Creedence Clearwater Revival (abbreviated as CCR) was an American rock band from Berkeley, California, which was active under this band name between November 1967 and November 1972. The music and lyrics of their pieces are mainly from their founder, singer and guitarist John Fogerty.
I play rhythm guitar and my buddy plays lead and with just the 2 guitars and the 2 of us doing vocals we combine suzie q and run through the jungle switching off on verses to the 2 songs back and forth and doing a version that lasts over 30 minutes. when we do this it's quite the jam fest
John fogerty is music he is ccr born a genus I play guitar I can appreciate him u have too feel the music in your fingers an soul too know what I mean age means nothing I think he's better now than ever
Saw CCR in San Antonio in 1972. Front row. Tower of Power opened. Tight. It was tight. $12.00 dollar tickets for 6 people on that front row. We had to scrape for that money to get those tickets as we were all 16 years old. One person had a DL. Pot was scary, but we smoked it and got high. USA Flag shirts and t-shirts and bell bottoms. Girls who smelled like Prel Shampoo, ,up and down. Yeah, I remember it all in 2021 at 66 years old.
One of the best American bands of all-time
Don’t forget the Eagles
Yes, I agree! The best until Lynyrd Skinner came about!!
This is friggin amazing. The drums, the bass line, the guitar, Fogerty’s voice... I can’t even wrap my head around how great this is.
Ha I just wrote this exact comment before seeing yours. So true!
SO GOOD!
I think John also played this gituar at Woodstock if I'm not mistaken. Makes it even cooler.

Not easy to keep a tune going strong with a single simple riff. But they did it.
Good movie for you to rediscover: ruclips.net/video/vCMEPFSkQOw/видео.html&feature=emb_logo
I think I was 12 or 13 when I first heard this song! Still gets to me after 50 years...that's a legend...not only in voice but also in band!
1957 dale hawkins.
Great riff, great drum beat, great bass line, great lyrics/vocal... song has it all!
No other band could touch their sound- the trance/drone part of original record.

This is incredibly good. So glad he finally got ownership of his songs! Keep on truckin' Mr. Fogerty! Bravo!

Kenny Aronoff on this masterpiece is like... like...like a volcano explosion!!🌋🌋🌋🌋👏
THIS IS WHAT YOU CALL MUSIC
DEFINETELY THE BEST LONG LASTING SONGS,EVER .I,M NOT EVEN SURE WHO WAS THE ORIGINAL WRITER .
They took an ordinary song that had been covered by the likes of The Rolling Stones and turned it into a funky , psychedelic masterpiece

I'm sending this to my girl to let her know I love her like that.
This song brings me back to the fall of 1968 when it was popular.
Don’t get no better than this - superb.
Im 30 yr I listen to this cuz my dad taste of music n I gotta say I’m proud No music like the old ones
Few songs with a more signature guitar or voice. Timeless.

I was 6 years old when I heard this time in Tijuana Baja back in 1969...
Thanks to this video (and the commenters) I now know about Kenny Aranoff the drummer. This whole performance is top stuff
Un must !
Who the hell is the drummer? What a beat he produced! Set the tempo for all. He stayed right on key (& beat) throughout the entire song.
Follow The Sun lol drums aren't in a key...
Drummer is Kenny Aronoff. He was drummer for John Mellencamp prior to joining John's band
Didn't Kenny catch a charge relating to a minor.
This may the Coolest Incredible Track ever Written ... what a fucking Performance...absolutely Perfect ... if you dont move to this your dead ..
