i cried listening to this for like 3 months (?) then i had to stop actively listening to this . maybe it was the condition or situation i was in. during that time that made me emotional. now i listen to this album everyday but i dont cry anymore. i can still feel namjoon's passion though.
@@dreamgloww6650 Sounds like your emotions changed as it settled over time, like a clear sky sets in after the rain. A new feeling enveloping the knowledge and feelings of what came before? idk 😅
Namjoon struggling dealing with fame and all its trappings, trying not to lose sight of himself while the whole world watches his every move. The fireworks/wild flower/flower work lyric actually came from his post back in 2017 titled 불꽃놀이the Korean title of "Wild Flower," which rhymes with (firework). He said, "Perhaps in our lives we need wild flowers [ 들꽃; deulkkot]-rather than flames [불꽃; bulkkot] or cherry blossoms [ 벚꽃; beotkkot]- in bloom, tranquilly." It's flower work because wildflowers are like fire works, they spread through the field just like how fireworks spread through the sky except Namjoon is saying he wants to live as a calm wildflower rather than a flashy quickly disappearing firework. So instead of living like fire flowers that is brilliant but would quickly disappear, namjoon would like to live more like wildflowers that are calm and tranquil. He used 불꽃 wordplay in prev work too Him wanting a life like a tranquil wild flower instead of a flashy firework that is quick to burn out. He always paints such a personal and powerful image.
I discovered bts Jan 2022, but was just a casual listener. When this song came out in December, I was on a trip in Japan and it absolutely wrecked me. I was going through my own issues but I guess I couldn’t understand why I was feeling a certain way, this song was like namjoon understood my emotions and helped me arrange my thoughts and emotions into poetry and sing it back to me with such passion. I felt every word he said and felt every emotion he felt. I legit ugly cried for 2 weeks and that has never happened to me before. This song solidified me as Army and Mr. Kim Namjoon as my bias. This man is brilliant and a true artist. Also, my interpretation of the fireworks versus flowers: namjoon wants a life/career like wild flowers and not like fireworks. He doesn’t want the fleeting rise to fame and then suddenly disappear. He wants to take his time to grow and bloom, and when the time is right, he will wither and the petals will float beautifully to the ground. Even his lyrics during the beginning of the song was “even before the beginning, I was dreaming of an end where I could smile and applaud”. I love this man with all my heart 💜
"Wild Flower" is a masterpiece for me. In Indigo Magazine Film, [a great watch, btw] its producer, Docskim, mentioned how he was contemplating giving up on music production, but RM gave him hope. This song helped him rediscover his passion, and he eventually decided to keep going.
Can't help but have watery eyes over this, I've listened to it 50 times. It's so sad yet so beautiful at the same time. RM has great songs. But this is my absolute favorite!
For anyone interested, the fireworks in the MV are called "Nakhwa Nori" they're traditional korean fireworks displayed once a year and it means "falling flowers/falling flames".

My first reaction to Wild flower was very similar to yours and to this day it is one of my favourite RM songs. I really enjoy watching your reactions and I am so glad to see BTS touching another heart💜
When this song came out, the first time I listened to it, it hit me so hard I started crying. I felt like he gave me a chance to look into his heart and I felt he felt, it felt so raw. That never happened to me before in my 62 years on this earth. That feeling didn’t leave me for days. I had to tell my husband what was going on because he didn’t understand why I was so emotional. Nowadays it still is doing making emotional but I don’t cry anymore until today. Seeing you having the feels, you made me teary eyed. But it was lovely to see another person feeling the same emotion for the same music as you. I feel the connection through the emotions, thank you for being so honest, 🙏
Please react to RM's small concert "Indigo live at Rolling Hill"....all the featured artist also appear ,,,The female singer is in her 40's...and he let her shine....also...no cellphones at the concert everyone just vibing
Wildflower was my second most streamed song last year ,first being like crazy. The emotions he brings and his words are literal poetry. I'll always be proud of stanning namjoon
This song is special. Chills every time. I feel it swelling in my chest every time. Fireworks burn out quickly. Wildflowers are grounded. Namjoon is such a poet. I'm glad you had this experience with it too.
