Same girl who was in the Still of the Night video. She passed away a few years back and was married to Whitesnake's lead singer for a short time. She's in two other Whitesnake videos.
She was quite good in that too. If Hollywood had any brains they would have used her in this time to take advantage of her popularity. Problem was they were going thru a very conservative period in the late 80s and Tawny didn't fit in. Actually there was one way that Hollywood took advantage of it. They started putting some movies of hers regularly on premium cable channels where Tawny's clothes would tend to come off more than what they could show in these videos.
11:08 Slide It In, Slow ‘n’ Easy, Spit It Out, Love Ain’t No Stranger, Gambler, All or Nothing, Standing in the Shadow, Hungry for Love, Give Me More Time, Guilty of Love, Give Me All Your Love, Is This Love, Fool For Your Lovin’, Only My Soul
a Special song to me. My sister who caught spinal meningitis at a year old, basically she was like a baby the rest of her life. This song made her so Happy, we just kept it on MTV cuz it played in regular rotation all the time. I miss her and how Happy she got when the song played
You know I wonder, when they made this song, once it comes together did they know it would be a hit? When you listen to the coarse and words. It is relatable and catchy, seems like you'd bee feeling this will be a banger!
This is definitely my suggestion for the next song. It's the album before Here I Go Again. It's the same guitar player for sure, even if the band was changed out by the time of the video. John Sykes seemed to always come up with great riffs.
MASSIVE hit in mid 80s. You could not escape this song, nor could you not think of the video when you heard the song. They went hand in hand. Even to this day when I hear the opening I still see Tawney doing her splits on the Jaguars.
Windows down, sun roof open, crank it up every time. Drives my kids nuts! Can’t help it, favorite White Snake song! The volume I put it at tests the limits of the noise canceling headphones my teenagers wear. I tell them how sad I feel for the music their generation they are subjected to!
Tawny Kitaen also appeared on the Ratt album cover for Out Of The Cellar, as well as their eponymous EP before that (well, her legs appeared). Metal & Models were a combo staple in the 80s.
It’s always amazing to me when someone reacts to this song and has never heard the ever-present chorus of this song, as it’s used in television shows, movies, sports and advertising. This is one of those songs that is literally EVERYWHERE.
There was a song released in 2004, called 1985, made by the group bowling for soup. V there was a line in there that said She was gonna shake her ass on the hood of Whitesnake's car. That line was in reference to this song!
I saw them live in Toronto in the late 80s and I was front row center floors. They opened up for Kiss and it was a rocking show. Great reaction and Peace out guys ✌️ ☮️
When Coverdale was dating Tawney, he thought that she said that she liked Chopin. Turns out, she said that she liked shopping.😂 That was David's joke about his wife.
This song was a monster hit! And yes, it's the same girl: Tawny Kitaen. Try reacting to: Is This Love (same album), or an older tune: the title track to Slide it In!
Cool For Your Lovin’ - Whitesnake. This was another big Whitesnake banger in the 80s. Love to see you react to it. Thank you for this Whitesnake here I go again reaction.
You should check out the original from the 1982 album Saints & Sinners. Both Here I Go Again and Crying In The Rain from the 1987 Whitesnake album was actually re-recordings that the record company wanted. The two original versions was more bluesy. Back when Jon Lord and Ian Paice was still in the band. Mick Moody and Bernie Marsden RIP on guitars and Neil Murray on bass. When recording the 1987 version guitarist John Sykes didn't want to do Here I Go Again so it was recorded by Adrian Vandenburgh. Check out earlier Whitesnake from their 1979 album Love Hunter. The song Walking In The Shadow Of The Blues are a great one.
