A different brief and I would agree, neither boats do the same job however. Thank you for commenting
@@thebritishboatguy3130 goodpoint. But for millions I want a master suite in AC....
@@user-er7gx5sm6g she does have aircon and a generator. A Viking won’t run at 60 knots and this won’t take a sea like a Viking. This particular boat is a very exotic take on motoryacht. A Viking is decades of experience in the finest sports fishing boats afloat. I personally own a Princess V class. Viking rebranded my boat as there sports cruiser line. It’s a not a comparison worth contemplating. Personally I would never consider this boat. It is however fabulous at what it does... goes very fast and smashes through water. Not too much else
I prefer Grady White’s 45
Biggest🤔…Estrella 65 💪🏾
Definitely in length, less hull volume though. Here’s one on the on HCB with 6 x 600’s ruclips.net/video/vhytgSAxvdg/видео.html
Millions for a vessel that you cannot see where you are going from the helm. Am I missing something? Isn't this a major safety issue for which the entire design of the hull is responsible? With all the innovations on this boat, they could not figure out a way to allow the operator to have any decent line of sight without cameras. Major fail.
Not one to disagree with you. It’s an unusual brief with a mission of speed.
Not so much, its for the interior. The point of this thing is that you want to go fast and go places, have AC, full bathroom and galley, party, fish. But you always dont want a big slow motor yacht. You could get a nice used Boward for the price of this but its gonna top out at 20 knots and need a crew. Anyone can run a Midnight
That’s a lot of money for a boat with a mediocre interior, but when you are sinking $360k in outboards, there you have it.
More than that, they have just done 6 x 450 Mercs... it’s a nuts boat
@@thebritishboatguy3130 I cant wait to see what they do with the new Merc 600HP V12s with inverse props and built in steering
@@TheMrLebaron I am sure we will be seeing plenty of them at this level
@@thebritishboatguy3130 Easily, I can see that new steering steering system system showing up in lots of Merc Outboards at all levels of price point
@@TheMrLebaron I can certainly see a benefit of 4 x 600hp vs 6 x 450hp. Less weight marginally less complexity. I am however dubious about a 600hp high performance V12 in a marine environment. I have an Aston Martin DB11 V12 with the same hp and it’s an expensive proposition in a car living in my garage most of the time. My experience with large common rail turbo diesels in my Princess is enough yearly headache for me
I’d take a Viking with much more living space, range, visibility etc....
K9 388 can’t argue with that logic sir. I would agree for my type of boating also
The British Boat Guy don’t get me wrong. Awesome boat and great review....
K9 388 thank you sir
WAS the baddest. Estrella is 5' longer, has more hp and holds twice as much fuel.
They keep upping the game. Last one was 6 x 450’s probably next 5 x 600hp mercs.
Only Quad 7 Marines?
Now available with 6 x 450 Merc’s as the excess continues
@@thebritishboatguy3130 Give me 6 x 7 Marine 627s or give me death!
@@Yohann67 only problem with that is Volvo Penta has now shut down the 7 marine division so no more 6 and 700hp plus outboards for now. The greener future may see an end to the high performance outboard in time unfortunately
@@thebritishboatguy3130 IKR? Pisses me off that they close down production before I can afford to buy one....... Ok, maybe just the prop. Wait, what do those run? Do they extend credit?
@@Yohann67 the only experience I have heard with 7’s has been horrible reliability. Merc are doing 7 year warranties on all racing outboards. They are power to weight excellent also. Probably something Volvo couldn’t match 7’s are very heavy. They do sound great though.
Not the biggest. There is a 64'.
The video is 2 years old. There is a 65 foot HCB but it has no where near the hull volume
2.6 Mil and cant even cook dinner
In 25 years of boat ownership. I have never cooked on board. Made coffee in the morning, that’s about it. It’s not really part of this boats brief. Plenty of boats out there that are perfect for catering and blue water cruising. But as you say, this one isn’t that.
you don't get a whole lot for 2.7 mil
You need to ditch the background music. It's annoying and makes it more difficult to hear what you are saying.
Other than that great video!
Thanks Curt. That was one of my first videos a couple of years ago. I did indeed drop the music after that slew of videos as per viewers advice. Thanks for taking the time to write. Since then 7 marine stopped producing engines. She now runs 6 x 450hp mercs
For the person who has $2.6 million with nothing else to spend it on!
Gene Jarman there is a place for everything. I think only 4 have been made. It’s a spectacular machine in action
😂😂😂😂😂😭
overnighting, no toilet?
4:36 def a toilet.
@@Totally_B you are right, just glimpsed it
This boat has just about everything you'll need
It’s embarrassing.
Videotaping stinks. You showed the top of the cowling and it continued the same
Jeff Baran thank you for the feedback. The boat has nearly 30ft of cowling and very little else forward other than an electric sliding cabin door on the port side which is showed very clearly. Sorry you didn’t like the video. I also believe the world stopped using video tapes over 30 years ago.
@@thebritishboatguy3130 Touche LOL :-D
No thank you
Got to work on your camera skills ,mabie try looking thru the camera when your shooting. Half the time your showing us stuff that's only half on the frame.
Early days
No german quality!!
This is quite stupid. There are so many nicer boats you can get for the price...
Very few will be as fast tho
That had to be one of the worst video tours I have ever seen. He should watch some of the other people on RUclips to learn the proper way to shoot this type of video.
Jon Paul Davis thank you John, thankfully you have millions of other content to watch and pass you words of kindness too along the way.
Massive!
This boat has very poor visibility. In my book it is a failure.
I have to agree, particularly on a boat capable of over 70 knots. I am am reluctant to consider technology reliance as an absolute solution to safety. This boat however, is an exercise in the extreme, the huge hull volume for such a fast boat is extraordinary.
A boat for those that have money to burn. In a few years it will all turn to crap. Perfer something more lasting.
Music was to much /Video I give a 3. Not impressed
Brian Ward thank you for your feed back. Duly noted.
@@thebritishboatguy3130 BBG showed pretty much everything on the boat. This yacht is very high-end luxury and the video showed that. More specs such as carbon fiber content would have been helpful, and 700gal fuel seems to me a bit low for this size yacht, especially for the engines which are known gas guzzlers(supercharged GM V8s). Top work BBG!
Everett Cox thank you sir
The music is too loud and stupid.
Wouldn’t buy it not worth the money there asking
Certainly not for everybody
It’s ugly