This song is a masterpiece. I get chills every single time I listen to it. Youjeen came out of retirement for this song. She is the lead singer of the group Cherry Filter.

Wildflower is a masterpiece! So raw, emotive, beautifully painful and so honestlt truthful. Love it and the whole Indigo album. RM's documentary RM: Right People, Wrong Place will be released in theaters on December 5th, it delves into the production of his latest album Right Place, Wrong Person. Namjoon continues searching for his real, true self as Kim Namjoon while expanding his musical horizons and exploring different styles and themes as solo artist RM, it looks like it'll be amazing and I can't wait to watch his creative process in detail, hope you have a chance to watch it.
When you love wildflower, I recommended the song" forever rains" mv with english subtile! The great lyricist RM feels what he sings...That's an earlier song from his mixtape mono.Thank you TEEJ 💜💜💜
Joon worked on this masterpiece for 6 years ❤ and he insisted that youjeen to do it ( even though she didn't release anything in the last 10 years ) because ha wanted someone to explode the emotions, also an amazing fact the producer he was working with on wf was thinking of quitting then he got back his inspiration because of working on this beautiful amazing song ❤ no one match joon's talent and artistic vision, he's just one of kind
Probably key to this song is understanding the Idol system say 2011 or so. Most male Idols sign 7 year contracts fully expecting if they make it at all to return to a normal life of military and family. That is the beautiful fall RM says he was expecting. Instead of basically a Korean career he wound up global and nonstop ascending. Operating as an Idol combined with ever-growing expectations was not allowing his artistry and individual styles to be manifested. Hence the term flowerwork. RM wants to be unchained from the Idol Platform. Many ARMYS reflect this in their belief that BTS is not K Pop. They are saying BTS is an unchained musical group. Wildflower is great because it builds on J Hope's Jack in the Box to say BTS, despite some unfortunate keep established Korean Idol standards mentality, is a top tier group of artists and not part of an industry wide formula.
The 1st time I listened to this song, it brought me back to FESTA 2022 Dinner when we found out all the hardships/struggles they faced esp during COVID while they were trying to provide comfort to millions of ARMYs all over the world. They were all broken hearted, don't know what to do coz the plans they made all went to a halt. Your dreams, aspirations came to haunt you.. all the negativity that surrounds them trying to break them.. i was always emotional everytime i listened to WildFlower. But seeing how he managed to overcome this and was able to get back on his feet, even making incredible albums after everything, Indigo & RPWP, made listening to WF a bit more easy, coz i know he is in a better place. This is still one of my fave RM song ever, and youjeen's voice still haunts me to this day, such an amazing vocalist.. Edit: the way this mirrors the sentiments of SUGA's Interlude: Shadow's Don't let me shine, don't let me fly.. and Wild Flower's I can't go to the stars again, I can't.. i love these 2 men's thought process. How they can go deep within themselves and visually, lyrically give us the best descriptions of the internal turmoil a person have experienced. That's why i can relate to so much of their music..
I love the juxtaposition of fireworks that glow bright and fade fast and the flowerwork that is gentler, smells sweeter and will last for as long as the flowers are nurtured.
Imagine watching the premiere of the mv. You can't pause, chillbumps running through your entire body and tears not stopping. I still get chillbumps from this song. This song stands at the top right next to Daechwita for me. 💜💜💜
@@MuddaFuffaI think both songs do exactly what they're meant to do, you know? I feel that way about Set Me Free pt 2 as well. Three very different songs but all such masterworks 😁
RM’s eyes slays “ dragon eyes”. He is so handsome manly. His poetry makes me feel comforted. Recent events in my country has frightened me. I find comfort in BTS. OT7.