As a drummer, this song in video has the best of both worlds Ainsley Dunbar played the drums on the album, and Tommy Aldridge plays the drums in the video Two of my top 10 drummers associated with the same song doesn’t get any better than that 👍
Never wanted to be a car hood till this video lol love lots of whitesnake slide it in spit it out slow and easy fool for your loving bad boys the bluesy aint no love in the heart of the city can go on forever guys been into group since started
You should check out from whitesnake: Slide it in,cheap an' nasty, children of the night, give me all your love, the deeper the love,is this love, slow an' easy.
Brought me right back to my early teens. I miss the 80's I remember when I bought this cassette. Like Bon Jovi i played it to death, playing air guitar and singing every song.
With all the music that you've listened to, it would be nice to know, what your individual playlist looks like today? in comparison to before, you had this channel👍
This is Tawny Kitaen. She passed away a short time ago, unfortunately but she was definitely a video vixen. She is on the cover of Ratts Out of the Cellar” album.
I saw them back in 1987 in Detroit with the same lineup of musicians with Great White opening up for them..They Rocked. At that time they were called the United Nations Lead Singer David Coverdale from England, Drummer Tommy Aldridge from America, Bassist Rudy Sarzo from Cuba, Guitarist Adrian Vandenberg from the Netherlands and Guitarist Vivian Campbell from Ireland..🎸🎤🎶🎵😁🤘
You should do some early Whitesnake from the 70s and early 80s...a totally different feel for a lot of the songs. this lineup here was more glam metal vs their early blues stuff.
Not too sure of the year (80's for sure though), whatever year they opened for Motley Crue is when I saw them in Montreal, Quebec, Canada... she was there, watching from the wings (guess my seats were pretty good).
Such a very smart man !!!! 👍👌🍻 And Sam actually believed that you weren't sure and can't remember , if this is the same model 🤔 😅 😂😂 from the previous video reaction 😂 they ended up getting married
Saw them live in 2015 with Def Leppard on a double bill. I love Def Leppard and they were great but Whitesnake were awesome. Coverdale still amazing in his 60s
Tawny is reason enough to watch. RIP. So beautiful. Did not need to show everything..no tattoos all over and just beautiful.
RIP Tawny Kitaen, she was the image of 80's Rock. Same girl.
Also, Album cover girl, Ratt 'Out of the Cellar'
God blesses red heads.
She also dated O.J. Simpson while he was married, she was a nut case
Yes...Indeed
she's got legs,,,she knows how to use them. -ZZTop
Is This Love by Whitesnake 😎🔥🤘🎸
Absolutely
Really? One of their worst songs. On the same album, "Looking at love" is much better.
@@celtasnake Only reached number 2 on the charts? 🤣
@@stevenseul361 BEAUTIFUL SONG! ♥️
@@davidpalahinjak8954 And???
God damn I miss the 80's.
The BEST Decade.
I miss the 70s evem more ....but the 80s were cool and some great concerts, I graduated from HS in 1983
@@sixslinger9951 You're ten years older than me so that makes sense.
It’s the same girl! His girl!!!! She did a few of his videos!
She was his wife
Same girl who was in the Still of the Night video. She passed away a few years back and was married to Whitesnake's lead singer for a short time. She's in two other Whitesnake videos.
“Slow and easy” and “slide it in” were the two songs of Whitesnake that got them this fan
Y'all should see one of her movies, "Bachelor Party", with Tom Hanks. That was back when Hanks was doing goofy comedies.
She was in Hercules the legendary journeys too.
@@acerdan I must have missed those episodes. Thanks for the heads-up!
She was quite good in that too. If Hollywood had any brains they would have used her in this time to take advantage of her popularity. Problem was they were going thru a very conservative period in the late 80s and Tawny didn't fit in.

