- A brand new flag ship Midnight Express 60 Pied-A-Mer with six Mercury 450R's comes to Haulover Inlet. Also a tractor gets stuck in the surf on the beach and has to be dragged out by a bulldozer and another tractor. Lots of cool yachts an boats in this vid!

WE MISSED THE BEST PART!!!! Of the tractor pull! What happened!!!???? They were tugging and then! OUT!
Poor tractor wasn’t made for saltwater soakings, some poor framer will probably buy it used and think he got a deal until he doesn’t!

The Beast has grown on me! The Vitesse looks promising. Can't believe Eric Glaser has an even bigger boat in mind if the 60' does well.
i'ma laugh till my lungs give out if I see 7/8 450R's lined up on the back of a 65 ft+ boat
..or maybe it'll use 600's, or inboards, or stay capped at 6
..OR he knows something from Mercury about a new outboard that we don't (wishful thinking)

As the center console boats have gotten to sizes at least I’d never see or even conceive of I do see the appeal of the 42’ Yellowfin, 37’ and now a 42’ Freeman among others rigged out for the hardcore offshore anglers now able to reach destinations once thought impossible in a center console I just don’t see that 60’ Midnight Express in the same category. I’m not hating because that thing is a bad-ass machine regardless. Just my $.02. Great footage as always Zip!

actually those contraptions are crap . terrible fuel consumption, small available space in comparison any 60, unreliable dangerous gasoline in huge amounts. expenisve .. I can make a list of negative points on an outboard boat that size ...
I'm pretty sure if I was going to design a 60' boat called "The Beast", it wouldn't have outboards.
Thank you for the video . Here's another armchair observation . If I had the Magic Carpet Ride in tow at sea I would stretch that hawser out . But the moment I entered a channel or any other type of navigable waters I'd come right up on that . I make that observation from watching tugs and their tows on the Connecticut river for most of my life . When he's at sea you would swear his tow is about a mile behind him . But when he enters the river he comes up on that drum and pulls close . That's why you do not want to get between a Tug and his tow which has happened to many a boater in the middle of the night . The last thing you want is your tow getting away from you in a narrow area . Just my two cents . Have a happy fourth of July my friend .

@@ragnarlothbrok9133 the flood tide set the Freeman when he got out of the throttles. He probably got back in it through the bridge then boarded it for docking

Well I've been looking at buying a new kubota, though this one's slightly used with* a fresh wash..
and it states in the fine print: albeit the wash was with corrosive sea water...
Im waiting to see one of those "Beast" Midnight Express boats with like five Mercury 600s on the back. Six 450s is starting to look dumb to me now lol

hey tractor drivers, next time use a winch and tie it to something that doesnt move ,like a tree or a rock :)
I would agree 100%, just keep in mind tractors can only attach a couple things at a time. Typically they're not attaching a winch unless using it all the time for such things like logging.

That Midnight 60 sucks. I’ve seen it stuff the bow multiple times now. Pretty poorly designed boat and the fit and finish was terrible when I saw it at the Miami Boat show.