When i first listened to this song i cried so hard i was about to have a heart attack and i Kid u not. I was and am still heavilly depressed and back then i was in my worst state and heating this just made me feel aomething more rhan sadness. Like a kind and wise friend wispering in my ears . He was my bias since rhe begining of corona that i became rheir fans and still i respeccct this Man. He is a genius and one of the greatest musicians. Thanks for this wise and inspiring reaction ❤
i"m 56..but i always smile troughout this reaction watching ur shocking face .i luv this song like suga snooze .the boys always have a similar /connection in their song.his sketch video really good with how the fireworks in real live was made .in this show case..closer with paul blanco is a must .another amazing artist
I read that as 5'6 for a sec and was like "Wait, what does height have to do- " lol Yea, their connection that sprigs up in solo songs still catches me by surprise, though... still pleasant. recommend noted
Every day since watching and listening to Mic Drop in Sept 2021, and becoming an instant fan, I have felt great gratitude for these seven guys. But how do you even put into words the feeling you are given by this song and MV? It is majestic, moving, inspiring. Everything you want in a great work of art. Our world is a much, much better place because of what these guys have given. As you say, they are HOME.💜
This was my exact reaction to wildflower. Watching this reaction brought back the emotions i felt when i heard it for the first time. Youjeen was phenomenal and the lyrics!!!
Thank you for talking about the substance and deep meaning of Rm's & other members & also BTS songs. BTS member's art has substance. Very few reactors appreciate that. Most people just use BTS for their own popularity. Thank you for appreciating their deep work.💜
Hey TEEJ. I'm really glad you went back and watched the live version. I was going to suggest it. It just brings something extra to the song. RM doing what he does best. He's so poetic. And you're right. Listening to BTS is like coming home. There is substance to their songs. I wouldn't have stayed to become ARMY if there wasn't. Thanks for the reaction. I like the way you explain how songs make you feel. 😄💜
The live def makes the experience feel complete. Substance, indeed! Cheers to that 🍻lol thanks~ I put my life force into making it make sense sometimes 🤣💜
RM did a live concert at Rolling Hall which had been a dream of his. It's a small venue. The live performance is taken from that concert. He was supposed to enlist with Hobi, but then figured out that he had more music in him that needed to come out of him first, so he pushed back his enlistment date and worked on his second album.
I think you will really love "Moonchild"! That is still my favourite Namjoon song along with Seoul! Please give it a listen when you can! He represnets all of us fellow "moonchilds"!🥹🥹 There is a saying among ARMYs about "Mono", the album "Moonchild" and "Seoul" are from. We often say that in "Mono," Namjoon doesn't intend to motivate you to get out of your dark place. He, rather, comes, sits beside you and promises to be there with you till you get the strength and courage to get out of it yourself! Isnt that beautiful?🥹🥹
I love this song too! I take it as - we are always looking up at the stars/fireworks wanting to up there (rich and famous), but we should keep our feet on the ground and appreciate the beauty here (flowers/flower works), beauty of being true to oneself, a human being. Thank you for your reaction.
He specifically wanted Youjeen on this song. He said nobody else can give justice to this song except her. If I remember correctly, Joon said if Youjeen said no, he'll have to re-do the song or something like that. They also performed this live. 😊
🫶🏽I always say that RM is the poet of emotions, Indigo is an elegant, sophisticated and very beautiful album, just like RM, it is one of his many works of art . RM is always honest and very sincere in his lyrics, he is an artist from head to toe!! A magnificent writer, composer and producer, apart from everything that he is and represents in BTS🎶✨🫶🏽💜
When i heard the song for the first time i wasn't hearing the intro. Like it was so light and simple in the way that i could clearly read each line. But the outro? man did i cry.. cause after hearing RMs intro/retrospective journey through the verses and the chorus.. man did those lines carry weight to them, they were heavy and full.. finally understanding the weight of the words he opened the song with... felt really special. That's poetry that's purpose !
Yea... the emotional momentum of this song increases as it goes, like a snowball effect and when you get to the end w/revisited parts of the song the impact is ridiculously heavy
Thank you so much for reacting to this song. Please don't apologize for reacting in an honest way: what other kind of reactor would we want for BTS and RM? I haven't listened to this in awhile, and I'm so glad you brought it back into my orbit. As it played I suddenly remembered how important it was for me when it was released. I was deciding whether to retire because my work had become, in many ways, a burden. This song about what the world values versus what he (or I) value just reached me at a moment that I needed it so much--trying to figure out how to contribute but staying true to myself. A masterpiece. 💜
RM is a poet.... And honestly, most of his songs wreck me emotionally. I spent a good chunk of Indigo absolutely in my feels. My "must listens" for RM at this point: Joke Forever Rain Persona No. 2 Come Back to Me Lost Nuts
17:00 now I'm even more certain that moonchild will become your song. I'm glad his poetry inspires you to write yours too. RM is great at creating a journey with his lyrics, where a listener switches every now and then between passenger's and driver's seats. You read/relate/ reminisce/think/understand, but at certain points just Feel. And when those hit, it's natural to run for the pen to put those feelings into your own words.
