I think Tylee had an amazing radar for whacky ppl. Tylee was not exactly like a regular teenager. Most teenagers at the age of 16 are involved in their High School’s activities, look forward to proms/dances, High School pep rallies, Football/Basketball games. They might take a part time job or volunteer. Tylee had been ill a lot of her life, & she helped a lot with JJ ( with joy in her heart ). Tylee received her GED, So She did not go to High School, no dances, proms, pep rallies, Football/Basketball games. My heart hurts for Tylee bc imo she needed compassion, empathy, & love. MG could have just reached out to Tylee & shown herself to be caring & kind. Tylee had a lot on those little 16 yr old shoulders. 🥺😢💔

I wonder how these people so deeply involved in this can live with themselves. Melanie Gibb, David, Zulema, Melanie P.... anyone of these people could have stopped this before all these people died. It is so disturbing to hear Melanie Gibb talking about this casually like she was selecting a dinner entre off a menu. Innocent people died because they did nothing.
So deep into their self-preservation cult they put logic & responsibility aside, contributing to this by DOING NOTHING. Lessons learned even if too late for those lost to this horror.

@@101GM8 I'm sure there was a plea deal, hence the phone call wasn't played. In all honesty if she had to be let go (let her live with herself) in order to convict Chad and Lori, it's a livable solution.
I am shocked that she is not in trouble from the church. Her beliefs went sideways compared to LDS, as did her now husband. She was trying to recruit ppl to their group, and it was all done in secret, The Church did not know. This recording proves she as guilty. She knew Charles died bc he was a “zombie”. Then she heard Lori call her 2 kids zombies & yet did nothing! 💔😢

I am appalled at Melanie. She is playing the innocent when she is not. All these innocent people were killed, and she acted like she didn’t care at all. What a horrible person.
Why is Melanie Gibb not in prison with Lori and Chad?She knew what was happening and she didn't report it to the police .. She asked Sherrie not to repeat it because she knew that she was wrong.This is sickening!!
She no doubt was granted immunity for her role in the murders, same as that Zulema woman.
Gibb knew before the fact that Charles and the children were going to be killed and remained silent, which is totally abhorrent and the actions of a truly evil person.
IMO Melanie Gibb was a terrible witness in Lori’s case. Either she is getting dementia, or she’s faking it, but she denies knowing a lot! The defense attorney even asks her if she’s always that forgetful. “Well, it was Monday or it could have been Wednesday, I really can’t say when it was. I just don’t remember. My friend had a nightmare, so I went to Lori’s room to get her to call Chad to get him a blessing. I might have called, or maybe I texted her, but I really think I went to her room, I might have knocked, but I think I tried to just go in, but her door was locked. “ She had a great deal to testify to, but often she didn’t even make sense. I definitely wouldn’t invite her to the next hook up weekend if she was going to barge into my bedroom during the night without even knocking! The whole thing was just bazar!
Knowledge that a crime as ocurred or is even about to ocurr is not a crime. You have absolutlely no criminal responsibiity to report. Now your moral responsibility should be different IMO but apparently they would disagree.

She was given immunity to testify. As she has “forgotten” most everything, her immunity deal should be off the table and her butt be charged with accessory to murder or conspiracy to commit.
Why aren’t the cops interested in these calls? Her immunity deal should be out the window as Gibb lied!

I really feel for this poor lady. She has sadly, through absolutely no fault of her own, been caught up this terrible affair. MG has a lot to answer for.

One of the most chilling things Mel Gibb says is “[JJ] wasn’t even her kid. She adopted him… he was a drug baby.” Adoption makes someone your child!! That’s what adoption is! And I believe JJ went to live with Lori & Charles when he was just 8 months old. If I remember correctly, it took until he was 2 years old before the adoption was complete. So they were his parents for almost his entire life. And to say he was a drug baby makes me want to “hit [her] in the face with a shovel!” 😡😡

The one that you mentioned above about “JJ being a drug baby“ absolutely makes my head want to 🤯 explode!!
The other one is when she starts to talk about Tylee, (who we know at the time of this recording has been brutally, murdered mind you), when she states “Tylee didn’t like me well, she didn’t like anyone…“.
I’m sorry what grade are we in? You act like you are a cheerleader on the school bus gossiping with a friend about something innocuous… (And this is no shade to a cheerleaders, I’m just picking a random teenage girl as an example).

