An upcoming movie is shining new light on one of the most shocking incidents in Philadelphia’s history; the caught-on-camera abduction of Carlesha Gaither-Freeland nearly a decade ago. She sat down with NBC10 investigative reporter Claudia Vargas to talk about what happened and how she has been coping with the trauma over the years.

Am glad she’s alive and someone saw her getting abducted..it helped the police move quickly..to her finding her..but idk if her trauma went away..🙏its like reliving this nightmare all over again..wth this lifetime movie...

The trauma is most likely still there! I was almost abducted a couple years ago in Philly & that still shook me till this day! I can't imagine actually getting kidnapped!!! 🙏🏽

Today, I just watched her autobiographical movie on Lifetime it was so powerful & moving...I received more details & encite about what happened to Carlesha; then when I seen the 'See No Evil' documentary on the ID channel...I'm so happy she fought back and survived to tell her story to the world...God Bless🙏🏽