Hey TEEJ! Love it! This killed me when he released it. Crying? Hell yeah!!! His start was poetry. Says he. And he is a master. I felt everything to my bones. Probably one of my favorites with Suga's Snooze. Society is all for loudest voice and here I am, still speaking silence. - for some reason that really stayed with me and I won't bring it to politics necessarily but yes. Also over my status is an oversized life. I love that image and the truth behind it. Gave me shivers. Anyways this was such an open and honest message from him and I hope that he is feeling happy again.
Amazing. Thank you for this reaction. I love watching people being deeply moved by their music (solo or group). Namjoon is a philosopher and a poet and so gifted. I particularly loved the live. youjeen is perfect in this piece.
This is my first time seeing a video of yours and I have a lot to say but I can't find the words, I'll put it simple and say you are a very deep thinker and your absolutely the target audience for this kind of music, not only do you inspect the lyrics but you also 'feel' the song it's not often you come across someone who cares that much... keep it up and I'm a new subscriber p.s I relate so much to watching the stars and listening to music except I was too scared to go outside at night lol
Pls listen to his latest album- Right Place and Wrong Person. Its a different vibe all together. Its another side of him. If you love him now, you will love him more. He is my music teacher thats why he is my Ultimate Bias. Forever!
My view is simple "WildFlower", "Standing next to you and "Who" are the Grammy(or the idea of it) worthy but winner to me should be wildflower because there is nothing else moves me as much. A total masterpiece imo.
picture perfect wording 👌lol some things live on forever as masterpieces even if some don't agree, I believe 💯 key word: live b/c it sounds just as alive as I am
Loved loved this reaction, and the song omg the song. I think RM is beyond being called a poet, he is a wordsmith God. I never listened to RAP or had much appreciation for it until I began listening to RM, Suga and Jhope. I now find myself looking for the music of those that inspired them to see what spoke to them as artists. I am happy you listen to Suga's song, it is also one of my favorites along with his other songs Snooze and Dear My Friend. I hope you have a wonderful day and weekend! 💜
Yea, I think a new name might be in order here. Love to hear that you looked into their inspirations! Those who take what they've learned from those teachers, fuse those lessons, the add themselves to the mix creating something new (an original sound) stand above them all, I believe 💜
@@TEEJ-9 My list of those artists were provided by the Rap Line themselves through their song Hip Hop Phile aka Hip Hop Lover. The respect they paid to those artists was eye opening. BTS is always teaching me something 💜 Of course, they always keep MJ and Prince alive in their music as well. I think that is why I love their music, those were and still are two of my favorites.
The traditional Korean fireworks in the video are so beautiful they are mesmerizing. YouJeans vocal are so beautiful I get chocked up. RM vocals and lyrics make me love him even more since he felt brave enough to share such personal thoughts. He keeps making masterpieces
Yes!!! One of my all-time favorite songs, honestly. I think it will stand the test of time. I don't know why it doesn't get more attention or recognition. It feels so full and flawless to me. Your reaction to this... being inspired, trying to not get overboard excited, being touched by it emotionally... all of that is my same response to you. I love watching your reactions. I love your genuine responses to what you are seeing, hearing, etc. I get so excited when you do all their stuff, but especially when I know how epic the song is going to be, like this one. I think I mentioned it long ago, but you remain such a true artist and still seem so similar to RM to me. You have that internal artist struggle where your mind never rests but you also see such beauty in everything. And it is such an honor to get to watch you experience things like this song, that I love so much, for the first time from your perspective. Love it even more that you included that live! 💜 That whole Rolling Hall performance was absolutely, perfectly, exactly what it should be... not just this song, but the whole concert start to finish! Seriously something intimate and special. Hope you've watched it all. Even if you don't react to it... since I don't think many people would watch the whole thing... but I do think, as an artist, you will thoroughly enjoy it... the way he talks between some and with the guests, it is something I think you would absolutely enjoy checking out. Hope you have a great weekend. Thanks for sharing this gem. Peace! 💜
I feel it will ace the test & possibly do extra credit for me as time moves on. 🥺Thanks for the equally beautiful words here, honestly! put me in a bit of a shock, but yea lol depending on how long I'd love to add it to this RM dive we have going on 💜
I really can't wait for you to dive more into joon's solo albums (including mixtapes) his work gonna resonate with you so much, i really feel you both, him and you teej..are alike in many ways..