Listen, after growing up tangled up in her mother’s deceitful life and watching Lori become convinced she was a goddess, Tylee was probably not accepting of the religious beliefs that Chad was teaching. She was traumatized by Charles’ murder. It’s quite possible that Tylee was not a friendly, sweet teenager. Who in her position would be???

Zulema was given limited immunity. Melanie Gibb was given zero immunity. MG's statements and recollections change so much to the point she had limited value for either the defense or prosecution on the stand except for that recorded phone call.
@@101GM8 I didn't hear why not explained in this video. I wonder if the reason is because Sheri's tape is not necessary to get a conviction against Lori. Maybe the way it was recorded might prevent it from being entered in Lori or Chad's trial? The prosecution is going after Lori and Chad only, now that Alex is dead. We likely all believe more accountability should be held by those in the cult but unless the other cult members are directly confessing to crimes and there is collaborating evidence? It might be hard to get a conviction. The burden is beyond reasonable doubt, after all, and this cult stuff is so crazy it's hard to believe even half of what we know was proved to be 100% accurate.
Melanie Gibb and David Warwick are not forthcoming because they know they may hold liability. I also don't believe either one of them is seriously deprogramming from "the cult" because although they may not have followed every teaching, they do still have fringe beliefs that were part of the cult.
I really appreciate hearing Sheri's story. I hope she continues her healing path from the trauma she experienced and enjoys a support group of people where she feels heard and safe. We all need this to thrive. Best to her and her sons!

I have a strong feeling Tylee's pancreatitis was caused by Lori. That woman is desperate to be seen as a martyr. Once she had a special needs son Tylee didn't have pancreatitis attacks anymore because Lori had a new disabled child & now needed a healthy baby sitter.
You know what, you make a great point. It keeps coming across my mind that I'm still surprised she adopted JJ. At first I thought well she has Charles, so it's not just her... BUT as we learn she was ready to be rid of him and say he really was only related to Charles and Kay (before she decided to murder everyone).. A psychologist felt strongly that the children might have been coached. A judge awarded tylees dad unsupervised visits which would have never happened had there truly been abuse.

@@HiddenTrueCrime unfortunately I was a "moody" (mistreated and frustrated by it, is more accurate) teenager like Tylee. And I REMEMBER feeling and being on the receiving end of that kind of contempt... from my own mother sadly. I relate to this case a lot.

The people who stood by, knowing what was going on, and did not notify authorities are NOT gullible! They are accomplices in a CRIME. They should be dealt with by the authorities accordingly.

Melanie Gibb really bothers me. She only did something when Lori told the police she had JJ. It’s seems like, not getting in trouble was the thing that turned MG against Lori. She should have helped Charles, because she knew he was telling the truth. I hope AZ does something. Even a small charge would be something. 🤷🏻♀️

I’m sad listening to Melanie Gibb talking about her experience with Chad & Lori. MG acknowledging zombies, knowing who Lori claimed were zombies and yet MG DID NOTHING! She is guilty of not protecting the children & Tammy after Charles died, imo. This conversation proves it. The fact that her current husband still speaks about his “Special Gifts” ( I listened to the trial & David tried to down play it, yet he WAS in CHAD’S GROUP BIG TIME WITH MELANIE GIBB ) is terrifying to me. 💔💔💔💔💔🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺

She messed with her kids heads, fed them processed garbage for food replacements, & drug them through 5 failed marriages, took their money, etc! That is not a good mom! So sick of anyone describing her as a Mom let alone a good 1! I don't trust Mel G as far as I can throw her! She kept herself in this & aided Lori until she couldn't anymore!

This was shocking to me! I wasn't sure how involved she actually was in this, but now it's evident, and to think she could've saved those kids by just going to the police with all she knew, instead she sensors what she said, and distanced herself to save her own self...She seemed really off to me for some reason anyway and now I see why...Wow!! Now I'm even thinking that Zulema more then likely did the same thing...I hope their consciences eat at them everyday!! They're just as much to blame!!

