I believe it's because even though Vision is the purest hero, it's because he was designed that way. Unlike Tony Stark or Starlord who had multiple flaws or have done questionable things, they still remain intensely heroic and always strive to do good. Vision doesn't have any flaws. He is a perfect, moral AI, who is almost incapable of doing wrong. Vision, by the numbers, is most likely the goodest hero, but it's kinda cheating when you were made to be good.

There is no reason Drax or Rocket should be above Hawkeye.

Hawkeye became a serial killer judge on Avengers Endgame, losing his family wasn’t an excuse to become a psychopath. I think his place on the list is correct.
Marcia Sumarriva had he been randomly killing innocent people, you might’ve had a point. The problem is Clint has had a lot of pure hearted and selfless moments like not taking out Natasha, that pep talk to Wanda, that soul stone sacrifice attempt, etc. Not to excuse what he was doing, but his good far outweigh his bad. I can’t say that about Rocket and Drax.
Drax is okay because he doesn’t really do anything bad, it’s just he is annoying to everyone at times. But yeah I agree rocket shouldn’t be above hawkeye
Also Rocket shouldnt be above Falcon! Falcon worked as therapist for ex-soldiers with PTSD, so he helped a lot of people, while Rocket is common thief.
Where's Yondu? Sure, he heads a group of thieves, but ultimately he decides to save Peter from Ego and when given the chance, sacrifices himself. He might be on the low end, but I consider him a hero.

I really like Star Lord
He’s funny and charismatic and
I really sympathized with what he’s been through and respect the leader he was for the Guardians in vol 1 and 2
Most people like Rocket and Groot the best but Star Lord is my favorite Guardian Of The Galaxy.
I think Drax has wound up my favorite (at least in the movie versions). He's a lot of fun but has a lot of complexity boiling beneath the surface. I'm infinitely moved by the scene in Vol. 2 when he's staring out over the field, and Mantis touches him and just bursts into tears. Even at his goofiest, there's so much pain that he's dealing with and trying to just continue on and do the best he can with his new family.
I love all the Guardians though, and they've all been given that level of depth. Star-Lord is fantastic and does not deserve the shit people gave him for punching Thanos - he was never portrayed as a perfect person, and seriously can you blame him? Most people would've done the same.
Too bad people call him an idiot (which he isn't, he just lets his emotions get to him) he's probably my favorite Guardian as well, and I wish that he and Ant-Man could team up together.

Captain America definitely deserves the gold medal. He stood by his friend knowing that the government was after him. He applied several times and failed to enter the war until he was finally given the chance to put a fight. He is extremely humble and loyal to his friends to the end of the line

Here's the thing about Rocket; He's rude and a bit abrasive, but that's because he's a bit depressed. However, he knows how to interact with people who are depressed and traumatized and can do it without making them feel like they have to change. Its nice.

I think Thor deserves a higher spot and I think that Steve should have been second. I know worthiness is incredibly vague, but I think that Steve would have been worthy ever since he was 100% willing to sacrifice himself by jumping on the dummy grenade in his first movie. In fact, Whedon said that Steve could have lifted the hammer in age of ultron, but didn’t because he didn’t want to upstage Thor or make him jealous. I think tony would not have been worthy until when he broke into the Donut ship in infinity war, I think from then on he would have been worthy. Just my thoughts.
Honestly I was pretty frustrated seeing Thor so low. Thor has always been a good person even if he was slightly arrogant in his first few movies. As a powerful being from a royal family on another world, he didn't have to care as much about humanity as he did, and he put his life at risk multiple times for the good of humanity. That is true good to me
Stephen gave up everything, literally EVERYTHING he was for the sake of the entire universe. He gave up his hands. He gave up his medical career. He gave up Christine. He. Lost. EVERYTHING.
Only to then be willing to put himself in a cycle of endless torment for a duration of time we the audience can only FATHOM, willing to endure eternal agony. Like holy fuck, man.

I would put Dr. Strange in the gray area. He is my second favorite Marvel character under Venom, but I know he has flaws compare to Spiderman and Capt. America. I was shocked that Capt- America got the bronze. I was expecting him to be Gold.

Hulk did not help Thor battle the dark elves. That was the 2nd Thor movie, Hulk wasn't in that. Also, Hulk didn't help Dr Strange and Tony fight Thanos. He helped Thor and Loki. That was the beginning of Infinity War.

The lengths Tony Stark is willing to go to is what makes him my favorite MCU hero.
I like him, because he was such a complex character to write. He started off as we would consider a bad guy and ended up being a true super hero. He definitely evolved a lot over each movie.

@@Marvelfanatic3658 Deep down Tony was a good person, but his morals were in the gray area, and I understand why people would see things from both ways, especially seeing as he was still pretty arrogant in his first couple movies. But by Infinity War and Endgame he was really humbled to be honest, so I believe he wouldn't have been worthy at first, but later on definitely was.

Honestly several people on this list should've been placed higher due to being very pure of heart(like Mantis and Groot), but the person who deserved that the most was Steve Rogers/Captain America. I know that he went against the avengers at one point(trying to kill Tony) and one of his last scenes was him being selfish, but he was always the 2nd most good hero. I still agree that the gold spot should go to who you said they were(I'm not saying because I don't want to spoil the list more than I already have), but honestly he should have been ranked higher than third.
Steve didn't actually try to KILL Tony. He was trying to incapacitate him to make sure he couldn't attack Bucky anymore. The only way he could do that was by destroying the arc reactor so that Tony's suit couldn't work.

Peggy Carter was an agent as a friend to Steve Rogers before her death in endgame Steve Rogers returned the stones to the respective timelines and head back to the 1940s to reunite with Carter dancing when his present day self become old handing his shield to Sam to John walker as the new captain America of the future.
Until the shield was handed back to falcon.
