It's a shame how not many know of this legend. Completely underrated.
That's when you know you met a new NFL fan
Denver Fan I know right videos based on him only get like 100k views.
One of my top 2 all time sports heros
Ive seen TONS of sports greats here in st louis
2 of the best MEN sports has ever seen:
Stan the Man Musial
KURT WARNER
"K DUB" FOREVER
#13 FOREVER
true
Besides these highlights. I guess the movie will have to do.
How the hell can you not like Kurt Warner? Guy was amazing.
pure class too, especially you know what he went through..
After watching American underdog came here to watch his highlights! what a legend!
Watching this reminds me that Warner had maybe the most deadly deep field accuracy in NFL history. If he had someone to throw to, and just a little protection, that threat alone just paralyzed other teams.
Very true
true that, wasnt anywhere he couldnt put the rock
his deep ball is so underrated. it's one of the best ever
QBs these days had nothing on Warner a real gun slanger
Yo I almost wanted to cry when it showed the pass to Larry Fitzgerald for a touchdown lead in Super Bowl XLIII WE SHOULD'VE WON
:(
As a rams fan i rooted for you guys because of warner
But my steelers stole it from fitz 😤
Nah they lost. Steelers played better even if it was just by a hair
Nah, Steelers are too clutch
Kurt is one of my favorite QBs of all time. Not afraid to sling those deep, accurate bombs. He played with class and style. Not to mention that he's a good guy and a God-fearing man.
Met him once when he was out with a broken thumb, want to say it was 2003 or so after he effectively lost the job to Bulger in STL. He was out with an underprivileged kid, on his own. Super nice guy, man of God, immense talent. Should have three rings but that doesn't diminish this man at all.
@@PeteNice29 There are only a handful of history's players that I'd like to meet. He is one of them. Peace.
Kurt reminds me of Dan Fouts, both stand in the pocket and get hit
just to get the ball out. Kurt is my favorite, Dan a close second .
Brock purdy throwing style kinda
Man his run with the cardinals one of the most impressive things I've ever seen
Two words.... "Class Act"
Kurt warner threw such a beautiful pass. Just perfect spiral looked like it didn't even spin as it flew through the air
He was fun to watch sling that football. The greatest show on turf was exciting. He made Arizona a decent team.
Goes to superbowl
Oh there "decent" smh
Although I'm a Bills fan, I admit that Warner is one of my favorite quarterbacks of all time. He could consistently throw a highly accurate deep ball unlike any other NFL quarterback I've ever seen.
He had awesome touch on his deep ball. I agree. He was deadly. Go Bills !
I loved Kurt Warner. He very easily could of won every super bowl he played in. Came so close vs the patriots and Steelers which would of made him the first qb to win a Super Bowl with 2 different teams. In fact, all of his super bowls were some of the best in nfl history. Cardinals vs the Steelers is the best super bowl I’ve ever seen. One of the best qbs to ever play no question. Not only was he part of the greatest offense in league history, but if he was 3-0 in the big game he would be top 10 all time for sure
I cannot go to a NFL video without anybody mentioning Tom Brady or Aaron Rodgers in the comment section
lol true
Chad AZ Usually something to do with the cowboys is mentioned as well.
Yet Drew brees will be the one retiring with all the quarterback records.
Chad AZ or the fake troll accounts
lala palmer Uhhh... the fake troll accounts
I grew up watching the Rams in StL. Though relatively short lived, it was unreal how dominant they were for a time. I rooted for Kurt in Arizona too. He and the Greatest Show on Turf are forever legends.
I've just recently heard about this guy because of the new movie. Damn, I don't think I've ever seen a QB throw that many bombs.
" Kurt was 5-2 and then we benched him for the kid (Eli manning) and we proceed to lose 7 straight games "- giants coach 2005
That kid beat the "goat" twice. Where's kurts rings? Oops... lel you talking to the back to back pats champion. Get a grip.
elite manning_2-0 Kurt warner has a ring and 2 mvps where is Elis top scoring offense or greates offense of all time?
I can't believe they benched Warner for Elitard manning.
DieHardSportsFan92 And got 2 Super Bowl rings out of the deal. I would say they made the right choice.
Xavier Vega they got two Super Bowls from their elite defense and coaching staff, make no mistake about it. Kurt Warner is much better than Eli.