Glad to see you posting this again as this interview was so captivating! I can’t commend Sharie enough, and I hope she’s aware of the support and community behind her. 💕 She’s a wonderful person with a genuine heart & a sincere faith - which is a breath of goodness in this wild case. PS: you are not at all gullible. People are deceiving and manipulative.
I really struggle with the fact that Melanie reportedly has a special needs child but appears so removed from actual children - such as Tylee & JJ. Wouldn’t she have more of a heart towards JJ given his special needs? I can’t wrap my head around her indifference towards either one of the kids but especially towards JJ.
Beyond all that - after Melanie Gibb & David Warwick’s testimony this past week…. I’m even MORE suspicious of them! I wholeheartedly believe David’s “nightmare” was actually them hearing suspicious things in the apartment. Then the fact Melanie went to retrieve Lori & Chad but couldn’t find them is so sketchy and would get anyone’s mind running after him not being seen in the morning; then later dead in Chad’s yard. I also find it unbelievable that David just accidentally watched 45 min. of Melanie’s testimony before a check from his conscience… what a crock of BS. He was likely seeing what she was saying so he knew what to say and that worries me as far as appeals go. 😅
I’m rambling here so kudos to those who made it this far, but does anyone know when David and Melanie got married? The testimony was confusing and I find it odd they still don’t live together nor in the same state. I also saw that in April ‘21 they supposedly had a disagreement among families and split. I wonder what that might’ve been about and if that was the cause to live separately. Wouldn’t be shocked if a divorce comes after Chad’s trial.
I have had some of these same thoughts. David never said "what his night mare was about I agree about David's involvement too. Melanie, David & zulema were involved with all these deaths.
@@Kathysmith123 and I also can’t get past the fact that not just one adult but a GROUP of adults could hear a parent talk about their child’s likely short life (JJ) or hear of a spouse speak on their healthy spouse’s expected death (Tammy) and DO NOTHING to push back on it, report it, anything. But in fact just *voluntarily* stick around to see it come to fruition. Makes me sick.
Mel told LE in AZ that they married 12/12/21 or maybe 22? She laughed that someone commented 12 x 12 = 144....

I can’t get over any of this! Melanie G says - Put your seatbelt on - ( after saying several people have died ) . The “seatbelt” was needed bc She was now a part of the bigger picture. I CANNOT believe she didn’t call police right away! Insane!

The fact that Melanie Gib-Warwick called an acquaintance not knowing if she would or wouldn't record their conversation speaks volumes. Just knowing Melanie could have saved Charles' , Tylee's, Jj's and Tammy's lives is so uncontionabl. There must be something wrong with Melanie, why wouldn't you go to the police instead of helping Lori steal Charles' truck and clothing and then prentend not to know what Lori was up to when Charles' confronted her face to face. She had the nerve to hug Charles' and pretend she didn't know what Lori was up to? Uncontionabl. Prayers to the family members and victims. Thank you for playing this again.

I had never heard this interview or phone call before. I didn't know it was possible for me to think even less of Melanie Gibb. Unnamed conspirator.
Even if Melanie was promised immunity, she could still be charged with perjury if she lied on the stand!
I think Gibb and Warwick are both very suspect in all of this. As part of the inner circle and being there the night JJ went missing, they have a lot to explain. Gibb admits in this phone call that she suspected Tylee was dead because of the "creepy look" Lori gave her when she said she asked and was told that Tylee was at BYUI and yet never alerted authorities. She also knew that Charles was murdered, didn't alert authorities, and continued her relationship with Lori and Chad. The phone call they recorded with Chad and Lori sounds like nothing more than a CYA attempt. If Lori hadn't sent the police to Melanie looking for JJ, Melanie probably would have kept quiet. That phone call and her interview with Nate Eaton both appear to be her trying to get in front of the story before she's implicated. I hope that after Lori and Chad are convicted the full story comes out. Jail birds often sing. I think Melanie know this too, and that's why her testimony was so vague. She's walking a tightrope.
I never fell for Mel G’s “pretty lady in pink” interview with Nate Eaton. She looked like she was dodging truth. She came across as guilty and was trying to distance herself before she was arrested herself. I can kind of understand why this Shari put her on a pedestal because Mel is confident and engaging. She’s probably quite persuasive.

