Warm audio is my favorite pedal company.. everything is just spot on fantastic and finest quality available in my opinion. And to have these unavailable unicorns in full glory and detail is just amazing.. dropping my order asap..I have the bender the centavo and all my patch cables are warm quality..thanks for what you do. It takes everything to the next level 🤘🎸💪
Ordered one this morning, first thing after I got the email. Hadn't seen the video yet. Looking forward to putting it through it's paces. both live and in the studio.
Thank you, Mr. Young for not only explaining in useful detail the workings of this new unit, but also for making it. I know I'm going to be picking one up very soon, and this video has a lot to do with that decision.
@@N0B0DY_SP3C14L You'll notice a lot of similarities. It’s basically a scaled-down FET circuit of our studio 76. The transformer is custom designed to replicate the output transformer on our rack unit in a different physical size. There is an output transformer only vs. having an input and output transformer on a rack unit. Hope this helps! 🙌
I'd love to know what's the difference between this and the non-pedal version (obviously because I'm curious how they sound on drums.. and other stuff)
Hi, here are the main differences: The pedal doesn't have an input transformer, just an output transformer. The input of the pedal is unbalanced and designed to accept a hi impedance guitar, bass or instrument signal, not a line level with line level impedance. The rack mount version runs on 30v, pedal on 18v. The input on-amp stages on the pedal are modified to work lower voltage. The attack/release slowest and fastest times are slightly different from the rack unit but are still functional and not drastically different from a rack mount 1176
Hey there! The inserts are unbalanced on the WA73 units so in order to use it as an FX loop, you'll have to use the instrument input and output. They can also run the DI balanced input into the line or mic input as well. Hope this helps!
This pedal adds some awesome character to bass! Check out the Mark Johnston and Sean Power demos on our playlist...A couple of really sweet applications. Link below. 👇 ruclips.net/p/PLhjJO0sPseBub2teVOhUBY3h3kMS2yo2l&si=KGm0rxzdiGLGDw94
@@WarmAudioOfficial I heard it, sounds really good and I'm definitely getting one as soon as they appear around. Ok, then... LA3A in a pedal form, please :)
Hey there! It is not a stereo pedal but we do have a compressor pedal on our our product line. Check out the Pedal76 with the link below. Hope this helps! warmaudio.com/pedal76
Hey there! The Pedal76 can only send and receive an unbalanced instrument signal, so there would need to be something in between to change the impedance and signal level (outside of cases like an unbalanced insert for a pre-amp, or if the line-unit specifically has a Hi-Z input).
Now that's how it's 'DONE'!
Awesome Presentation Mr. Young.

Thanks so much for the feedback! We're just getting started in the pedal game! 🔥
@@WarmAudioOfficial ive been following that journey my friend. The quality top to bottom is just world class second to none.

I love that he made sure to mention Mastodon. Love Warm Audio! ❤
Sounds promising!! 😮🔥🔥🔥

Thank you for checking out the overview content! We're around if you have any questions.
@@WarmAudioOfficial One comes to mind: How does the pedal compare sonically to the rack unit?

amazing product
incredible product, incredible presentation! just oredered mine, thank you...
Thank you! Let us know if you have any questions. Enjoy the new gear!
I bet this would sound so dope with a sampler, like the SP-404, running through it and putting max compression on the signal. Instant lo-fi vibes!
Seems unbelievable 😍
Very nice!
Damn, this is so sick!
A blend control would make this compressor perfect.
Heavy compression and then blending in the dry signal is a really important feature nowadays.
Yes it returns the punch to your pick attack 😊

@@bryceyoung4474 Wow thank you so much!! So I’m guessing using a Reamp box you might get similar results using the pedal instead of the rack unit
Can this be used in the FX Loop of my WA73-EQ?

Awesome! Please make a bass version with high pass for the side chain :)

Do the Warm Audio have product such compressor pedal for synth keyboards two in and two out?

Can the input take a balanced signal? Trs?

Is the output transformer only heard through the balanced out or the amplifier out as well?
It is heard through both outputs when an external power supply is being used! On battery mode the transformer is removed from the circuit.
@@bryceyoung4474 This is exactly what I was hoping to hear. I ordered one. Will be here tomorrow. And so glad you made this.
Now do Pedal3A.