At a certain point it became a Larry Fitzgerald highlight reel
Bro facts Larry was just that much better than Tory
That's what the great QBs do. When they got a guy like that they feed him. It just shows how smart Kurt was
You could throw a ball in Fitzgeralds general direction and get a TD
@@ChandlerBecker Leinart sure couldn't
@@davet2459 cryinggggggg XD. Literally was a dark time with that man
As a Falcon fan now i see why i respected kurt warner so much growing up .. Everytime he came to the dome he put on a show his record against us was crazy even when he went to the cardinals .. Probably my favorite quarterback
Larry fitz easily HOF
Colm Mcneil nice...
Kurt will go down as one of the greatest Rams Quarterbacks! #GreatestShowOnTurf
same thing with the cards
MR. Eugene he's more of a ram
Take a way what he did with the Cardinals.....he'll still be considered a Hall of Famer....take away what he did with the Rams........he won't even be in discussion. He is a Ram. Let's just call Peyton Manning a bronco now......or Marshal Faulk a Colt! Hey! We can even say that Brett Favre is a Viking!
skater102223111 He's both. Kurt did something very special for both teams and cities and their communities. As a Ram fan I rooted for Kurt when he was a Cardinal.
skater102223111 of course he wouldn't be in the discussion for HOF if you only look at his years with the cardinals, he only started like 40 games with them, but that doesn't mean he didn't perform at a HOF level
The man won the NFC championship and went to SB with the cards the cards...the cards just that alone qualifies him and almost won that too incredible talent one of the goats Imo congrats Mr Warner long overdue
My all-time favorite QB by far. Before the current day Chiefs offense, there was the Greatest Show on Turf.
Warner, Faulk, Bruce, Holt and more. It was unbelievable to watch each and every week.
Proehl, Hakim in the slot, you couldn't predict anything.
GOAT when it comes to Undrafted player turn legend.
Amazing man on and off the field
Greatest undrafted player of all time!
thank you kurt for bringing us a super bowl , i stayed up late watching this super bowl back when i was a kid and it was worth it. GO RAMS !!!!!
Most underrated QB ever
Love how in every rams highlight, they have the lead WHAT A OFFENSE!
I've always respected kurt, but after watching his movie American Underdog? Wow, truly inspiring.
Kurt Warner. Total class act. Great to see someone like him. 🏈
Kurt reminds me so much of Marino and his set up reads and throwing motion.
I've been watching football for a long time now---Warner was one of the most accurate qb's to ever play the game. It never seemed to matter that his receivers were often double-covered, he'd still make the completion.
A great QB. One of my favorites Legends of NFL.
He had some sick dudes catching the ball, Isaac Bruce, Tory Holt, Marshall Faulk, Anquan Boldin, & Larry Fitzgerald.
Ger Rit and faulk lol
Exactly, nothing really special about him. Overrated.
Shizmoo If anything he's underrated. His leadership and pure talent propelled two franchises to the Super Bowl. I don't know what was going on with the Giants, though.
I hated that team in madden , always tried trading for holt and fuckers would never give him up lol
Well, that sure didn't hurt to have talent around him. lol.
Best highlight reel ever. I can watch warner sling it all dayy
Kurt Warner was the best quarterback the Rams ever had
You'd think Fitzgerald was the only receiver on the Cardinals in this video.
Anquan Boldin don’t exist?
One of the best there ever was ! To bad he didn't come in earlier and be younger than what he was ! But the fact is arena football taught him a lot. Kurt Warner and the Rams truly changed the way the offense play games.... which we see today.
im french and im not a américan football fan. but i saw his first super bowl with saint Louis. i remember the ball was floating in the air as a éternity when hé shooted. hé is the man Who Make me like this game.
Larry Fitzgerald deserves a ring
Come to chief's
Jasmine Tuvlin no
Love you Kurt. Your the one bought me closer to the game and the reason why I’m a Ram until this day. Your dope my man.
I think the narrow field and speed of the game in arena football made him really good
Kurt was my hero as a kid. I was speechless when I got to meet him at the cards training camp in Flagg. Also met his son Zach, nice kid
Warner to Fitzgerald was one of the best QB WR duos of my childhood and I always love seeing their highlights together. It makes me happy to see Warner in the HOF, hopefully Fitz can get a ring before he joins him
I loved Warners deep ball. effortless really , damn howitzer for an arm.