This is the 2nd time I have heard this interview and a few Big Thoughts are Occurring to me. Melanie G seems to be looking for a "safe" person to "vent / confess" to. She needs support and now that her Spiritual Sister and BFF is exposed as being a selfish lustful killer mom - - it is easy to see why she poured out her story and important facts to Sharie. Also the theme of Melanie G being so flippant and lacking feeling comes across big time. She had little interest or warmth towards Lori's kids. I also think that the whole nightmare thing that DW describes, in the house, that night is just a scapegoat to distance themselves, I believe they actually heard something because a. it was a small house & b. a 7 year old, autistic child would be loud, if someone was hurting or holding them down, unless they drugged him, still, if they did drug him, there would still be unusual noises, doors opening and closing, it would be early morning, sound travels more at night that during the daytime. Also their podcast was between 9 - 12pm, so it must have been after that. DW and MG went to bed and then they heard something concerning and decided not to get involved, or made excuses for not calling 911 about their experiences that night, they then attributed it all to a nightmare to distance themselves as I said before.

I was appalled by the things MG was saying in that phone call. She knew what was happening in some aspects of this and had suspicions about other things and waited and waited to go to police. The horrible way she talked about JJ not being Lori's kid because he was adopted, the things she said about Tylee, and she KNEW Lori was plotting Charle's death, according to what MG said of conversations she had with Lori prior to Charle's murder. Just appalling.

I've actually wondered if Shari has considered doing another interview. I noticed from listening to the interview she had with you that she has suffered in ways that only a very small fraction of the population is even aware of. I've been studying a very specific issue for 10 yrs and I couldnt shake off the sense that Shari has suffered firsthand experience from it.
I have been praying and praying for such details to be brought to the attention of the masses. Unfortunately, there is a well established deep network of protection to keep such dark secrets guarded at all costs. My heart aches for Shari. There is much I could learn from her.

Melanie could have told the police and helped Charles she knew that Lori wanted to kill him. She doesn’t seem to have much feelings for Lori’s kids either and only talked to the police when she might get in trouble. Who just stays quiet when your friend talks about wanting people dead and that their kids are zombies just gossiping instead of doing something about the info you know. She knew they were killing people and just acts so nonchalant about it.

The point she made about the phone call Melanie G recorded of L&C and them suspecting Mel was recording, I picked up on that too. She was asking questions that Lori knew good and well Mel should already know the background and answers to! She's (Mel) a mealymouthed hypocrite and bald faced liar.. And in her early interview with Nate, the way she spoke of Tylee made me so upset.

I can't imagine how triggering this was for Sharie. Listening to her story, it must have pushed on all her PTSD trigger points, which would have been agonising. When you have PTSD you usually have a hightened sense of fight, flight or freeze. Triggers are signals to get as far away from that trigger point as possible. It's purely self protection. Even though at times, you know it's illogical to do so. Despite that, she worked through it, and absolutely did the right thing in handing that over to the Police. I want to thank her, it was the right thing to do, but i absolutely understand the complexity she faced personally in being put in that position. No words for Melanie, i think this just highlights the injustice for me in plea deals tbh. In a fair and just legal system, she would be on the stand too.
I think JJ was already dead when Alex brought him home “sleeping” on his shoulder, and he took him up to bed, apparently in Lori’s room. Then later Lori doesn’t answer the knock on her door and the door is locked??? She and Chad and Alex had taken JJ to the property for burial at that time, imho.
It's unlikely he was dead then as when they did the autopsy they could tell from the position of his legs he had struggled - after he was bound with tape. He also had bruising on his arms which they believe were indicative of a struggle. Neither child died a peaceful death.

She probably helped Lori move Charles’ stuff out of the house and she knew that Lori and chad were having an affair and they wanted Charles out of the way. She’s a co conspirator to all the crimes. She knew they were calling them zombies and zombies ended up dead. She never called the police or raise any questions as to these people like what are you doing Lori this is wrong to kill people.
