never be his equals.
Byron Carlisle True
Byron Carlisle But then he probably would have never become the person that he is. Just like Ragnar said
That's true but I meant if he were able to walk normally now after he already went through everything
Idk i feel like Ivar would far surpass Bjorn, and i like Bjorn, but I don't think his experience would be able to withstand Ivar's intellect, raw talent, and drive.
Ali Chaudry I swear bro! I hope to see Ivar resting high atop this hierarchy after resourcefully, cunningly, and brutally paving his way there!
I love how he is taller than his brother's, really captures the look of him being Tyr incarnate like he was in real life, one of the most feared berserkers in history
Never have I ever been so conflicted by a character.... when he’s being a psycho, I can’t stand him, and yet scenes like this I always find myself rooting for him!!! Love this show!
Exactly, same here! That's damn good acting 🙌
that psycho makes Ivar. How can u not like it :D
i love ivar when e goes crazy ^^
@@sweetfreeze5528 cap
Villains are the hero of their story
I like how Ivar has a facial expression and a way of looking around just like Ragnar had.
That was a good heritage from Ragnar.
It was the look on his face that he gave when they looked at him
This is the only time in the whole show I remember Ubbe looking genuinely afraid.
I absolutely love that he is (or at least appears to be here) the tallest out of the three
He was described by the Viking sagas as "tall and handsome".
@@refulgent_fanta the casting was brilliant in so many ways!!
That smile at the end and those eyes. That is Ragnar part 2.
Part 4 actually
Ubbe's thoughts: Oh shit...
Hvitserk's thoughts: Wow, he's so cool! :D
The look on Ubbas face is priceless. He knows there's going to be a reckoning for sure.
Alex's upper body strength must be insane! I can't imagine having to drag my own body weight around for hours at a time for months on end not to mention carry all the props and wear the outfits!
Do you remember how good of a warrior Ivar is when he is SITTING? Remember that moment in the forest when he was sword -fighting with Hvitsrek? Imagine just how strong he would be if he had normal legs!!!
Its like they released this guy from an insane assylum just to do this role..he was born for this role
Sauron Draco yes he was! He owns every scene he is in. What a spectacular actor to be so young! And totally gorgeous. Looking like a #Snack!!! Lol
Got chills, Ivar is a savage and now that he can kinda of walk, he's gonna go cause Havoc and go Ham this season....no doubt.😆
knew id Find you here hahaha
HELL YEAH GO IVAR
Ivar was a Beast (do note the capitalization), no question! But what ~truly~ set him apart from his siblings..? was how smart he was - Even his detractors acknowledged how sharp his wits were. If there was anything that gave him even the barest hint of an edge..? he knew it and he USED it!
He really reminds me of his father Ragnar. His eyes, his look. good acting
Love that they brought back the smith from season 4. Ivars bodyguard looks promsing too
I really hope they include them in to the show like they did with Torstein, One-Eye, and Leif back in Season 1
Stark 7R -Video Editor- good catch bruh
same
his bodygaurd's name is White-Hair
Too bad that they didn't really use him :(
he might have more scenes in 5b, unless he's already dead
He plays this so well, he looks unsure and almost looks for approval off his brothers and then stands tall, it's f@ck!ng brilliant 🙌
This scene is insanely powerful. The music, the acting. For all the shows faults, this scene will always be perfect.
this show is amazing man i never thought i could have the same feelings for a tv show as i did for GoT but this also a masterpiece
Couldn't agree more, if Vikings had a similar budget to GOT i'd probably like it more
Alexander can't deny with what they have though, they have done a pretty good job at creating a great TV show
vikings > game of thrones
FresHx247 sameeee
ChaBudZ If only the Vikings budget had as much girth as you.
I was sceptical about Ivar at end of last season but had hope. So far this season Ivar has shined more then I could have imagined and that scene with him vs whole army had my eyes opened to what I hope we are in store for the rest of season. So far I'm so loving this show and this season and have no complaints.
What I like the most about Ivar is that he's extremely courageous. He always tries to overcome struggles, he's constantly fighting to be better than anybody and he's very charismatic 🥰 And he is freaking gorgeous 😍
a brave determined kid
You can all but see Ragnar's smug 'My boy!' grin from Valhalla :D
And the fact that he's taller than both his brothers makes the scene more intense
Alex is just beautiful!
Can we all take a moment to imagine an Ivar that has full use of his legs? Scary AF thought.
that last look ivar gave to his brothers though ! i'm in love with this show man ! great actor!
Most badass first steps ever
He. Is. So. Bad. Ass.