The lyric that popped into my head during that last scene lying in the field was, "My peace is unbreakable," from 'Heaven'. And now I'm crying again... 🥲
This can be watched live with Youjeen RM ROLLING HALL SEOUL LIVE ENG SUBTITLES. The whole concert is definayely worth watching. Paul Blanco and Colde. Plus RM does Sexy Nukim and Persona😊
Wildflower is definitely one of my top RM songs. It's so beautiful, emotional and the production, rap & singing are so pleasing to my ears (like ear candy)! Since you like more slow & introspective songs, I think his mixtape "mono" would be right up your alley! (That's the album that Seoul is on too!) Namjoon is an incredible songwriter, both in his own songs & in BTS songs. I love poetry too and so I enjoy his wordplay and how he articulates complex emotions into metaphors.
It's been more than 2 years and i still can't listen to WF without getting emotional. Namjoon the poet is a revelation 💜

That's what sticks with me too. They're two different kinds of beauty... One of them is less intense and showy, but it lasts.
Imagine watching the premiere of the mv. You can't pause, chillbumps running through your entire body and tears not stopping. I still get chillbumps from this song. This song stands at the top right next to Daechwita for me. 💜💜💜
Very fitting place next to Daechwita 🤔 Surprising to hear though that 'Wildflower' shares the space w/that song. 💜
@@TEEJ-9 Both of them have great lyrics & the mvs are immaculate, They may both give me something different, but both are masterpieces. 💜
@@MuddaFuffaI think both songs do exactly what they're meant to do, you know?
I feel that way about Set Me Free pt 2 as well.
Three very different songs but all such masterworks 😁
@@evantesseract737 Completely agree 💜
RM Masterpiece.
Between the lyrics and the visuals, Wildflower is one of my favorite MV's of all time, solo or group work.
Youjeen was phenomenal and the lyrics!!!
ugh! She most def was and the lyrics 😭glad you revisited those emotions💜
Thank you for talking about the substance and deep meaning of Rm's & other members & also BTS songs.
BTS member's art has substance. Very few reactors appreciate that. Most people just use BTS for their own popularity.
Thank you for appreciating their deep work.💜
Amazing song my bias Rm ot7💜💜💜💜
Thanks for taking the time to experience RM's lyrics
Great reaction. This song is a masterpiece. It always makes me emotional 🥺💜
I love rm, please reaction "THROW AWAY"
Gran presentación en el salón rodante, RM es fantástico tremendo artista, muy talentoso
muy cierto 😌
Cheers to that 🍻lol thanks~ I put my life force into making it make sense sometimes 🤣💜
ohemgee this song!!! namjoon is just an amazing artist.
Wild Flower is a masterpiece by RM
I think you will really love "Moonchild"! That is still my favourite Namjoon song along with Seoul! Please give it a listen when you can! He represnets all of us fellow "moonchilds"!🥹🥹 There is a saying among ARMYs about "Mono", the album "Moonchild" and "Seoul" are from. We often say that in "Mono," Namjoon doesn't intend to motivate you to get out of your dark place. He, rather, comes, sits beside you and promises to be there with you till you get the strength and courage to get out of it yourself! Isnt that beautiful?🥹🥹
I second the request:) That's our time afterall!🌑
I love this song too! I take it as - we are always looking up at the stars/fireworks wanting to up there (rich and famous), but we should keep our feet on the ground and appreciate the beauty here (flowers/flower works), beauty of being true to oneself, a human being. Thank you for your reaction.
ahh awesome take of this song!
