Too small for Highgarden. Why didn't they just take shot of spanish Alhambra palace, a real life Highgarden, since they've already been filming in Spain? Huge disappointment. :(
Because D&D does not understand how it is potencialy years to take a castle that big and well defended, and well suplied... Ohh wait the Blackfish could hold out whit less men against same army (-Tarys +Freys so slightly weaker)
for a castle with no flat ground around, I highly doubt that the little army Jamie brought can take it down................. how they break the door? magic?? D&D writing is as horrible as expected
Your right it really doesn’t make since how it was a sweeping victory, but the army they had was not small at all. That was the majority of the Lannister army, which is an absolute crushing number of trained, well armored, men. They also have battering rams so breaking down the door was probably what happened
@@jacksonfairfax6351 in reality for a castle like this, it will take the attackers months to break in. Especially High Garden is on top of a hill, catapult for the Lannisters will have shorter range than the defender. Tyrels can write 100 ravens to ask for dragon's help.
@@peter0702 I completely agree. In reality they would have done what they did at blackwater before. But they were rushed for time i guess so i don’t know, the shows direction unspokenly just went in a downward spiral. Perhaps if the battle wasn’t off screen lol
@@peter0702 ...wow! it's almost as if highgarden didn't expect the entire lannister army to arrive right at their doorstep and didn't have a proper amount of time to prepare decent defenses. crazy how that happens, right?
@@derps8690How would they not notice the Lannister army. It has to cross from Casterly Rock through most of the Westerlands and fhe Reach to attack Highgarden. That means passing by dozens of other castles that would send word to Highgarden that the Lannister army is marching South.
"It's not a castle." I'm gonna use this when I'm arguing about my pay.

They wasn't on that side of Spain
Just searched it and WOW
High Garden had one of the largest armies in westros. How easily they got defeated
Because of D&D bad writing. Nothing more.
@@kerem_1404 sadly why
I assumed that their bannermen abandoned them, so the Lannisters only had to deal with the Tyrell forces rather than the entire Reach.
@@transylvanian8437 the Taryls abandoned them but the other houses doing the same made no sense.

What happen to the Reaches men.
80 thousand strong there suppose to be.
Another form of bad writing.
The tarly men's fought with the lannisters
80 thousand men gather when u call the banners, not when u get attaked unexpectedly
chetan kumar where were they in the show.
Did they all just remain neutral?
Most of the tyrell forces sided with randyll tarly and the lannisters.
@Adolf Hitler where were those 80 thousand than when figthing Daenerys. You don't make sense. D&D fucked up. Get over it!
