- Put your volume up. That's all there is to this video because this Alfa Romeo T33/3 sounds out of this world. You can take that quite literally. I personally believe that the astronauts inside the International Space Station looked at the earth to see what was wrong when this Alfa fired up.
Engine Specs:
Tipo 33.3 90° V8 engine block
Engine is mounted in the middle
2998 cc
420 bhp @ 9400 rpm
car weighs 700 kilos in total
Top Speed of 310 kmh

Ah, My Dream Italian, Long Legs, Beautiful Lines, and a Deep Smokey Voice. And I love watching the Alfa put it to the Porsches.
I don't think the Alfa and the Porsches are in the same class but I'm probably wrong
@@f3zynyt284 t33/3 had 400 and something hp and weighs like 700kg, while the 911s probably dont have over 350hp and under 1100kg. Definetly another category
Deeo; by nice to see anyway 😉 Forza Alfa 33
@@f3zynyt284 Not the same class in this case, but when they raced in the same class Alfa beat Porsche more times than the other way around, as did other italian brands. ;)
That beautiful thing sounds positively alive. Like an enraged, snarling , carnivorous beast born of metal and fire.
Il CUORE BATTE FORTE. Quando vedi e senti un'Alfa Romeo. MITICA.
That shift at 1:20 .. orgasmic sound.
I came a little when it drove up Eau Rouge, but the shift you mentioned is a climax for sure!
That shift at 5:11 :)
chills
Clicked on this video thinking "eh, its a classic alfa, can't be that loud!"
And then it started up...
When Alfa Romeo was Alfa Romeo!
I think this Alfa is a great example why we all love historic race cars. Beautiful looks and amazing sound. You can see and feel this. I really hope that Alfa will be back on the track sometime in the future, they´ve been gone to long.
Have to admit, I watch this video several times a month myself just because this car is ridiculously awesome and I personally think we captured it quite well. Would love to partner up with Peter Auto to recieve press passes, that way we could get this car in an even more impressive way!
@@Retroschaft you guys should try get some in car footage of it driving arpund the track.
Warning: if your floor is not carpeted it could injure your jaw when it hits the floor right after the engine starts.
I was 8 when I saw this car racing during the "Conchiglia d'oro Shell"in spring 1969-Imola...Those were the days.
Moisture level: 10.5/10
Thanks dude ;)
soggy
Alfa Romeo e hai detto tutto
not only a brutal sounding car but a beautiful one as well...
I have seen the T33s when they raced here in the US and at vintage events. That is a glorious sound.... sadly missing from all the newer turbo charged cars.
Some nice driving there, finding a way through all those Porsches.
Simply Terrific. Thanks very much for putting it out
Carlo Chiti's Autodelta Alfa beauties
Nice-n-noisy. I love it!
Thank you.
Celestial sound
That insane for it size and a loud exhaust it pretty eargasm
If I ever win the lottery, I will buy one !
Very underrated channel... Best place to see classic motors!
Thank you very much :)!
What a beast ! Very nice editing, btw. You're the only one who knows the good spots to shoot from. Keep up the good work !
Thanks! I think we can safely say quite a lot of other channels copy us in terms of the spots where they film from. Which is fine by me I don't really care :)
thank god for historic racing hd! you are one of my favourite racing channels. especially your group c videos, the more of those the better!
Your comment has an error.
You stated: "you are one of my favourite racing channels", I think you wanted to write: " you are MY favourite racing channel" :D
+Andrew Lewer dude you are right. he is my absolute favourite.
That's awesome! Very nice to hear you are all enjoying this channel so much :D
Beautiful machine!🙀😍😍😍😍
Strongly support your opinion. This sound ist brutal. Liked! Thanks for uploading.
Thank you very much!
Quelle merveilleuse voiture . Ambiance LeMANS le papy❤️🔩🔧⚙️
De la epoca de los ultimos autos made in planeta tierra, no como las mierdas tecnologicas electronicas de hoy. One of the best v8 idle of the race history, i love this car in rfactor.
Brought me right back ro 1971 Sebring.
Beast on the prowl !
Sounding better than any GT 40 did on it's best day.
To bad sound couldn't help it win.

Bellissima 33.
The miss of the Prototypes with a bass' voice...
Très beau son ! on sent la mécanique racée
T33 and the 312 P were gorgeous sports cars
The T33 line of Alfa is truly one of the most beautiful series of racecars I have ever seen!