Best bit: Q: "Is that a footlong?" A: "And then some."
Tawny, every high school male’s heart throb from back in the day. I was in the Army when this came out. We all drooled as well!! 🤣🤣
Probably Tawny and Suzanna Hoffs from The Bangles. Both were instrumental in my teenage sexual awakening.
Yes it's Tawny!
@@thetomgibson great list! I’d also add the most excellent Sailing Ships to that list!
Great list, but..
Ain’t no love in the heart of the city?

Fool For Your Lovin - Whitesnake
You know I wonder, when they made this song, once it comes together did they know it would be a hit? When you listen to the coarse and words. It is relatable and catchy, seems like you'd bee feeling this will be a banger!
Tawny was in almost every one of the videos because she was married to him at the time
Coverdale’s Jags that she is sprawling on as well.
They married 1989 after. album was 1987
And she was with Tom Hanks in the movie Bachelor Party
Slow and Easy!!!
This is definitely my suggestion for the next song. It's the album before Here I Go Again. It's the same guitar player for sure, even if the band was changed out by the time of the video. John Sykes seemed to always come up with great riffs.
PHENOMENAL 80s jam. Y'all could react to every song on this album

best Whitesnake song "slide it in". yeah, the girl was an actress before groupie. she starred with tom hanks in the movie "bachelor party".
She was dating the guy in Ratt before that so she was groupie first.
She dated Robbin Crosby from Ratt
There was a song released in 2004, called 1985, made by the group bowling for soup. V there was a line in there that said She was gonna shake her ass on the hood of Whitesnake's car. That line was in reference to this song!
Yeah Alright watch Tawney.... Woo Woo Every one bought this CD. I'm very happy that you like this ❤❤
ABSOLUTE BANGER! 🔥
"Slow an' Easy", "Is this Love", and "Fool for your Loving" should be next in line with these guys.
This video was played constantly on MTV in no small part because of Tawny. I was very sad to hear she passed away.
If not all bands, most bands in the 80's had pretty girls in their videos. It was the totally awesome era. Yes this is Tawny Kitaen.
RIP Tawney❤
Slow and easy has to be the next one for sure.
04:15 - literally all bands used the chorus effect on guitar in this kind of calm session of the hard rock ballads. .
I saw them live in Toronto in the late 80s and I was front row center floors. They opened up for Kiss and it was a rocking show. Great reaction and Peace out guys ✌️ ☮️
It was the other way round, Kiss opened for Whitesnake. June 15th 1990
One of the Best Songs of the 80"s love David
When Coverdale was dating Tawney, he thought that she said that she liked Chopin. Turns out, she said that she liked shopping.😂
That was David's joke about his wife.
Deeper the love.....its a love song by them
Great song.love your reaction.i really love playing it as loud as i can
Yeah, Tawny was in 47 of their videos.

That lead guitar solo
Still in love when tawny.
Great guys!! This is probably there best song
Tawny was a beautiful soul. As beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside.
I'm one of the 15% that is subscribed! 🙂
Yeah, this one is anthemic. IMO, this is their best song, and it's iconic for the era.
Is This Love would complete the little "trifecta" of their 1987 hits (the others being this one and Still Of The Night).
Now You're Gone by Whitesnake 😎🔥🤘🎸
Backlit permed 80s hair! ❤ I kinda miss it 😂
This song is fantastic ! Here i goooooo 😁🤘
Love this song!!❤❤
Saw whitesnke and scorpions in Melbourne amazing groups
Same girl. Tawny Kitaen (RIP) who was David Coverdale's wife from 89-91.
Rock In Peace Tawny 🙏
What a great video to be released during my early teenage songs. Of course I only watched for the music!
Alright. Just subscribed. Because you guys play good songs. And listen intently. And are quietly respectful of each other. Thanks, from TelAviv
I was 15 or 16 when this song hit MTV. Tawny was seared into my brain because of this song. 😂
Oh the hair! ❤❤❤❤
Love ain't no stranger. Also, Ain't no love in the heart of the city.
Tawny was an MTV hit.
Yes, I would have let Tawny dance on the hood of my Jag XJ6.

I would love it if Slow N Easy and Love Ain't No Stranger were the next two songs from Whitesnake for Phil and Sam to check out
Song "Blindman" is a great Whitesnake song
"Bad Boys" is a great song off that album. "Is This Love" is a popular one, that had a lot of MTV and radio play back in the day.
Wanna go back ,great times
I would recommend “In the heat of the night” for your next White Snake reaction.
Crying In The Rain is a great Whitesnake song that I know you'll love. 👍👍
cryin in the rain
Is This Love , Love Ain’t No Stranger, Slow N Easy are the next 3!

Tawny Kitaen RIP. they married 2 yrs. after this video and divorced 2 yrs. after that. (89 - 91)
