I was born 1949, was a teenager through the '60s and lived with cars like the Morris Minor and Ford Anglia, can you imagine the impact that these cars had on me, Ferrari P4, 312p, GT40 and most of all Lamborghini Miura.
Completely true. They showed us, and the rest of the world, what a car should look like, sound like, and what it should be like to drive. Cars like the McLaren F1 road and the Ferrari La Ferrari are a living homage to cars like this one. Ford are making a GT that goes well but looks just like a GT-40. Why? Because this was a golden age of cars. Does a Pagani Huayra look like a modern car? No, it looks like a LeMans car of 1973...
I always used to think the 250GTO was the most beautiful car ever made, but having seen this, I have changed my mind. Absolutely, jaw-dropping gorgeous! Oh, and it makes a rather nice noise, too! ;-)

A photo of this car in an old Cavallino magazine feature on Pierre Bardinon's car collection is what got me interested in Le Mans racing 20 or so years ago. Glad to see that it sounds even better than it looks. I love it. Thanks for the vid.
Do you know the 330 P4? It's older, but it's a legend: Daytona 24h, Monza 1000 km and World Championship winner in 1967. I think it is the most beautiful Sport Prototype ever built.

Ferrari gave the 312P coupes to NART, for the 1970 season.
AFTER the ran them the last half of the 1969 season, in Europe....
The 312Ps were not SEFAC entries for Daytona 1970
My friend Tony Adamowicz was one of the NART drivers that year.
And the next, in the 512S and then 512M....
With Ronnie Bucknam, Sam Posey and Chuck Parsons.
Among others....
Would drive the NART 365GBT/4s many more races
I attended the two Florida enduros, 1964 to 1972...
Where were YOU?
***** first of all you've just confirmed what i said, furthermore I did make the mistake of accuracy that ferrari entered it at daytona but that does not change the fact that won in class at daytona. and thats cool that you knew someone driving for NART at the time, did you ever get close to any of the cars? and finally yes i know ferrari gave the cars to NART. but had ferrari extended more factory support to the team in 1970 the 312 P could have absolutely dominate the 3 litre class. it was fast and agile and with more development it could have gone a long way.
This Car is Pure SEXY.