1:32 kinda like ragnars movement
He was the mixture of floki and ragnar, and i loved it. The actor did an insane job.
Ivar is by far my favorite character of this show.
This scene is so powerful. Great King Ivar!
Ivar is evolving both physically and mentally the world best prepare for Wats coming
I miss this fucking show! My life is not the same!
Between this scene here, and during his campaign against the English (The whole "Great Heathen Army" invasion) that cemented two points for me - 1) that Alex Hogh Andersen was an Actors Actor and 2) if there is ANY Justice in terms of casting, He'd be pegged to portray another Monstrous Bad Ass - I refer of course to Dennis Villenueve's Dune and he casting of Feyd-Rautha. (A Psychopathic Murder Machine who is the *VERY* Dark Mirror to Paul Atreides..? Well..? who else fits THAT role better than Andersen? No one. Period.)
Truth be told, they (History Channel) could have devoted said series COMPLETELY to Ivar the Boneless, and it would have won every acclaim it did - and more!)
I remember this made me smile so hard at the time. I felt proud but scared at the same time🥲
I can`t help but smile just like Ivar does in this scene
Alex plays Ivar beautifully
that moment ivar was able to stand face to face with his brothers was so perfect he had been waiting for so long for that moment it was epic and Alex killed it as Ivar
He didn't just stand up, he just said to everyone I am ready to conquer the world.
HAIL KING IVAR!
Thorbjörn Ralfson bjorn is better
chaz meeuwisse meh, he has the will of a little girl.
We can agree to 1 thing floki is amazing i love how crazy he is
chaz meeuwisse Now.. THAT!, I can agree with. XD
Ivar killed a Priest by let him "kiss his cross"..... thats a Viking I will follow!!!!
So seeing Ivar walking is like seeing a spider growing wings and flying :))
As someone who has just gotten off crutches the physicality (strength and will) it takes to first of all, haul yourself off the ground, walk on legs that are under muscled, in a brace (I was only in one until I had my stitches out) and then on one crutch!
Alex/ Ivar has to be strong, because as someone who has done it, it's not easy. And that is why this scene and all he does after, with the ruthlessness, will and strength, blows me away.
No one has forgotten his name, Ivar the Boneless ♥️.
This was one of the most epic moments in vikings
Monster in the making 💀👑💀
Arise BC 374
Nah I think he is already a monster, it's more like 'monster evolving'
😂
He was dangerous b4, now...
Thank you thats were people make all these assumptions about the brother's look at him like he don't have to prove himself wrong the man is dangerous the brothers knows the power he has and him being on two legs the man will out due them.
Lmao him walking just gives him all the more confidence now. And shay, no one wants to read a whole paragraph of no commas or periods. Just saying
Well hes barely any more dangerous. He cant move without the stick and he has no balance at all on those legs because he cant control them. All it would take to knock him down would be a light shove.
nimble Navigator no shit, that’s not what makes him more dangerous
The best part of these scene is the way Hvitserk slowly stops chewing.
The way he slowly walks looks like hell is walking towards them.
Build up muscles, king Ivar!
I love how Ivar is taller than both of them
Hate him or love him, Ivar is the true definition of a badass. Irrespective of the odds, he uses his mind and will to get past them in style. I mean he is a cripple! And yet he commands unimaginable respect and incites fear
This actor was sculptured by the Gods to be able to look this handsome and act this good.
Ivar is the best
the Emy award loading for ivar !!
The moment ubbe realize ivar is taller than him
The moment he walked they knew they F#*@ up🤣🤣🤣
Now that I’m seeing this again, their reactions foreshadowed what happens later on in the show. Ubbe has a look of worry on his face almost while Hvitserk was beaming🤙🏻
Ubbe & Hvitserk: Holy Shit! He's actually taller than us!
I love this scene ! 💙The look of pride on lvar’s face when he straightens his back is supreme ! 🙌 🙌 Alex Høgh really knows how to act with his eyes ! Even when he’s not speaking his facial expressions say it all!
Ivar should walk. without legs he kicks ass. If he get legs this guy is gonna be the most powerful of all
Best scene of the season so far
Idil Yaktubay nope. "You cant kill me! I am Ivar the Boneless!!!!!!!!"
I was waiting for the sound that used to made by the Bionic man to start up! I'm looking forward to watching this I don't care if there's inaccuracies it's entertainment not a biography. Tack Vikinger
crowsbaneful. You remember the Bionic Man! Yer giving away your age there,my friend.I loved that show when I was a nipper!
Jamie Shutler lol and a lady is never supposed to do that, right? It's just a number. I was actually more into the bionic dog if you know or remember that? The bionic woman bored me
Interesting enough he probably has alot of upper body strength just from being how he is.
