1. Tuck in your t-shirts, shirts and blouses
2. Nude shoes (closest match to your skin tone)
3. Pointed toe Shoes
4. Expose the ankles (roll up your pants especially when wearing flats)
5. Monochrome outfit (same color top and bottom)
6. Vertical Stripes
7. Expose your skin (like roll up the sleeves)
8. Longer necklace
9. Better fitted top or tee than loser fit to accentuate waistline

If you put your hair up, it’ll elongate your neck and make you look taller too!
I'm 5'2" tall, boxy figure and a long torso. High waisted pants help a lot.
People always ask me why I have my shirt tucked into my pants all the time and it’s because I am 5 foot 1 lol

Finally! Tips for petite girls, from a petite girl!
That's cool that people don't realize you are short. Everyone knows I'm short (I'm also 5'1), so clearly, I need to work on it! It doesn't help that some of my 4th graders are taller (and wider) than me, so people see us standing next to each other and it really accentuates how tiny I am.
OH yes- I'm a retired teacher, 5'2" and small-boned. I taught teens and they almost all were taller than I am.
Haha, being shorter than a teen sounds a lot better than being shorter than a 9-year-old! But, I get you. :)

I'm short too and very small boned(Asian genes). I've learned to embrace my size. We're tiny little elves that are small, slim and agile. We don't have to compare ourselves to regular sized humans (whatever height they are at where you live). Just look and feel the best for yourself

It's the first time I see someone who has the exact same body shape as me, it's so comforting and finding advice that I can actually follow. I'd love you to give us advice on what to do (what kind of bag to use) when you need to be walking around with your computer, I find that wearing hills is hard in that case. Thank you !

I'm 5'1 as well and live by these tips! Always exposing the wrists/ankles - the daintiest parts of your body - goes miles in terms of slimming you down and making your clothes look more fitting/proportionate.

This is AWESOME. I've been doing some of these things for years but still learned a lot. Blessings!
Good tips. I've had most of my tops' sleeves tailored at 3/4 length that is more flattering for me. And when I find pants/jeans that fit right, I buy two pairs, one hemmed for flats and the other for heels. I don't usually rolled up my jeans unless the underside material is of similar color as the outside because the light colored cuff visually cuts me off at the lower leg which would make me look shorter. It costs more to tailor clothes, but worth it in the long run.
I am 5’8’’ but your tips are great for short and tall and everything in between. My mom is only 5’ and she is always looking for ways to look a little more tall and slim without wearing heels. It’s amazing how just tucking in a shirt and changing to a flesh tone pointed shoe can change everything! Great video. 👏🏻

Thank you so much for your video! I’m 5’2” and looking shorter is always my issue. I hate high heels, everything hurts at the end of the day, so I’m always on flats. Watching your video I realize I’m been using my shirts the wrong way, untucked, because I have “love handles” and tummy. I’ll try tuck in them in.
