so i live in nyc and one day i was at a park and suddenly i remembered the lyrics about the cold parks pretending to be warm. and at that moment, it completely described how i was feeling, sitting there in a beautiful park surrounded by tall buildings, trees, and warm street lamps. but the trees were all the same size, leaning the same way, lining the pathways too uniformly. the tall buildings jut out too much from the tree lines, the sound of traffic bled over the rustle of leaves in the wind. everything, and even my surroundings felt so contrived at that moment. i had many conflicting thoughts about where i was physically and metaphorically in life then. and often times if i visit the same park, and look at the uniform trees, i think about those same things. but the thing is. i dont know why, i keep going back to that park. probably out of familiarity. i don’t know. i felt like wanting to share this here haha

His next project, the album "Indigo," is a reflection of his thoughts & feelings during his late 20s. And, for me, his latest album "Right Place Wrong Person" is a sonic masterpiece. It was completed right before he went into the military (released just months ago during his enlistment) and boy oh boy, he had a lot to say! Enjoy the ride!

Ho Teej! Seoul is indeed relaxing and relatable, we kinda all feel the same of our home city. As a poet myself (never mentioned before cuz I write mostly in French), I appreciate Joon artistry, his imagery and play on words (even if my style is more straighforward and raw like Yoongi, but I do use a lots of play on words tho) And I love the visual of the mv, love the journey trough the landscape which ends like a mirage or a dream, very pertinent. About your Yoongi summary: one of my fav is also So far away, although not for the same reasons. For me, it was a kick in the butt that woke me up from a long slump. It made me cry a lot. ... I could talk about Yoongi works for ages (my bias with Jin) but I stop here cuz it's your Namjoon journey now!!! Talking about city, really like Tokyo by RM too ^^

I love this song. It is so easy to listen to and addresses how I think we all feel sometimes about aspects of our daily lives whether it is the city entirely or aspects of it. I feel like his song Hectic (off of Indigo album) is a sort of part 2 to this song. Maybe only because of the last line, but it definitely connected it. "We still love and hate this city." You saying the whole "still being surprised even though you expected it, it comes out better than what you expected... double that." 😅 for real! It just always seems to be that way. It is crazy.

Teej, you need to listen to So Far Away with Suga, Jin and Junkook .. you will get a totally different vibe from that one .. the synergy between BTS' members is phenomenal .. I'm not disputing that original with Suran is good but taking your words, for impact of the song with 3 of them is on another level .. you should listen to it👍
My favorite thing about RM's music is that he paints with words. He's sometimes called the poet who raps and I think it describes him so well. While Yoongi's music feels so raw and in your face which is something I love about it, but RM is definitely someone with beautiful lyrics and hit hard everytime 💜 If you want a similar vibe to Seoul I think you should react to Wildflower by RM and if something different then maybe Groin or Nuts by him as your next reaction.

i dont know if you have the time for that but it would be amazing if you could reacts to his whole latest album, in my opinion its his greatest body of work - he was honest in the other albums but here he just let it all go, and also the style he went for is so fricking good the mv for lost won and was nominated for a lot of international awards wchich is amazing cause bts was never recognized in placees like that and the minimoni exchange of albums is also worth watching it was done for rm's and jimin's album and it just gives a lot of perspectiv e how rm felt creating the album and his headspace