Is it me or do ubbe doesn't want ivar to walk or be strong
Jim Bean
I think that Ubbe is worried that Ivar will be too consumed with his need to show everyone that he is normal, because it causes him to *need* to outdo everyone. Taking York was a very good strategic movie. But insisting to walks like a "normal" man, is just not possible for Ivar. I believe that Ubbe fears that Ivar's need to be excepted by their people will just weaken him and make him more careless about other things. Like when he let anger overcome him with Sigurd: Ivar's insecurity and urge to be normal is making him be reckless, and that hurts Ivar first and foremost...
That being said, Ivar is Ivar the boneless, so he still hadn't say the last word :)
He is cripple so he has to prove to everyone he is strong, if you were a cripple of course u would want to walk like most people
Jim Bean
Of course, but that is the point: Ivar's strength comes from hid mind and charisma. Sure, he is a great fighter as well but.. He is a cripple and nothing can change that. Trying to walk like a normal man is trying to obtain power from a none existing source.
Ivar has the best strategic mind: He understands that keeping yourself in a strong position comes before anything else.
He also understand that terror and fear can serve him well...Genghis Khan, Alexander the great, Julius Cesar and many great leaders did the same, only 1000 times worse. Cruel, but it's not just cruelty that gets him to no where: His enemies will grow to fear his name alone and that helps.
That is Ivar's strength. Trying to walk means keeping himself down, as if all his other attributes are not enough.
I dont think Ubbe wants to live a life of fighting all of the time anymore. I think he has gotten to a point where he wants to live a normal, peaceful life.
ny_kia31
Yes, Ubbe is more about settling down and develop an economy based on trade and farming. But ivar does have a very legitimate point: If the go to East Anglia, they will be surrounded by enemies. If the stay in Wessex, even worse, because they are even further than the sea. For now, they need a strong base of operations and York is the perfect place (Well, that's what they really did in real life).
The look of pure f***ing bravado on his face at the end. He's like "Whattup bitches! Let's go vivisect Lagertha."
He's like a bear. Scary on all fours for sure. But when it stands up and you truely realize its size and power. Terrifying.
Now he's ready to declare war to the 🌎 world as he said
The look on ubbe’s face is priceless, LONG LIVE IVAR!
Ubbe face is fear whereas Hvitserk is like who gives a shit you can walk.
Now they’re thinking “oh damn we’re screwed he’s taller then us now”
The face of Ubbe after seeing Ivar walking is (D:)
The face of Hvitserk is (:3)
I was really hoping he would make a wise crack like "see I always thought I was taller"
Everyone's gangsta until Ivar starts walking
The fact that so many people come to watch the miracle of Ivar walking on his own is amazing and terrifying.
I love the iron smelter who fashioned Ivar's shoe's, so perfect
this scene gives me shudder
i bet so many people would have been going crazy if this was the end of season 4.
Ivar is just an evil version of his dad
Those Vikings always have such pretty braided hair styles
I think a lot of girls are jelous
I copied Ivar's hair style, in fact. I ended up looking more like Joseph Brant!
Producent:Ivar how much do you want your eyes to be blue?
Ivar:Yes
And the devil can now walk! 😈
I love the quiet/suttle pride his brothers have here, but I also love that they don't help Ivar up, they know he would want to do it on his own and that he NEEDS to do it on his own.
This scene is a testament to the skills of the costume and props department on Vikings. Although not really historically accurate, the combination of the metal leg braces and Ivar's beautifully made leather jacket and slicked back hair suggest a combination of a medieval knight, a '50's "greaser", and a futuristic cyborg, and the music used here is not the traditional music used for much of Vikings, but digitized and mechanical sounding, like something from Blade Runner or The Terminator or even Videodrome. Hasta la vista, baby!
Be ruthless… others may think that means be ruthless to his enemies, I think it means he ruthless to himself.
Everybody: oh by the gods, what have we done?
His brothers always looked down on him, but now they have to look up to him. I call that very symbolic.
Ubbe and Hvitserk : We are all fucked
IVAAAAAR💘🙏🔝💪💪
I like that little splotch of chainmaille on his shoulder being there like it makes a huge difference between life and death lol
That’s one helluva scary walk! Imagine being alone in the woods and night with that stalking u haha!
There are still great things to come for this character. im pretty sure his reputation surpasses even his fathers.
Hloniphani Ngidi by the whats in history now what will happen?
They already changed quite a few things so the show would be better to watch. But historically, all of Ragnars sons aside from maybe Sigurd surpass his reputation. Especially Bjorn.
