🤔🤔 are usually rip the engines to Full and then I released a break. He usually pick up speed pretty quick or sometimes rolling down the runway. I will pull it back engines back half throttle and push it back up to full and it really pick up speed.😊
Yes, I've heard. I used to be a bush pilot in Africa for an NGO. African history is undervalued. I have 100s of hours on the cessna 206 and Pilatus Porter mostly. Ethiopia is high up, and along with high density altitude it can absolutely eat into your take off performance. I've never flown that Mitu aircraft, so i don't know.
Nice scenic flight. I did some flights along the African coasts in the past, but haven't been around these areas much. I'll have to do so. Now imagine how stunning these areas will look in Flight Sim 2024.
I used to go to Ethiopia for work years ago and got to see much of the country as we usually traveled via a Cessna 208. The pilot even let me sit co-pilot seat once and let me fly for a while. You only covered the top of the country, you should also explore the beauty of the south in the green zone.
It's the latest Bing Map in the map enhancement app. The default was good for about 80% of the trip, but some of the mountaintops had issues with coverage.

Always fascinated with this part of Africa and the historical relationship to the Arc and the Queen of Sheba.
A beautiful place to fly for sure, but I'll wait for 2024. It's gonna look 10x better for sure
Thanks for putting this together Nick.
Just came back from a beautiful flight through Ethiopia just now. It's such a beautiful and under-rated part of the world.
Absolutely! Other than liner flights at 40k feet, I'd never been out here before.