Loved hearing Pat Summeral make some of these calls. He could say so much with so few words.
Oh and Warner's awesome too.
Kurt Warner was a beast!!!
Another example of "Never judge a book by its cover." Kurt "Cinderella Man" Warner. Can't wait to see his biopic.
Perhaps the toughest quarterback of all time. And I’m not just talking about physically but those hits you took were brutal Kurt. Thank you for letting us experience your greatness.
AMAZING!!!
Kurt’s such a great guy and has such an amazing story. Huge fan.
Well deserved, Kurt is a legend
On of the best stories ever out of the NFL. Kurt Warner. 🙏
I saw that pass to Proehl in the NFC championship live. It was one of the most unbelievable and exciting plays I've ever seen. So was the game. That year was magical. StL was one big happy family and we came to party.
Kurt warner> whole browns organization
Funny thing is the Browns could have taken him in the expansion draft in '99
Comedy Skits hey now Joe Thomas is a 1 ballet hof lol
Comedy Skits what about Jim Brown
DjzaireOTF 2 currently now entire history of browns
Comedy Skits www
So awesome
Its amazing he was born and raised in iowa that's where I live I've even played at the school he used to go REGIS it's just cool to know Kurt Warner possibly was standing where I was
Both Warner and Fitzgerald are highly underrated
This Raider fan congratulate Kurt Warner for making the "bag boy" into the Hall of Fame!! Congrats.
He was incredible just a dime machine. Great offensive minded and creative Mike Martz helped along with the top notch wR core but what he did with AZ cards and that run to the super bowl validated his elite play . One of my favs
Even though I’m a Bears fan, I loved how Kurt Warner threw a football and admired his performances with both St. Louis and Arizona.
ONE OF THE GREATEST SPEECHES EVER!
Kurt Warner threw the most beautiful deep ball I’ve ever seen.
Amazing man. Great player. Faithful husband.
Much respect
That Warner Fitz connection was straight magic, miss it.
To think Kurt was stocking shelves and playing arena football before joining the greatest show on turf. Truly inspiring!
How many QBs have had a season of where they threw for over 4 thousand yards and and 40 TD's Won league MVP Superbowl MVP and won the superbowl all in the same season. Nit to mention Breaking the passing yard record in that superbowl. I'm guessing not to many have had seasons quite like that.
An amazing story.
kurt always made receivers look better
LOL he had Isaac Bruce, Torry Holt, Larry Fitzgerald and Anquan Boldin. If anything it's the other way around.
@@xaviervega468 Bolden wasn't the same after he left Arizona. Was still good with the Ravens but not great
@@xaviervega468 The good old times. : )
The good old times. : )
He had one of the best route runners in NFL history with Bruce. Holt was no slouch. Then Boldin and Fitz...
I’m a huge Warner fan, but let’s not get carried away. He had some incredible weapons at his disposal. Didn’t even mention Faulk, who could catch and run routes as well as many WR’s in the game. Hakim is the only WR I can think of from that Rams team where you could make the argument that Warner made him look better than he really was.
My University classmate, not only a brilliant athlete but an excellent Communication scholar and a great friend!
One of my favorite hall of fame qb's. Mainly because of his story.
Well I am glad they made a movie about Kurt Warner about his unusual way to the NFL and you still have to admit Kurt Warner had one of the most beautiful long passes ever thrown in the NFL history books and that's the reason why that pat summerall and the great John Madden said this is the greatest show on turf
I love hearing Madden's reactions
the unsung hero
Why aren't we talking about some these Fitz catches? Damn! Lol but congrats #13. Special player with a great story.
I think Fitzgerald is up there with Moss when it comes to jump ball catches and doesn't bring drama. Torry Holt had route running like Jerry Rice.
One of the most underrated to do it
Legend!
Best blitz QB of all time
Dude had a cannon for an arm, and that 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, hitch, hitch throw looks so much like Montana, with a lot more zip on the ball.. just perfect.
He could really hit those receivers in stride. Great QB
Kurt Warner may be the GOAT of undrafted, unsigned, and ignored free agents in the modern era of football.