Back when I seriously followed motorsports in the 1960s into the early '70s, I pitied Alfa Romeo, as people in the racing world and the print media, at least where I lived in California, treated Alfa as an out-of-favor stepchild to the other Italian brand, Ferrari.
From what I can recall, nothing critical was written about Alfa; but nothing positive, either. People considered Alfa as being _there_ at the races as a field-filler contestant. Alfa was akin to being a bridesmaid, but never the bride.
It was nice to see Alfa get their dues in the 1970s with winning the 3 liter titles in the World Sportscar Championship.
Excellent:))
Cabrón! Pero que buen video, esta grabado de una manera increíble. Bravo! Il tuo video e davvero incredibile!
Thanks! Love this chanel.
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed watching :)
The BEST era for sports cars ever...
spectacular, (how do you get that much noise of a tiny little 3.0 v8!)
Awesome
The sound at about 5:10 is simply delicious
Complimenti davvero, gran bel video!!!
Wonderful video, keep up!!!!!
Greetings from The land of Alfa Romeo!
Oo=v=oO
The engine does not enjoy being driven on such light throttle. Under a good load it sounds incredible.
This car looks like a damn shark on his hunt to the next prey! Just awesome!
Is that a hybrid? Just kidding, what great sounds and sights.
these cars sound like Raikkonen answering interview questions: "Bwoah".
48 fps, interesting. Never seen that before on youtube. :)
Erik2Ammo is that good or bad
@@zxJC34xz Good but 60 would be better, but still the most important here is the sound :p
Mamma mia!!!!!!!
Is that the 3 litre model? Great sound but it’s hard to argue against the V12 cars for noise. As for the pre war Auto Union V16 as well as the V12 and Mercedes cars, well!
finally found a car that sounds better than the pagani zonda r
😍😍
supermodel that sounds like mick jagger.
love it thanks, what circuit is this ?
Spa Francorchamps! You're welcome :)
per conto mio con questo suono può fare anche i 50kmh
Just think, one day they will all be electric racing cars! The silence will be deafening! 😔
in dit type auto verongelukte Lucien Bianchi tijdens de Le Mans training in 1969, later reden Toine Hezemans en Gijs van Lennep in dit type.
Wailing v8 alert!
Imagine the future when everything is electric, Le Mans racers whizzing by in total silence, awesome racing for the first 45 minutes when all the cars are charged, then the pit stops start where they will be parked for an hour and a half to recharge back to 85% charge, then about an hour of racing before it's back to the pits for another recharge.. Almost no overtaking on the track but everyone is excited to see which team had the best strategy for recharging - yup, that's the future of racing, watching recharge graphs..
Sounds similar to Porsche's 3 liter flat 8 motor
Does anyone know what car is at 1:07?
Lola T70 www.motorsportretro.com/2015/11/immortal-designs-of-the-sixties-lola-t70/
That is delicious ! Absolute food for the ears…mmmmm
Matras are far louder than that...
Well that's why I called the video the loudest "Alfa Romeo" ever, right? Matras are a lot more high pitched, which tends to sound louder. Yet I can assure you that in decibels this Alfa wouldn't be far from it.
Boxer or V Engine?
Pretty sure it's a V12
Alfa Romeo, the only reason why Ferrari exists.
They sadly lost the right path in these years. I do hope to see them come back like a train and re-earn the respect and place it deserve.
hopefully we will see them in f1 again some day, but i don't expect we will.
+Let's R90CK Some time ago there were speculations aboyt Alfa thinking about joining F1. We never heard any more news about it, tho
I hope they don´t do F1 or DTM because those are pretty much boring series where politics are more important than racing. I´d like to see them back in GT or sportscars.
+Michael Westen maybe you are right man. Historic Racing is enough for now, given how awesome it is.
@@letsr90ck87 well we had them briefly!
If these beautiful noises from Alfa Romeo T-33 cars thrill you, why not visit the largest Alfa Romeo racing site in the entire world: www.AutodeltaGoldenYears.com . The site is divided into the construction of the cars, the actual chronology of the cars from 1963-1978, interviews with the drivers, a new Formula 1 page and many, many more features offered to you in three languages: Italian, German and English. Dozens of inside the factory images that were taken with the permission of the Director General of the racing division. Enjoy and Thank you, Robert
Loudest Alfa? Try Alfa tipo 158 or Alfetta
WTH is that guy doing with the blue flag? You either pop it up momentarily, holding it up by two ends, or hold it up thus, moving it side-to-side. Whatta noob!
Very noise.
