I home BW Chicagos and VRL Breds and Black Toes. The BW have serious QC issues in terms of pattern - panels not consistent in size, so you may have the top of the swoosh on one shoe 1/4 inch closer to the eye stay panel as an example. It will drive you nuts if you look at the left and right shoes side by side. The VRL's are damn near perfect. No QC issues. I like what BW is doing and the toe box shape is lovely but you get what you pay for.
Developer Boring CLEARS the 85 sneaker game. The price is perfect, the shape of the 2.0 is beautiful and the materials are stronger now. They are my go-to 85 guys

Boring Watch used calf leather for the first rendition of his pairs, that’s why the leather is super thin. This month however, him and his team revised the shoe for the Bred 85’s release and Chicago restock with the 2.0 rendition which looks a lot closer to Nike’s Retro 85’s this time around. I always thought the VRL’s were well done, being a mix between the 85 and 94 models of Jordan’s but I couldn’t get myself to spend that money lol. Great review!

I feel that with any batch that the factories across the water make, they are always going to improve on their original rendition, or version of the sneaker. This is why I wanted to show people what's available now, but let them know that more than likely in a couple of months, not even years, there's going to be a better version of the sneaker, so there's no reason to get upset or stressed, because it's going to get better on every batch that is created.

Something's gotta give. Less time to receive your order, quality suffers. Better quality, your order time before the pair is received is increased exponentially. It is what it is. 😐

First pair that they created...they didn't use the thickest of materials, but their more recent releases have really improved; check out my BW 85' Royal AJ1 review to see the difference. 👍🏾
