I dont think it was for the inexperienced. Some of those cars were so hard to drive. Porsches were insane. A 911 has always been one of the best road racing cars, flat, stable, but they were bad before this. Cant wait to try out a porsche with this new patch!
Very agree! Now the inexperienced can drive without TCS and think they are suddenly good and the realistic simulation was wrong ... Everyone suddenly became an experienced race driver.
Agreed! I drove the R8 last night on stream and noticed it's still really slippery. While the new traction is much much better, you can still have situations where TC1 might be viable.
One thing I noticed with the update is that there is an increase of on power understeer using a controller (especially in MR cars), so you still have to modulate the throttle to prevent that. However, it's much more manageable and predictable than before.
How to turn tcs off in multiplayer.... Been trying to do it so me and my friends can race but I can't figure it out , but I can turn traction control off on single player lol I don't get it

Wouldn’t the update allow you to dial more oversteer into a car setup without making it undriveable? Slides seem much easier and more intuitive to catch now.
the TC system still isn’t correct so I would see why they went back to (similar) Sport physics. however, MR and RR cars shouldn’t be spinning with the slightest tap of the throttle, even when wet. road cars including every single porsche in existence was hard to drive. ACC, a sim, had the lambo and audi easier to control in the game with little to no assists compared to the lambo and audi in GT7. I shouldn’t be legit scared to push the car around the corners. This is good update, those wishing for the sim-physics should know the game should be accessible to everyone.

Since the Tomahawk pp glitch is gone, I've gone back to the 24 hr Le Mans race. My RR drive vehicles seem waay more stable, consistent, and overall better to drive. Also, I'm somewhat of a purist and enjoy the full experience of racing with no Traction control, ABS, etc, and this update has made that much easier with some of the higher powered vehicles.
It's a very good handling car, amazing during light and no throttle cornering at 130-140mph on the Tokyo Express, but you still have to manage throttle response so that input isn't too harsh, which is great. PP600 setup 3500lbs around 500hp with sport medium fronts and sport soft rears. After tire swap, sport medium rears allow for more turn-in but the back end needs more throttle management. Still a fun car to use. Keeps you engaged and it's an excellent performer as long as you have good throttle control. Snap is much more manageable and the car feels planted, even under moderate throttle. Too much throttle or harsh engagement of throttle under low speeds will still kick the tail out easily, but it's so much more manageable to correct. Loving it 👍🏽