The live performance of Wildflower is amazing
One of my favorite beautiful song..
He specifically wanted Youjeen on this song. He said nobody else can give justice to this song except her. If I remember correctly, Joon said if Youjeen said no, he'll have to re-do the song or something like that. They also performed this live. 😊
He mentioned he would have to probably change her lines to English because he would need to look outside of South Korea
rm music simply moves souls.
I love this song. RM is a genius, love him a lot. 💜
I don't think there will ever be a day in my life.. that I hear this song and it doesn't bring me to tears. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
I love how you described BTS…feels like home! 💜
🫶🏽I always say that RM is the poet of emotions, Indigo is an elegant, sophisticated and very beautiful album, just like RM, it is one of his many works of art . RM is always honest and very sincere in his lyrics, he is an artist from head to toe!! A magnificent writer, composer and producer, apart from everything that he is and represents in BTS🎶✨🫶🏽💜
rm right place wrong person 💜💜
RM is a poet
Masterpiece 100%. 🫶💜
100% *_nods in approval_*
Our president .... Absolute fave song !! 💜💜💜
Hi teej, I think your awesome, just love the way you do reactions especially when it comes to be the awesome BTS💜. Keep up the good work!!!
Ohh stawpp *_clearly blushing_* 🤣much appreciated! 💜
RM is a poet.... And honestly, most of his songs wreck me emotionally. I spent a good chunk of Indigo absolutely in my feels. My "must listens" for RM at this point:
Joke
Forever Rain
Persona
No. 2
Come Back to Me
Lost
Nuts
this song has my heart 💜
Love this reaction ! thank you and I purple you
Loved your reaction.
💜
Wildflower is my RM fav work but Moonchild do come close. I don't listen to music that much, but I love RM writing.
I always said Youjeen voice gives me "Alanis Morrisette" vibes from Jagged Little Pill album, Love It! 🙋🏽♀️🤗😍💜✌🏽🙏🏽🇺🇸👍🏽
I can hear where you're getting that from
You have GOT to do Suga's Set Me Free, you'll just fall off your chair 🙏🙏🙏💜
The only thing better than Wildflower is RM and Youjeen singing Wildflower live! This song is immaculate!
Hey TEEJ!
I think so many of us pair this with Snooze for good reason. I love them both.
Amazing. Thank you for this reaction. I love watching people being deeply moved by their music (solo or group). Namjoon is a philosopher and a poet and so gifted. I particularly loved the live. youjeen is perfect in this piece.
This is my first time seeing a video of yours and I have a lot to say but I can't find the words, I'll put it simple and say you are a very deep thinker and your absolutely the target audience for this kind of music, not only do you inspect the lyrics but you also 'feel' the song it's not often you come across someone who cares that much... keep it up and I'm a new subscriber
p.s I relate so much to watching the stars and listening to music except I was too scared to go outside at night lol
Pls listen to his latest album- Right Place and Wrong Person. Its a different vibe all together. Its another side of him. If you love him now, you will love him more. He is my music teacher thats why he is my Ultimate Bias. Forever!
oh, we're def gonna get to that. Maybe some tracks beforehand
I’ve yet to control the emotions that drop from my eyes when I listen to these guys💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Some things are best kept uncontrolled, so they flow free and naturally 💜...is what I believe lol
You should definitely listen to another joon's collabs like
winter flower
don't
They're a masterpiece as well
Loved loved this reaction, and the song omg the song.
My favorit song
The traditional Korean fireworks in the video are so beautiful they are mesmerizing. YouJeans vocal are so beautiful I get chocked up. RM vocals and lyrics make me love him even more since he felt brave enough to share such personal thoughts. He keeps making masterpieces
BTS feels like home to me too 💜
Sending purple 💜 to your channel teej thank u so muchooooo. Borahae from Ph 🇵🇭 armymom borahae 💜💜💜
I will never get over this masterpiece!💫💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💫
can't be helped 😌
My fav RM song.
and it was a wonderful experience ❤I see a bit of why it's your fav
Nature heals, this song is a masterpiece just love it.
Yes.. its home💜💜💜
