Pexster had great footwork,a great power windmill and turtle. You saw some of his turtle in the Roxy challenge in BEAT STREET, but for some reason, his turtle battle with BUCK 4 during the uprock challenge in the subway is cut. There are photos of it,but why it was cut,who knows.
Pex was so versatile in his moves i think you had to have been but hiss speed was second to none. NYC Breakers were a dope crew Best in the city IMO and the world at that time , :)
Much, much, much prefer NYC Breakers, (Floor Masters) over RSC, any day. Probably co's I can't stand Crazy legs, (Richard Colón) but there you go! Shouts to - Tony, Chino, Matt, Ray, & Noel - The original FM.
I wish these guys could know just how much they influenced the rest of the world outside of NYC in the early 80's. PS. Can I also put a claim in, for all the bangs, bruises, scratches, & scrapes I endured, throughout my BBoy days? Thanks!
I could never and still can't do proper swipes. Windmills it's a case of I get it right and can keep going or I get it wrong and I loose my momentum to do the first turn lol. Could have done with someone teaching me and telling me where I'm going wrong
2022 and still FRESH
“THE POWERFUL PEXSTER”... HE BAAADDD!.. WHOooooo!.. GET DOWN PEX! …. Incredible.

I also think they were the better crew at the Roxy, in Beat Street, by a mile!