He took the Arizona Cardinals to the Superbowl-- who had only 2 playoff wins in their 50+ year history to that point.
He took the "same old, sorry ass rams" to the Superbowl for the second time in their history --
Ask yourself - what have the Cardinals or Rams been since he left? Cardinals got close in 2015. so they might get back someday, but I don't see it happening for the Rams for a long time.
My other GOAT for undrafted, modern players is Wes Welker - I think he's a better slot receiver than Romo was a QB
50 year history huh? The cardinals are the oldest NFL franchise dating back to 1898 , hence the 100 year commemorative patch they wore in 1998
that's why I said 50+ year history -- I didn't know how old the actual franchise was. I knew they'd been around since the 50's but not before that. Do you know if the Chicago Bears or the Green Bay Packers are 100 yet?
+paysonfox88 Honestly I dont know. Im a cardinals fan so I know a lil more about my team. I believe da bears packers and lions were all established in the 1920s
The franchise encyclopedia for the Cardinals only goes back to 1920 or 1919 depending on the source. Mabe in the pre-NFL era, the Cardinals existed for a span.
My own knowledge only went back the the 1960 "St.Louis Cardinals" when they moved there from Chicago. As far as I knew, the only football team in town was the Bears. the 50-60 yr estimate was based on the
St. Louis Cardinals . I assumed that they had started in the 60's and moved to Phoenix in 1988
W
One of the best quarterbacks I've ever watched growing up.
Man, Warner throws one of the most beautiful deep balls I’ve ever seen.
Kurt Warner is an incredible QB and a stand up human being.
My fav QB of all time!
When I was young I had madden 09 with my ps3 and I didn’t even know Kurt Warner was a thing but how my ps3 doesn’t work and I wish, I just wish someone would remaster one of the old maddens , like 07 08 09 or 10 so I could play wit Kurt . And uhh mans a legend
Most fun team to watch.... most of their games were like a living video games...what a team... Marshall Faulk, Issac Bruce, Torry Holt... what a team... one of the most accurate passers ever... He 24 games with 4 or less incompletions, his last playoff win against the Packers in 2010, he was 29 of 32 for 379 yds, and 3 tds... just deadly accurate, and highly underated...
what a champion
I think the best part is actually his time with the cardinals. going from undrafted to MVP and SB champion is crazy enough... but then to be considered done (again), and come back (again) to lead the Cardinals was pure power of will
Dude had great receivers to work with.. doesn’t take away from his greatness.
Him and Larry were one scary duo.
Man i miss him as a starter especially in 2008 and 2009. It's a shame that the Cardinals didn't win the SB with him since we were so close then Santonio Holmes and Big Ben messed up my hopes. Still get goosebumps from that play and Matt Leinart
I disagree. The catch at the end sealed the deal but the real mistake was at the goalline right before halftime. He stared down boldin and if you watch the replay, Fitz was open and noone thought to tackle james harrison. I would have risked career ending injury to get that mofo out of bounds, I mean it was the superbowl
My favorite player ever
A large portion of America will never know the importance of seeing a friendly face bag your groceries, then earn an NFL MVP. He is frankly just one of us, but so much more. The components of greatness are not on a linear scale, but the aggregate factors of preparation, support, conditioning, skill, and other circumstances where natural leaders are enabled to create something out of nothing. Thanks for the inspiration and resilience Kurt. You should have went to College Community instead of Xavier, but us Cedar Rapidians still think of you as a role model regardless. Keep making us proud and congrats on the hall of fame! You made us care about Missouri lol
this is great...he deserves it
He's one of those guys that I never liked the team he was on, but was a fan of his talent.
Great video
He had a great deep ball. Had great connection with his receivers.
He was the most fun quarterback to watch. His short quick slant passes were nearly impossible to defend against plus he has an accurate deep ball. He brought that fast paced arena style football to the NFL and defenses were not ready for it. We hadn’t had that entertaining of a QB until Patrick Mahommes. So many NFL teams must have been sorry to not draft him when they had the chance. Wish he would have played longer and not retired so early. I think he had at least 3-5 more years of solid play left.
UNDRAFTED out of college a true legend out of nowhere , he was the true underdog that led the greatest show on turf
