This car much like its Chevy counterpart was an icon of 90s American Muscle, but just like the Camaro (4th gen) it suddenly faded into obscurity (tbf, part of this was probably due to Pontiac getting shutdown). I miss this car and I’m miffed that Playground still didn’t make this car or the Camaro playable in any of the Horizon games despite them having the Model from Motorsport 6 and 7 available for use.

Oh yes, these were the cars that started my obsession with going fast. I got my first F-Body, a 1994 25th Anniversary Trans-Am LT1 w/6-speed when I was 17 in 1996. My second F-Body was/is a 2002 Firehawk Trans-Am LS1 w/6-speed. Both cars were legendary for their time and I still have them. They are in pristine condition today. What a sad time 2002 was for me and my F-Body crew. I have played every single one of these games. I love Forza the most. It's a shame Gran Turismo 7 doesn't feature these cars but 15 different Honda's.
I'm still driving fast American muscle cars today and I see no reason to ever stop. Not three weeks ago I retired my 2012 SS Camaro as my daily driver and picked up a yellow and black 2017 Dodge Challenger RT Classic. I have done some very minor modifications to her and I'm now pushing 440hp@425 ft.lb. of torque. Not bad for a daily driver V8 that's getting 26-27mpg easy. I could get it to the 30mpg mark but I would lose some power. Excellent video.

I mean GT7 is made by a Japanese studio so it only makes sense that they favor Japanese cars.

Really...because Forza isn't like that nor has it ever been in the past. We have always had a decent mix of the very best cars of the era per class. That's what makes it a good driving game. Hell, Gran Turismo 1-4 all had a great mix of cars albeit they always screwed up the engine sounds terribly back then. An SS Camaro with 900 horses doesn't sound like a Honda Civic.
No, the problem with GT7 is they jumped the shark with Lamborghini, Ferrari, and all the other supercars. The main draw of Gran Turismo was always affordable cars for everyday that are pushed to their absolute limits in various principles across the racing world. So they packed it full of supercars and Honda's.

@@Sinn0100 Well, I’m not talking about Forza, so that’s irrelevant. GT had always have much more Japanese cars over the others. Remember the multitude of Skylines? Miatas? Civics? Most of the car list, even in the classic games, had always been filled mostly with Nissans/Hondas/Toyotas/Mazdas, as well as the racing/special models of said cars. Sometimes other manufacturers’ line up seem to be like an afterthought, like the BMW and Merc’s line up in GT2. American cars in particular were never exactly focused all that much in GT games.

No it's not irrelevant at all especially when you make a statement that because game X is from Japan they don't do Y, which is false. I used Forza as an example of this as it is the direct competitor to Gran Turismo. I went onto use Gran Turismo 1-4 as an example as well. Just because a game was made in a specific region doesn't preclude its content.
Yes, I remember the Nissan Skylines' in Gran Turismo 1-4 as I was there from day one for every single game. I also remember the large selection of the best selling American cars featured as well and they didn't miss one from my memory. From Camaro, Firebird, Trans-Am, a few Corvettes, Lingenfelter, Cobra, Saleen, Taurus SHO, Viper, Hennessey, AMG...they were all present and accounted for. Even cars that barely sold because they were a limited run made it in (SLP Firehawk Trans-Am and the Saleen Mustang anyone). If said cars were sought after for their speed, handling, power, potential, ect...you could always find them in Gran Turismo or a comparable car of like body. As an example- Because we're talking about Dodge they had the Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4 instead of the Dodge Stealth R/T (they're virtually the same car). Gran Turismo 7's development team dropped the ball big time as the Challenger is the best selling muscle car in the US for 10 years running. How does one excuse that? For God's sake it's the very last true American muscle car left as both the Camaro and Mustang look European. They do not have any of the body flair or smooth designs American muscle cars have or had. That's why I didn't buy another Camaro for my daily driver.
Addendum- When I was in my late teens Gran Turismo (partly) helped me pick my very first fast car. I got a 1994 25th Anniversary Trans-Am LT1 w/6-speed in 1997 when I was 17. For the time period that car was stupid fast and with a cast iron block she took one helluva beating. I pushed her well over 500hp at the wheels and she held together. I did it again when I bought my 2002 Firehawk Trans-Am LS1 w/6-speed in 2002 and she also flies. I didn't even know what a Firehawk or Blackbird Trans-Am was until Gran Turismo 2 educated me on special education cars. I remember seeing the M Spec Nur Skyline and thinking what other cars have special editions and do they all add more power? Viola...I found my Firehawk and the rest is history.

My first car, love how it at least got some good attention in the mainline Forza series. Never played Juiced, but I remember seeing it in Sega GT and NFS High Stakes.
Cool videos though, fun to watch every game cars have been in.

Yes, Juiced Eliminator is capped to 20fps on a real PSP. It's a terrible port.

I didn't even know that was a thing, god dammit!
EDIT: Then again, I think I should show it without the fix to give an idea of what playing the is like on its own. Don't you think so?
