If I wanted to make it smoother, I could use a smaller diameter bit. It would just take a long time unless I wanted to hand sand. But, I filmed most of this months ago, and still haven’t found the desire to have a smoother dish, so I probably won’t. Keep in mind, the next step of this process of covering it with adhesive-backed sandpaper. So even with the ridges, once the sandpaper is on it, it’s still the same radius, you know?
It’s so funny, seeing the huge sphere on top of that tiny MDF blank. Great visual.