not sure this is good, in general. Youre basically telling all aggressive retro traction cars are not oversteering at beginning and during a turn anymore, and the excessive traction is now handled on its own.
You can tell when you start at 10th and you have new people around you and they have their TCS on. I was gapping upto P6 everything above was at least 30behind after 5 laps. If you car has turbo and you are using TCS at all you are going to be slower no questions. SC not so much an issue but still practice your throttle control. But honestly I would prefer more rotation into the corner because slightly sideways was the quickest for me. I am quite a tyre destroyer but lap times if I want 1-1.5 sec behind top 10, so i need some more rotation :-/
Soft tyres have more grip
After the update?
Fix lobbies PD, please god. Can’t create your own grids and there’s now a new issue where sometimes people become invisible after entering the pit lane
Been like this in GT Sport too!
@@Kireth oh really? I wasn’t around at the launch of sport. I just wish they’d open up communication. It’s kinda ridiculous
Some great cars have now massive understeer...
Is it still realistic?
Eh
Bit annoying if you've done loads of circuit experiences prior 🤦 great video though 👏✌️
Still you proved your worth and got the cash
Tell me about it!
That means I have to rebuild my cars setups? 🤔
was thinking the same thing
@@myahoff from day one I play with all assists of (abs, TCS etc) and I did some setups to balance my cars and now I don't know if I have to do some adjustments or not 😅
@@marcelolopes4049 i dont have a solid yes or no answer however the handling physics have definitely changed, lot of ppl saying its back to gt sport's handling physics, FR cars definitely handle better. went from oversteer to understeer. which makes me think all of our tunes will need to be slightly tweaked
@@myahoff it's sad because I liked the way it was honestly.
I Like the Update i allmost use TCS 1 at FR Cars and None at FF or 4x4 now but sometimes you need it and sometimes not its all in the Driver and how He feels comfort.
now I need tune my gtr again
Here we go again!
you need to adjust your throttle. You are not reaching the hole space on the throttle bar.
Same here I’m satisfied with the update! TC = OFF
does anyone else feel like the GT3RS is impossible to drive?
Have you seen my tuning video?
How do you change your dash layout to have traction control, weather ect. In the middle
The Square [ ] button… as per standard layout changes your view. #simples
D- pad swithes between the tcs and weather huds etc👍. Use left, right to change between them and up, down to change the tcs or power balance etc
Yep bumper view
@@Kireth thank you sir
@@simondigiwiz4810 thank you sir
I use a controller and it feels like this update has made it so much more difficult to drive fast with a controller.
Try a wheel and see how it is
Happy days!
Like deployed 👍
😎🎙🏎✅
Thanks Julian!
but is Traction control obsolete now?
Less relevant for sure
It is always ON, but invisible, so we now think we are great drivers and are happy with GT7 ...
I'll still use it on 1....
Absolutely nothing wrong with that Cyril!
Me who has never used traction control
Woo
Love it 🤘🤘🤘
Since the Tomahawk pp glitch is gone, I've gone back to the 24 hr Le Mans race. My RR drive vehicles seem waay more stable, consistent, and overall better to drive. Also, I'm somewhat of a purist and enjoy the full experience of racing with no Traction control, ABS, etc, and this update has made that much easier with some of the higher powered vehicles.
Nice!
It’s not gone
How do I turn it off
On the MFD mate
@@Kireth alr thanks
Great video but I believe it’s Cacapoopoo
Anybody else already had TC off, and just used an LSD??
This car already has a good grip
Do it with other cars like shelby 350 gt
Loving it 👍🏽
Traction at 0 is impossible with Special Stage track.
All of the assist should be disabled for sport mode idk why there on for it
Try it with the 787b
Feel free to report back to us!
@@Kireth tried last night lol.spin after spin
@@marksimpson1007 they just put the physics from gt sport into gt7. I run TC at one. always have. I can pass the whole field. usually the top 2 guys get away, but not always lol.
Yeah 787 understeers like a pig now, and with tc off spins pretty easily
But I did a 5:53 on nordschleife in the R92 so that's good I guess
Yeah FR cars definitely alot faster. My street car on SS tires on nurb does low 7's now. Under 400hp car too
Wow that's a good time 👀
@@Kireth the car was the Slieghtly 98 2116lbs 383hp roughly top speed for my setup is 190mph but again on Sport Soft tires
Low 7s with sport tires low bhp sileghty ? 👀👀👀
@@s16santos79 yeah since the update. Before the update my best time was I believe around 7:40's
@@Glee26 ok bro Thays not low 7s but good time. my best is 7:43 ek4 type R N/A 870kg racing softs
Yip they f#cked I hate understeer far easier to drive with overstear
Am I the only who just completely lost all driving instincts when arriving in GT7, I went from 0 TCS, being good with the thorttle and not using ABS.
To being a complete idiot who uses nearly max driving aids
3:07 he he he ha ha
👀👀
not sure this is good, in general.
Youre basically telling all aggressive retro traction cars are not oversteering at beginning and during a turn anymore, and the excessive traction is now handled on its own.
The trick with the dodge doesn't work anymore
If you're talking about the Tomahawk on Tokyo it still works. There are already new RUclips videos showing it. Just need new adjustments now.
Play any recent F1 game with TCS off/0 and don’t stop till you can handle the F1 cars then go back to gt7 and TCS won’t be an issue for you
amd they basically stuck GT Sport physics in GT7. it's fine with me lol. I liked gt sport.
Was a great game!
@@Kireth I play ACC when I want the serious sim experience. I play gt7 for the close racing. I think gran turismo fills the sport lobbies with really close skill levels most of the time.
I was able to jump in the viper for laguna seca CE and gold it after ten or so tries with the new update. I had written it off before, after nearly six hours of attempts.
You shouldn’t of needed a tracktion control in group 3 cars anyway lol now it’s got to much understeer
Anyone have a dodge GT3 laying around? Just doing some tests 🍌
Hang on, didn’t kireth say it’s ruined? 🤣 It’s easier to catch the oversteer now with a wheel. Maybe there is too much traction now? But in the words of the Matrix, ‘What is real?’ 😁
i feel like racing softs should have plenty of traction, so I wouldnt say its ruined. quite the opposite
Please don't misquote me, I never said it's ruined 👍
@@Kireth Granted Kireth, you didn’t say “ruined”. But the comment was made with jest and humour. Perhaps the word “ruined” was too strong a word to use. But in the previous video, you didn’t seem too happy about the changes. Is that fair to say? Or are you undecided?
Hope this hasn't effected my drift builds, I'll have to check this weekend.
lol poopoocaca, Now the balance of your brakes that rear don't get hot
I think these videos are kind of funny. if TC is such a power drag why do I start last, and finish 4th or 3rd in most races in sport mode. where the serious GT7 players race? yes TC at 0 can be faster if you are good at throttle control. most of the guys I pass are usually make TC at 0 mistakes lol. Real GT3 cars have TC on 100% of the time lol.
What DR rank?
@@Kireth as high as b, and D if the A daily race is a shit show. I'm no top split. Usually top split in C driver rank, but my sportsmanship never drops below S.
Rank B for me, came 1st and second(up from 8th) on daily c, no tc
@@Kireth it's technically faster having tc off than having TC on.
My cousin is always a A+ rank driver and always, on every single car and race, puts TC on 1 and swears by it.
Yesssssss!!!!!
Maybe I won't spin out all the time with my r32 lol
That's the dream 😅
I've noticed a major improvement on steering angle, which was something I absolutely struggled with
I thought that was linked to ride height and bottoming out?
Interesting!
Oil change!!!
dude, its nis-anne not knee-sarn.
It is where Kyle is from 😅
@@Kireth he should relocate
My brother in law says "tee-yoda" for toyota. Gives me a seizure every time.
We love Kyle and his knee-sans!
Hahaha... oh no... I've lived all over this country.. and I have picked up accents from all over.. don't mind me...🦅🦅
Frankly think it changed for the better. Feel much more confident throwing a car into a 5th gear corner on the nordschkieffe even in a RR Porsche
Not worth to pay 70 euros to buy it its a trap
The game is no where close to control-ability realism. I can be going 5 mph trying to steer into a corner in wet conditions and it won't steer and just goes straight. That's just not realistic. Even my shitty F-150 at home can do better. The car should attempt to steer a LITTLE bit no matter how fast you are going.
