The sound transmission between violent rushing wind and coarse water, to nothing but gentle and serene water splashing accompanied by an idling engine is so strangely fast.
Like, one second you're flying, the next you're peacefully bobbing on the lake.

I'm an ATP with around 5000 hrs. I have always wanted to add a seaplane rating. It's just cool.

Perfect angle of attack kept all the way to the end of the landing, well done. Student pilots of tail dragger or tri-gear aircraft take note!

Please post your locations. Some of us like to "fly" over the areas ourselves with Google Earth..... Your previous video identifies Horne Lake. What river is this?

I went to your homepage.... I see Pitt River. I think I answered my own question.
