My music teacher gave me this arrangement years ago, and it's the first I ever heard of there being an introduction! (My copy has a minor transcription error-flat on the F instead of the A in the F-minor chord on bar 15, does your copy have the same error?)
Anyway, thank you so much for uploading this. I've been practising it for Christmas and it's nice to have a point-of-reference for that intro, since I've only heard it when I played it myself.

+Gerzson Keri This is the original version that Irving Berlin penned. He wrote it while in California. The first verse goes like this:
The sun is shining, the grass is green,
The orange and palm trees sway.
There's never been such a day,
In Beverly Hills, L.A..
But it's December the twenty -fourth,-
And I'm longing to be up North,-

A real shame that few can be bothered to play or sing the prelude.
Hats off to Bach Scholar for including it.
It really does help introduce the song properly.
Ditto with The Sound of Music.
Cleaner peddling and a bit of finesse would make this sound great.
