I'm wondering if the pedal added noise? I was listening with my Bose headphones, but wasn't sure if the noise was from your mic or the pedal? I currently have a MXR Studio Compressor, but it's too noisy for me. Btw, I'm playing a Schecter Riot 5 into a Great River 1-NV and the sound is huge and without any noise :)
